Final stretch at Nox in the Wizard playthrough. It's been a rough ride in this last chapter, almost frustratingly so. Let's see if I can finish this tomorrow.
I hated the final boss. She kept running / teleporting away and then coming back a few minutes later. I'm assuming this is to give the player time to regain some health but by that point I'd turned on god mode (thanks to mages and vampires and destroyed armor and having to replay the whole previous level due to losing the blue lich key ) so I was just irritated. Needless to say, I would get in a few whacks and off she'd go, then I'd run around looking for her to get in a few more whacks. Took forever but she finally keeled over. I might play the other two classes up to the point they are no longer separate paths but I don't think I'll do the finale again.
Yes, that's what I planned to do as well, but then I found out that the endings differ in each playthrough, so my curiosity got the better of me. *headdesk* However, I got the impression that the final battle was easier as the Conjurer. In that playthrough, you have the ability to summon animals, among other things, so you can send a Mimic (those creatures that look like chests) after her. It was rather gratifying to see such a tough creature giving *her* such a hard time for a change. Sure, it wasn't heroic, but the ends justify the means, I say. XD. The Wizard is fun because of the many spells he can cast, but his health is so poor, he practically dies even if I sneeze. *sigh*

Died over and over again in FTL. In Total War: Warhammer I got my woefully inadequate lines of Empire Spearmen and Swordsmen rekt by Chaos stacks with a ton of Chosen and Chaos Chariots that just plow through my poor infantry with ease and have Kholek Suneater and Archaeon right on my borders with full murderstacks, while my own economy can't support the upkeep of more than my already existing two mediocre armies, and even that is just barely.

And finally managed it, I ended Nox. It took forever, I had to save literally every three seconds and I had to play the ending twice because the game decided to crash even as it played the end cutscene, but I did it. Whew.
Now it's back to Inquisition. XD

Banner Saga
I'm currently at the final stage and trying to pierce Bellower's heart with a silver arrow on the 'hard' difficulty. It's a little bit annoying when you kill all the other dredge and then he comes along and kills you in one hit .
All my attempts have been unsuccessful at the moment . Oh well, I guess there's tomorrow.

Got the huge and ungainly rockets pointing in the right direction and burnt some. But even with 16 nuclear engines it's a big project to burn for a trajectory to Jool. Mainly due to that the rockets still weigh in at +1200 tonnes. So it's gonna be a multi-session thing. It's competing unsuccessfully with job and bed. Over and out.

I got annoyed with some players in GW2. In order to spawn the World Boss, pre-events have to be done. I was doing one such, a series of it. On the second last, no one except me was keeping back the mobs. Most of them were waiting at the staging area for the WB. I put in a request for help and some lackwit replied he was busy with his music and that it only took two to keep back the mobs. There was someone standing at the tip of a rock outcrop and that fellow was afk or didn't care, standing there like a decor, doing nothing all the while. It took my toon's death to get some of them moving in my direction and only one stayed to help. I got fedup and left before the finale. I should have left at the lackwit's reply and let them figure out why the pre-event was failing. I also regretted wasting a hero banner on the lot; it offers buffs and boons. I've been generous with the banners, dispensing it freely in every event. Now I'm not going to, I think they're taking me for granted since I'm getting to be a "familiar" face; that fellow with lots of banners. I'm going to plant it at pre-events. Those who do it with me, will get the additional boons. I'm going to shift my GW2 PT much later so I don't have to bother with that crowd. Which boss event was it?

Today I mostly yelled at Steam to download the early access version of Divinity: Original Sin 2 faster. So far it's not listening.
I'm definitely enjoying my second attempt at the first game more than my previous one. Partly because of some quality of life improvements made for the Enhanced Edition and partly because I'm skipping basically all the dialogue to get back to the things that are actually good.

I finally finished burning for the destination-Jool-trajectory, for both vessels. They are now in rather elliptical orbits around the sun, extending out to Jool's orbit, and arriving there at the same time that Jool will be in that vicinity. It will take them about three years to reach it. That acceleration concludes what we could call step 3, and ejected close to 400 tonnes of propellant from 16 nuclear rocket engines, reducing the spaceship to just the large lander, pulling some propellant tanks. Step 4, will consist of a number of course adjustments/changes during the long journey. The reason for one of them you can see here. The trajectory passes slightly above Jool's orbit. There is nothing I can do about that now, because it depends on our position in relation to the sun - remember, these are orbits around the sun. I need to have the sun on my side to speak. I will have that when passing Duna's (rough correspond to Mars, red circle) orbit. That is when I will tilt down my orbit and make other fine-adjustments.

