CK3 Urraca died at age 74. She's the longest long lived female PC I've played so far. What happened during her reign; accidentally had an affair with the councilor. Well how was I to know that a suggestion of a walk under the moonlight in an attempt to escape a boring party would turn out to be a romp in the grass?! It turned out to be a thorn though as one courtier and another attempted to blackmail Urraca. I pretended to agree and then set in motion murder schemes to off the blackmailers. legitimise the bastards of her sons, gave them a proper education before sending them off to seek their fortunes the nutty son who tried to bed his mom died of wounds he received in battle. Good riddance. lost two sons to murder schemes of which I never found out out the culprits consolidate a kingdom before passing on. Her eldest assumed the throne smoothly. No outbreak of chaos. I then switched to a fresh play of Sigurd Snake-in-the-eye. This time I fooled around with the ladies at court. Result; a concubine from a vassal, added two concubines from court, added a lover from court who became pregnant. She was unmarried so I got her a husband after she gave birth. oops, I wasn't paying attention but there wasn't any hooloobooloo about her kid. I made sure the kid has a guardian and given an education. Then while in a meeting with a potential lover, another courtier interrupted the tryst. I opted for; close the door! Sigurd ended up netting two lovers from that night. However, one of the ladies is married and someone tried to blackmail Sigurd. Not having that this time so Sigurd ended up with the reputation of an adulterer. Aw, I though Viking Princes could have many lovers?!

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition
Michael Shepard, Vanguard, Spacer, War Hero
Very much my "canon" route, haven't reached ME2 yet, Ashley sacrificed herself on Virmire. On a meta-sense, it has my A-Team comprised of a Vanguard (myself), a Sentinel (Kaidan), and an Infiltrator (Garrus). In ME3, it'll save on Garrus's AP Ammo because I can squad-out Cryo Ammo.
Really loving the QoL improvements, such as free sprinting and Mako boosters, as well as being competent (though not exceptional) with "untrained" weapons. Rocking the Inferno Rounds and Shock Trooper specialization, really ups the survivability on Insanity difficulty.

I did the story for the last LS3 "Return to" episode. It was painful on my Guardian. Everything until now had been smooth like butter on him or felt like it. That was until I returned to play Reaper Necro I guess...
After that, I started HoT with my new Necro, only one story instance left in the first zone. I also did some exploration and almost soloed "Guano" (a champion hero point, it's a gigantic vampire bat). The "almost" is because another player showed up to "help" when I had it down at 15%. He didn't help. He screwed my rotation over and clearly had no idea how to fight Guano. It took more time to kill her with the other guy than it took me to take her down to 15% all alone...

CK3 Sigurd-Snake-in-the-Eye I give up on attending parties because Sigurd kept getting waylaid by the courtiers / vassals. They had him make promises while he was drunk so he had to honour or gain a stain on his reputation. One of the courtiers got a strong hook on him that he ousted the heir from the post of councilor and took his place. The thing is, he's lousy in diplomacy which is why he's never considered in the first place. Annoyed, I had him murdered but not before he insulted a foreign king. Once dead, I put the son back in that position. I'm also pissed with the bickering among the vassals. It got to the point that a vassal imprisoned one of Sigurd's daughter married to another vassal along with the granddaughter who's two years old. He refused to release them so I had him murdered. When his heir also turned out to be stubborn, the title was stripped from him. He didn't let go without a fight though. Pretty happy when he's grounded flat.

My Time at Portia Had a nice relationship arc with Abigail yesterday. She went to watch some flowers bloom with Dr.Xu and he told her that he'd be leaving to meet his master for a few days. He'd be going over sea and had cultivated the flowers to make a seasickness potion for himself. Then few days later his assistant came over and said he was bedridden after the testing went horribly wrong. So Abigail scuttled over and nursed him back to health.
Then they met later and he confessed he hadn't taken the potion because he couldn't bear the thought of being away from her, then proposed they'd stay together forever. Abigail said yes and the marriage was the next day. Which is a bit rushed but oh well. So got her dolled up and nice before going to bed. Then the wedding happens and he's just wearing his work clothes. Cool. Then right after the kiss she initiates dialog and he says "You've changed. We used to be okay" ... So they divorced the same day.
Well not really she gave him a couple of garden shovels and he got the message. Although he supposedly takes divorce pretty well, so maybe that will be an option in the future. Also divorce has an achivo connected to it...
Also unlocked the factory, just after I got these huge inventory boxes and got all my crap sorted. Except the factory doesn't access the items in the boxes outside...So need to go back to the drawing board on inventory planning.
Also got the third upgrade on the relic scanner + a tiny driller from Mint. So now Abigail is just absolutely destroying the ruins with direction and spite after ages of slowly picking her way blindly through with a pickaxe. Feels good.

