When I came into the business of being a Warden, I had expectations of myself to be labeled the most progressive future-founder in history of correctional facilities....

The penitentiary I was given to administrate after the disappearance of the last CEO was frankly in a horrible condition. The solitaries were boxes of fear and feces, the cells were even more compartment boxes, and everyone without any exception was screaming their lungs out at night as the rats tried to crawl their eyes out.

I've set the goalpost high, to make the most foolproof reinforced facility on this end of the planet.
One where the loyal sleeps in sheets and the instigator in his own blood...
One where you either walk with the law and walk out into the sun, or walk astray and walk into a body-bag which will be tossed down a trash compactor or furnace...

I began rooting out prisoners by improving the bottom bar of the prison.
They've been given a new canteen, visitation rights from their families, common rooms, I even saw that religious people of all origins could praise their gods as they see fit.

Oh what a mistake, a grand mistake...

My attempts to slice this rotting ham into what is salvageable have worked like a knife, as in the knife which cut into my prisoners when eating time was over.
I put everybody else who had a history of obedience into protective custody, only for 3 more corpses to show up...

During this, the words of a wise prophet in the New Origin of Theus have sounded my ears...

Immediately after that I have began literally snapping the bones on my chief security officer to bypass the jury system and give us the rights to use lethal force.
Then it only took 6 nails to snap off of my lawyers fingers to prepare a court hearing defense.

And still NOTHING !
MORE BODIES ! MORE CASUALTIES !
WHEN YOU LOOK AWAY ANOTHER BLOODSTAINS DRIPS DOWN ONTO THE REP-SHEET, WHENEVER YOU BLINK ANOTHER PERSON IS SHANKED.
YOU WORK DAY AND NIGHT, YOU DON'T SEE YOUR FAMILY, YOU TRAP YOURSELF IN THE CAGE WITH FREAKS AND ANIMALS AND YOU GIVE THEM EVERYTHING THEY WISH FOR.
AND THEY, LIKE AZTECS, OFFER BLOOD TO THE BLOOD GOD...

...not anymore...

...this was not a prison, it was the end of life for many, even the CEO prior to me left a suicide letter which I only found at this point.

It was time...

I summoned the firefighter team to the facility, told them about a fire breaking out in our library...
I pointed them to a large steaming hole in the wall of a prison, but it was not the library, it was our generator...

The explosion was massive and fire began to spread, consuming the solitary and supermax prisoners alive...

Time for phase 2!
I gave the order to all my armed guards, who have been already pre-paid a large sum of the intake for last month, to shoot every single prisoner on sight.
No mercy, no regret, what started with blood as a wound can only be stitched by fire and lead.

For 7 hours has the fire blazed into the night sky...
For 7 hours have we shot down every burning mutilated corpse begging for mercy...
For 7 hours I stood and watched my work, my world, and my future burn into ash that is only moisturized by blood of all types.
