Still trying to give Marvel's Avengers a spin and, frankly, I get queasy playing it. Not to mention the Kamala Khan overdose. Never before had I have to deal with that much Kamala in my life and, frankly, I hope I never have to again. It's like being in a modern Marvel comic and that's not praise. I need to experience at least 5 strokes, to fall into that mental capacity and the controls are just absolutely emetic. I'd almost rather play Inquisition. Almost.

Yeah I always have a career mode on the go on Fifa though I don't normally have 3 on the g a tonce. I think it's mostly due to the nw emoes they've put in Fifa this year given they've given usa create a club mode and a revamped player career mod eas well. Only thing that I'm a little disappointed with is not getting to play with the new Hypermotion features given PC got the XB1/PS4 version of the game. I wish NBA 2k would revamp their player career and franchise modes, those are my favorite modes but they haven't really changed them in years Sort of wish I was more into soccer/football, I always hear about how great a game series the FIFA games are Yeah I don' terally pla ythe basketball ones as they'e rnot really my thing. I mostl yplay Fifa and F1. I d ooccasionally pla ytennis and snooke rgames though but not as much as Fifa and F1. Because quiet often if I'm no tplaying Bioware's games it's quite often due to the fact I'm playing Fifa o rF1 a tthattime as that's my usual distraction. TBH though People have been asking EA to revamp so,me of their modes for ages so it's been nice that over the last couple of years they've tried to do that.

With the factory, it doesn't look that bad, but the picture with all the furnaces is really what I didn't like when I played (you're a better lawn placement manager than me thought). You're lawns turn into this mess of machines and then there is using them, one by one. If the factory simplify this, it's great. And lol at Gust and Ack not tending animals. The factory is super nice. Picture of the interface in the spoilers. It's basically the Work table + all the tools. The tools and the numbers are how many tasks you can have going on with each tool. The max number of things you can do in one task is 999 units. Then you see how much time each item takes and what's used to make it. If you got the items to make it it takes less time. Like if I had Fabric then the Waterproof Cloth would take 21 min to make. Also you can just dump all your items into the factory inventory. No need to sort them. Then you max out your assembly table and it can take items from said inventory and then you can just chill while your work is done for you. Haven't got any screenshots of my lot in the first run but it was a mess. I find it really helps to occasionally just take a day off in game and reorganize the lot. Get similar tools together and set it up so you can easily just look over to see if everything is running smoothly. Upgrade tools if you can make better versions of them. Getting generators is also super nice, because some of the furnace stuff takes ages to make so you can just check how they are going without opening the menu. It's just a few clicks you skip, but it adds up. And in Acks defense he does grab up the poop and produce from the animals, he just wont pet them and I think he also refuses to refill their food (probably going off the logic that no food->no poop). I think Gust just ignores them all together. Because they are dirty, so they can't go near him.

Got one of the crew killed. Had no idea that you had to do three enemy camps without killing anybody for him to survive. Kinda sucks. Did NOT realize this was a stealth game!
Sure, ammo is kinda scarce so it's best to take out a few enemies with sniper shots. But, shit, if you miss, which I do all the time, they get alerted and that's that.
Other than that, making good progress. I'm in the desert now exploring the map. I hope there is no timer on getting everyone more water... I did give the girl some water. So, fingers crossed!
My favorite weapon is the shotgun. Great for one shotting ghouls. (OK, sometimes it takes three bullets for some reason...)
For a while I was swimming in ammo, then I spent a long section without a workbench and was down to two bullets on my pistol when I finished the last main mission. That was close!
Embarrassing sidenote: I have yet to figure out how to switch to the special weapon, lol. Guess I'll just keep using the same two weapons for the entire game. Fine by me!

WoTR - female PC WoTR is an isometric game but I'm impressed that Owlcat included ragdoll mechanics. I particularly like seeing demons getting blasted backwards and flopping / rolling over dead. A mob that fell off a building, screamed as he fell, hitting and rolling into the Lower City street. There's a particular emphasis on Mythic abilities too. I chose to get communal disease immunity and every time this spell is cast, it's a monumental moment. Totally unlike the casting of the more common spells.