Dropped CK3 for Subnautica. Need a change of scenery.
Btw, does anyone have a solution for win 10 dialing up volume suddenly? Unlike the old sound device, the new one has no physical toggle so it doesn't stay stable. It'll suddenly zoom to 100% and there'll very loud booms coming out of the speakers.
The alternative is to dial to 100% and pull game sounds all the way down but it's annoying because it's still loud, especially on YT.

Guess I'm one of the few people who can't enjoy Outer Wilds. Was looking forward to finally playing it.
I HATE the time loop. It's bad enough I keep dying for other reasons than the sun exploding all the time anyway. When I do make some progress the game resets. Great. Way to waste my limited time...
I'm having zero fun with the gameplay. Gave it 3h. I don't find learning about the lost civilization fun either. The exploration ain't much fun. Subnautica in space this is not.
The only thing I enjoyed was the very beginning before lift off. Reminded me of the good old Zelda days of leaving your peaceful village to go on an adventure. Except this adventure feels like wasting my time going to the same spot over and over for minor progress.
This game is not for me it seems. Disappointed.

The Council Finished my second PT in about 10h. Made different choices, met a character I completely missed the first time towards the end and got a different ending. Perhaps the only good one for poor Louis in the long run. I realized I misunderstood a few things. All guests can be saved actually. And now the love story, if one wants to call it that, is even more tragic. Spoilers for the whole game again: This time around I managed to prevent the suicide. And managed to keep the tormented man alive and he lived out the rest of his days in company of his daughter. That was nice.
Seems it's possible to save the distraught young woman who hears voices. I thought she always dies. But apparently if you tell her to run and leave the island, she escapes. On my first PT I did turn down the duchess the first night to comfort her. I just assumed she was doomed no matter what because no way was she going to get away. So I told her to stay put, hoping to help her later on. But then she got murdered. Crap. She's probably the only truly innocent character...
I failed one puzzle this time around by accident which led to a pretty funny scene where Louis needs to get rescued after getting himself trapped by the guy who can commit suicide later on. That was interesting. So failing puzzles can be entertaining. Different things will happen. In that way the game reminds me of Disco Elysium where failing is half the fun.
I was so curious how the love story would play out if the sister he gets it on with survives the gun pointing confrontation. Since this time it was both of them I picked the real duchess again. I misunderstood her calling herself a monster for her attraction, neither sister knew Louis is their brother. And finding that out fucks them both up big time, as expected. They get piss drunk. But only one of them will completely lose it. Even though the duchess acknowledges the deed it plays out the same way as before. Except that I missed her telling him she loves him because for that to happen you need to let her read Louis' mind. It's a quick time event that I just by reflex passed both times because you usually just gain more information. No point in not doing it before. In this case passing it prevents her from mind reading Louis who will say it's rude among demons to do that. If you let her she'll know that he still has feelings for her too despite the shocking news. Huh.
I mean, they've known each other for two days. So it's all a bit silly. It's a very melodramatic game and romance. But I still liked it a lot.
It's too bad the devs seemed to have chickened out on letting the player decide what to do about it. Which annoys me. Why bring it up like that if you're going to ignore it at the end?
What you CAN do however to the other sister is pretty damn evil. So, the real duchess is the sane one who recovers from the shock. And she also trusts Louis and will vote for the side that Louis is going to vote for without a fight. Now her sister is a different matter. I saw a video on how it plays out if you save the unstable sister. OH BOY. The other sister completely loses her mind. I mean, she got shot twice, the poor woman. First by Louis' mother errr older sister... Then by her twin sister out of jealousy mostly. And now she learns that she banged her brother. I can see how that would break a person, lol. At some point you might be asked to sway her to vote for her father's plan. Their father's plan. But she doesn't want to do it. The only way to pursuade her is to exploit her mental breakdown and promise to marry her and have her children. WTF?! She'll be delighted! That's some next level evil manipulative shit!
I guess it makes sense if the player decides to support his father and become as evil as him... There are several more endings btw.
One ending you can only get if you meet the Father of all demons. Or at least the father of Louis's father and of this uncle, naturally. This game is really one messed up family story!
Father Demon, Asahel, is very displeased with Louis' dad for trying to kill his brother. Demons are not allowed to kill one another. Which also means that if Louis kills his father, Asahel might come for him at some point. So that ending I got the first time might not be so happy after all...
This time I let Asahel possess Louis and then punish his dad by burying him alive (sadly this isn't shown). Again the game ends with everyone at the dock departing from the cursed island. No word spoken. No goodbyes.
I guess the twin sister gets trapped in the ether in that ending. Which kinda sucks. In my first playthrough her soul was transferred to a servant and together the three siblings kill their crazy dad.
Oh, and this time I managed to keep Louis from losing his hand AND he managed to save his mother/sister. She gets off the island alone before the others. Good for her! Her ending slide is not the most positive however. She dies a few years later in a yurt raving about needing a new body. Also, apparently she never found Louis again Oops!
Another ending would be to trust daddy despite literally everyone telling you that he uses and discards people and he's in danger. So then if you stupidly do trust him he'll try to absorb your soul/kill you.
Louis can also die of ordinary poisoning by an NPC if you fail the confrontation. Lol, sounds fun!
This was such a whacky game, loved it!
I would have to replay at least a couple more times to see every variation but I think I'm done. One of the few games where your chocies have actual consequences throughout the game. The overall plotting stays the same of course. But how you get there and where it leaves you at the end differs greatly. Which is awesome. Very engaging game. I'm glad I didn't know anything about it. It was nothing like what I expected but sometimes that's a good thing.