Finished chapter 12 of SWTOR Knights of the Fallen Empire. This is the second time I played through this chapter. The first was on my JK several months ago, like last year I think. This time, I did it on my sith warrior and I still have no idea where the story is going. There's this feeling of disbelief...really? Really??? It's nothing to do with the lore but with the ultimate goal and intentions of a few chars. That's not say I don't enjoy the mystery.

So I clicked on this article about Darksiders 2:Deathinitive Edition on RPS and then on some link in comments and it resulted in me getting this thing from Nordic Games for free. So I downloaded it, started it and found out that apparently Apocalyptic was too easy so there's one more difficulty setting (you guessed it, Deathinitive).
So.
Still getting oneshotted by The Deposed King as level 21. Worst part is that sometime he'll hit you with his overhead smash even if you do everything right and him being textbook example of bullet sponge doesn't help. Once I got him to about 25% hp when he decided that overhead smash - whirlwind was old, so he did overhead smash, walked half the room towards me, whirlwind that I barely evaded and immediately followed by another overhead smash that was impossible to evade. Well. We'll see if my new level 21 possesed scythes (afted propper upgrade) will have to say something about it.
Other than getting randomly oneshotted by various side bosses, this morning I've obtained last ability, so onward to Forge Lands to complete all those previously unreachable locations. Damn my completionist OCD me.

I finally had some time, so I made those first course adjustments. These happened 141 days into the journey for one vessel and 149 days for the other, as they passed the orbit of Duna. I then accelerated time and moved forward to almost 2 years. They are now in the vicinity of Jool's orbit and I will look for a further course adjustment tomorrow, for the insertion into Jool's moon system.
Everything has gone well. The rockets work perfectly, the crews are in good mood and I have not made any mistakes.

Today, however, I have made quite a few mistakes. Luckily not any that I couldn't afford (propellant budget was very good, thanks to things having gone so well up until to now), or couldn't work myself out of. So the crews have worked hard at the insertion into Jool's moon system. Things got pretty messy for a while for the vessel destined for Vall. Luckily, the rockets arrived at Jool sufficiently staggered (28 days) to give me time to work out things without burning too much fuel, before it's time to focus on the other. After hours of juggling orbits and trajectories, the Vall rocket is now in an orbit aligned with Vall's orbit and will also have an encounter in 7 days. That's the time I intend to make a burn for going into an orbit around Vall. I think I have time to land too, before it's time to manage the other rocket's insertion. I left the game and closed it, because I've had it running for so long, switching between two ships, that I'm afraid of game crashing due to some memory leak or something. It's been very stable for me, but the stakes are high now and I feel it's better to reload every fourth hour or so. You never know what happens to the persistent game after a crash. I was going to restart the game after writing this, but I've changed my mind, now that I feel how tired I am. Tomorrow.

Well, I did it. It was scary and came with a knot in the stomach. And maybe I used a bit much fuel, being too careful. But careful is nice when it pays off. It was a very neat and gentle landing. I figured it close to perfectly. And I'm reasonably sure we got enough fuel to get back up into orbit, so all should be well. My very first manned landing on Vall, one of the moons of the gas giant Jool. I let the astronauts do a ton of science from the ship, then tentatively tested the ladder again (it worked back home on Kerbin, but gotta be sure), because I'm not attempting a landing on Laythe with the other vessel if it's all for nought. The crew is safe and fine where they are for now, and I'm going to pay attention to the other rocket.

I finally finished Talos Principle - sort of, since there are 3 different endings. The first one (basic) was kinda, well....basic, so I went back and did the second ending, which was much more interesting. That made me want to see the third ending, so I'm now going back to gather all the optional sigils (stars) that I didn't get the first time through. Needing a lot of help on that part, sometimes just to locate the darn things, nevermind figure out how to actually get to them. Hope that third ending is worth it.

Let's see....helped a vampire torture himself. Seems like a good idea. What could go wrong?
Also got my shoes shined and a minor shakedown from a kid who looked about 6 years old.
Finally ended up at a party where I got to throw paint on the wall and watch illusion dolphins swim up and down the pool.
Witchering is hard work. And weird.