Avengers Started off light. Figures the problem with having a 'side game' is that you have to remember how to fight and that is indeed the problem here so just started off with what ended up being a quick mission as it turned out...or was it a multi stage one? Actually this is the perfect segue into one of my biggest things about this game. Just can't figure out the mission structure and what is what in terms of missions. Of course it also seems like I have a very small pool of missions to choose from but I have not learned the difference between a mission that you have one objective in...and one you have 4. It did provide some problems but suppose more of that in a bit. Also continued on with the Future Imperfect Campaign...so yeah lets see here nothing much to report I guess story wise. I just find it curious that...holy crap I think I just figured out who he is ...but I have been making constant Supreme Leader jokes every time they mention him which is a lot 'quick Nat bat your eyes at his top lieutenant and get him to betray him!' Other than that lets see continuing to enjoy the combat and well I do wonder if this can be a model moving forward. This and God of War did do things like nintroducing not only powers and abilities but also combos and things you can do with 'basic attacks' to continue to spice things up. And well there was that reference they were looking at God of War 'for work' which is what inspired me to play it in the first place...as I said...and well also this is what the Witcher did this to. Just that a lot of people complain about how BioWare has done things with Inquisition and Andromeda 'what how dar we only have 8 abilities hot slotted we have learned like 20!' And I just wonder if this is another way around it to help continue to diversify the combat without adding more 'active abilities'...of course mages would be the main problem with this since they neccessitate a lot of abilities...and also maybe this would dictate strict classes again...but the idea has some curiosity merit. Though if they incorporate these ideas stay away from the companion 'AI' in Avengers. Ugh. Aside from those implications I am specifically really enjouing Hawkeye...I mean this shouldn't be a surprise but he does have a lot of abilities which dictate distance, support, and sniping, over getting up and close. Obviously he can but the Pulsar Arrows are nice for setting traps or shooting bots around corners or just setting off giant explosions at once and there was a moment to when I was above them and the rest of my companions, Widow, Kate Bishop, and America, they were struggling so I dropped a recovery arrow on them which recharged them enough so they can continue the fight. Also it was cool because I shot at least two bots out of mid air, one of them while trying to bridge a chasm. Minor comments...well its weird because I cannot seemingly install any of the skins with the other characters with them...well kind of they aren't unlocked. When I switched to Kate later I did notice Hawkeye seemed to be in the gear I put him in and even using his specials more often...so that is interesting. Also discovered that it seems like higher quality gear can be 'upgraded' more. I have now seen as high as ten. And well switched to Kate and once more I do really appreciate just how different each hero feels from the other. Kate and Hawkeye could have easily been clones of one another but Kate is more of an upclose brawler...her power set is more tailored for that kind of stuff, getting close to an enemy, hitting them, moving across the battlefield...not laying traps or what not. Her sword strikes are even faster and seem to be doing more damger, the grip is that weird reverse gripped thing that entertainment seems to do for a *lot* of women (OK fine just Ahsoka but its a fair comment! ) And most surprisingly...this even applies to the Dual Sense controller even. Her haptics and when she is drawing and holding a bow feels very different to how Hawkeye does. More energetic and it is kind of interesting...like she can't hold it back at full draw as easily. But yeah this is one aspect of the game I am surprised at just how much thought and effort the devs put in at all levels for this game and again wonder what BioWare can do with with a game which is *meant* for the PS5. \\Edit: Oh and let me just add real fast after praising this game relentlessly...the one thing that is getting tiring. Add more enemies. Add more dynamic enemies. They have mentioned a Kree invasion give us Kree give us Hyrdra maybe even throw in a Skrull or two...that'd be fun.