GW2
I finished HoT on my tiny Necro. It was easy. I even took the two worst boss fights before the big final fight. No issues, I barely lost any health actually, but I have active heal regen via life-steal from my minions (not as great as it once was because it was nerfed, but it's enough for most stuff).
I also soloed all of Tangled Depth Hero Points. Even the Mushroom Queen that I always considered impossible to solo. She's dead now. I then went to Auric Basin to solo more Hero Points as I didn't do all of them yet. Two of them aren't soloable for me, or at least not with the built I had. Amusingly, someone went to finish one I started and ran away from so I was credited for it. That means I have a single HP left on that map which is guarded by a super annoying boss who can wipe entire groups. I'll get it eventually. I haven't gotten those on Dragon's Stand either, but they don't require combat.
I'm also enjoying the female Asura voice acting. I was kinda scared at first, because male Asura is somewhat annoying and I always abandon those characters because of it, but I really like her.
Now LS3 to play through and then Path of Fire (PoF), but I got time as the next "Return to" series doesn't start before the 24th.

Ugh. The Subnautica PT is bugged. Although I scanned interior and exterior growthbeds which will automatically give me the blueprint, I don't have them so I can't build them. Another bug is that even though I took the blackbox data off the Aurora, I was told I need to find it. I think this game needs a fresh install even I ran a verify files and it came back ok.

GW2 I finished Path of Fire now on my new little Necro. She's ready for the "Return to" LS4 in 2 weeks. Now I'm not sure what I'm going to do with her exactly. There are achievements I want to finish, but they are in LS4. Picking all the "somber" dialogues in the epilogue is a real party downer. It fit my Necro thought.

Finished Phoenix Wright Dual Destinies + the dlc case over the weekend. All in all I found it pretty enjoyable. Think it was a bit easier that the other games, but the try again mechanic saved me a lot of time save scumming since I would never get in the position on being completely lost on how to express an answer I knew, with one sliver of health and having to go back into the game from the loading screen again and again and again. So that's nice anger wise, but lead to fewer moments of stress when your entire health bar was at risk. The cases were alright. Case 2 spoiled the villain in the opening cutscene, which made the case less suspenseful. But still it was an interesting riddle and the final cutscene was pretty neat. Case 3 was my favorite, since the opening cutscene did not spoil who did it. It was also stand alone, had bunch of touching moments and some very amusing sequences. Case 1, 4 and 5 were all connected. It was a pretty wild ride, which I'm all for but wonder how much sense it made as a whole. It was exciting at the very least. DLC case was a whale of a time. Got to the credits in My Time at Portia with Abigail. It was very sweet. There are quite a few quests after that, but figure I'll take a bit of a break from Abigail. Not sure if the break extends to Portia itself, since I kinda want to draw up some new character concepts and maybe play them for a little bit. So gonna see what happens.

Continuing my Skyrim run, with a full team of no less than 10. "Master" difficulty to compensate.
Comprised of, in no particular order: Lucien, the scholar (Imperial) Inigo, the blue cat (Khajiit) Kaidan, the samurai (Akaviri) Auri, the ranger (Bosmer) Hoth, the barbarian (Nord) Ma'kara, the rogue (Khajiit) S'ariq, the assassin (Khajiit) Bikhai, the warrior (Khajiit) Nanak, the wizard (Khajiit) Michael, the dovahkiin (Nord)
Ergo, me and my army of cats and other misfits.
For the tactically interested... Auri and Inigo favor archery, Ma'kara and S'ariq dual-wield daggers, Kaidan, Hoth, and Bikhai use an odachi, greataxe, and greatsword respectively, while Lucien and Nanak utilize magic, with Lucien favoring armor and healing spells and Nanak favoring elemental cloaks and other offensive bombardment. Ergo, two ranged, two flankers, three tanks, two mages, and me.
I suppose I'm the "paladin" here, with my skill with a shield and Restoration. (a perfectly valid school of magic)
Anyway, I quicksave, then start stealing everything in sight, in full view. Chaos ensues.
"Hey! That isn't yours!" "Rrah!" "Stop! Thief!" *Hiss!* "I'll mount your head on my wall!" *HISS!* "This is a local favorite, and one of the first songs I ever learned."
Guards show up, ignore my status as thane, and proceed to get blasted by ebony arrows, large metal sticks to the face, a lightning bolt, an ice spike, and a bucket. Which is weird, because there weren't any buckets in this place.
So, the place is a mess, I'm guilty of heinous crimes because I stole 23 wooden plates, and the bard is STILL trying to get everyone to listen to his song.
Only for Inigo to look me directly in the eye, and say: "You are a bad memory."
That hits different.

Because Far Cry 2 is such a slog to play (drive, drive, drive... I mean mostly just fix engine, and then drive again) - I have opted for Far Cry New Dawn. I kinda liked FC5 except the "well while you fly the plane in the sky, we'll still drug and kidnap you" levels of wtf. WHYYYYYYyyyyyy ... god WHYYYyyyy... - ok ok I'll play more and leave photo mode to rest.

I made another smuggler, since that is my favorite storyline (and apart from Corso, who is a bit bland, the smuggler has great companions).
Since I liked the look of my Cathar and decided, that it fits better with the female smugglers voice, I changed the Cathar lady from Sith inqui to smuggler.
So she looks like this, with a proper smuggler outfit:
I might keep the look on the inqui too, maybe they are twin sisters.
My smuggler, Lyna Rand, is on Nar Shaddaa now, trying to get some item from a very difficult Hutt and saving a Wookie along the way.

Far Cry 5 So ended up loading the game and picking on old Johnny boy. Continued my vandalism on Y, formerly YES and took his home just to spite him. In the memory he sounded much more put off about it but this time he took it with stride.
Recruited Nick Rye to my band of misfits and tried the plane one more time.
Had a grand time evading the hunting party, since John is the only one who plays fair in that matter. Managed to escape three times until some twit managed to sneak up behind me and shoot Rook. Decided not to slam YES and found out that he does in fact not use the screwdriver on Hudson. Or Rook for that matter. He just throws a temper tantrum and flips a table, which is not as fun as his lovely smile and that gleeful move he does. But amusing none the less. Figure he would be in a table tossing mood anyways. Been a right little twit this run.
Eventually John said enough, it's time to get married. Or something. He decorated the church real nice at the very least and did some scribbles on what I presume is Rook's chest. It was either Wrath or Rat, not sure but both sound neat. Did not say YES this time either, even if I got three offers to do so and knew exactly how much I was ruining. So poor fellow got slapped way more than he had to.
Airplane fight went much better this time, since I knew I could just jump out, deploy the parachute and use a homing missile on him. Feels good. Bunker also went better since I finally got into using drugs, which means I can see where my enemies are, coupled with the fact that even if the game wants me to hurry, I really should not. Rook did get a bit battered during the grappling bit, since the celebratory video was red and veiny around the edges. Or maybe Rook's just going mad?
Just got Faith's final mission left and figure I'm about one outpost or so to triggering it. Not sure I'll do anymore side stuff, cleared most of John's region in the first run, did most of Jacob's in this one and looking at the mission list I'm done with most of the interesting ones in Faith's lot.
Might mess around a little with the companion's though because the dialog can be pretty funny.

I discovered 3 small collections to get exotic weapons in core Tyria that I haven't done yet. They are special skin from a fan contest from a few years ago. The greatsword and sword are pretty cool looking, but the torch is weird. I had to craft a few things to unlock the collections and get the weapons at the end, but it was worth it.
I also map completed two maps, as each of the 3 collections happened in a single map and I took the time to do every objectives in them. The 3rd map was already at 100%.

Started Detroit: Become Human. Relly like it so far. I did enjoy both Heavy Rain and Beyon: Two Souls quite a bit and this one plays very similarly. The story is very intriguing so far. I don't think i am that far in yet but I already came across one super creepy scene. After being shot, one of the androids wakes up in a junkyard, with quite a few of his components damaged, including his legs, eyes and hearing. So you can barely see or hear anything as you crawl through the mud and rip the parts you need out of other half dead androids to stick them into your own body. It's pretty crazy stuff.
Anyway, curious to see where this is going.

Oh yea, in other news, I finally finished the Diablo 3 season. Was thinking of going after all the etherials for the transmog achievement but then I remembered that I don't have the necromancer class anyway and it would take way too much time. My main char waas a demon hunter. With her, I found the three etherials super quicly (the first one at level 8 ). My hardcore character is a monk. With him, I didn't find any etherial for a really loooong time. Then things started to pick up but I only found 2 of the 3 monk ones so far. Instead, I found one for the crusader class and one for the barbarian with him. Oh RNG gods, what are you doing to me? Anyway, after finishing the season journey, I think I'll leave it be for now.

The new Necro e-spec was revealed today, it's named Harbinger. The first e-spec was named Reaper. They totally missed the boat with the 2nd e-spec, it's named Scourge...it should have been named Sovereign.
I'm not awaiting next week to try it out in beta. From what they showed, I don't think I'm going to like it...

Finished Far Cry 5 for the second time and I'm so glad I did it this way. Because the "Walk away" ending is so perfect for that run. First run was all nice pure emotion stuff. Action, standing up, ect. This one was a bit more, let's try what I didn't do last, take it slow, ect. And having seen the other ending the smile and headbump Joseph gives you is a much bigger No! Bad touch!
And Earl is such a sweetie and has grown on me so much, so having him be all "Come on babies, in the car and away from the bad man" is so sweet. Especially since he does a similar thing in the Walk Away ending at the start. And since I did Faith's mission last I had the memory of Rook putting their hands oh so gently on his during his time of trauma and their little talk in the end. So like big "Good fatherly figure" vibes. Unlike some fathers...
And then he's all "We're going to do things right!" and his lovely smile as he flicks on the radio and then Oh no... Love it.
Especially since I was prepared for another catastrophe and so busy looking for it I didn't connect the dots before it was too late. (Well not much I could've done, but it's nice when you are also in on your characters mistake).
So that's my canon ending for that Rook. Started Far Cry New Dawn. The enemies call you rabbit, so figure my girl is gonna be named Bunny. Granted the allies use the title Captain, but Bunny is cuter. A picture in the spoilers Not very far in the game so far, so holding off judgement for now. But so far, kinda neutral on the baddies but the allies are pretty likeable. Playing on explorer mode, since I'm not tough at all and have no idea what I'm doing. I miss the weapon/vehicle customization, but the saw gun is such a neat weapon and love love love the motorcycles with sidecars. Love the little molerats in the game, they are so cute. And the humming birds too. And I love that the murder knife in this game is a pair of scissors. The best weapon. And photo mode has poses. Which I'm using in all the wrong ways and enjoying every second.

I started Bless Unleashed. It just started, so it is quite densely populated. Although it has only one server. Having played the previous version of the game, when it released 2-3 years ago, the revamped gameplay is far better. It looks beautiful, for a MMO, I love its art style. It's free to play, don't see no Pay 2 Win stuff. At least so far. Also, it's only out for a week now, so people haven't had the chance to dive in too deep into the game and exploit the fuck out of it. Progression isn't fast, I've played around 15 hours and haven't even made level 20 yet. Still, questing is fun, I don't feel bored with the gameplay and the absolute chaos of the boss battles, when large numbers of players just gather around and work together in this huge, disorganized mess and still manage to cooperate effectively to take down those mobs is just something that I've missed from my online gaming experience for years now. I'm having fun with an MMO. It's been a while.

Recently did a DA:O run as a mage. After that I wasted 40 hours of my life on Dark Souls. It was addictive up to a point and then I was totally burnt out. Deserves its reputation as a hard game, but also incredibly tedious. After that I finally played DA2, all these years later. Actually not a terrible game. Beat Foregone which is a great side scroller. Then I put about ten hours into DA:Inquisition. The large environments are really refreshing, especially for a DA game. The MMO nature of the gameplay is also kinda apparent at this early stage. Not thrilled with the combat so far. Everything else seems solid. I'm invested enough in the franchise at this point to see it through.