LoTRO I have over 25 hours on my Beorning. Probably closer to 30 by now. I did all the deeds and the prologue in Ered Luin too. It's the shortest starter area thought. Then went back to Bree to do Volume 1, Book 1 of the Epic story. Which went fast when that's all you do. I fought some turned Ranger and undeads while running after the bad guys. That's about it. There is a big patch tomorrow, adding the new class and LI* changes that comes with November expansion. I suspect there will be a lots of people in the low levels and people complaining about the LI changes. *Legendary Item. SWTOR I somehow finished all the quests in the Migrant Guild area, despite barely playing this. I turned those in and gained 5 levels. That seemed a lot for just rested XP. Turns out there is a double XP event going right now. I should probably focus a bit more on this so I can level up my Smuggler to 75, or at least the 50s so I can get the Scoundrel only good AOE... Also, my Scoundrel said " Everyone says they look I look good in black" to someone...and he's in fact, all in black.

I played Disciples: Liberation and I had fun! It's a little King's Bounty, a little Disciples, a little HoMM. You get to train units to add to your retinue, to help you in battle, in addition to companions. Companions are fully voiced and romanceable. Seems to be a requisite in games nowadays. Other than that, you get the usual, make choices, earn influence with factions, unlock more advanced units, base building and resource gathering. Resource gathering works not in turns, like in previous Disciple games, or HoMM, as roaming the map is real time, but time based. So over one hour of real time, you gather, say 500 stone etc. Quantity relies more on the amount of quarries and sawmills etc. that you have occupied on the map. Since resource points are usually guarded, you'll have to fight for them and, much like in previous Disciples games and HoMM.
I probably shouldn't make this a review. It's been a while since I enjoyed a good Disciples game, but since they all use to tie a good narrative into its gameplay, this re-imagining of the franchise seems to be to my liking. I know a lot of you don't like TBS combat, which admittedly is the core of Disciples: Liberation gameplay, but it's not particularly difficult, the units are fun and I think that at least downloading the 3.3GB demo on Steam to check it out, isn't too bad.
I'm buying this. I really liked the Demo.

Finally figured out how to use the alternative mod launcher so now my 400+ mod play-through can happen. Some stand out modifications I will be running are Covert Infiltration, A Better Advent, and Playable Aliens.
I'm ready to liberate Earth with my ragtag band of misfits.

Goddamn it, game! Another crew member got shot and the nice girl from the mountains hates us now because I killed some enemies before I even knew the story there at the beginning. They spotted me. Autosave was past the point of fixing it. Now they'll probably all die in that valley.
Fuck this shit!
After she told.me everything and asked me not to kill her people I did NOT. Took me forever to stealth take out every single one of them.
Like when I got the first companion killed I needed to do the entire map in stealth... This is starting to piss me off...
You have ONE manual save and a few autosaves. Once you save over it you're done.
So I basically messed up 2 of the 3 maps/stories.
Great. Just great.
The storytelling is REALLY good. That's why it hurts even more to fuck it all up. Ugh.
Edit: OK I found out that I actually fucked up EVERYTHING because the third companion left to help somebody rebuild the area. I did not realize this was the bad outcome...
So having read a spoiler about how to get the good ending, I think I'm already fucked. Depends on how many people are left. Grrreat. This game has so many different triggers. Don't kill anybody from factions that aren't generic bandits sounds simple enough until you save at a bad time and there is no way to get out of the situation unnoticed. Like when I saved after knocking out a guy, but then the others found him and they immediately spotted me. I ran past most of them but did kill a few. Sorry, now you're fucked no matter what you do. This game is HARSH.

Tales of AriseToday I embarked on my new calling of becoming The Great Liberator. So, I liberated the people of the neighboring kingdom. In their joy and happiness, the generous souls gifted me with a shiny new armor. Oh happiness! Oh joy! I couldn't stop crying. I was still salivating over it, when our intrepid leader snarked that I really needed something blue to pull off the look. So now I wear a blue rag around my neck.

Yeah that's kind of partially what I meant by it being a bit grindy in that you'e rfacing the asme type of enemies again and again. I enjoy the game but it does get a bit too repetitive after a while. The story characters and everything else surrounding it is great and very well done and tbh I like it for that but the whole grinding searching and unlocking the vaults fighting the same enemies tim eand again can get repetitive especially if you'er struggling t olevel up characters you'er not that good at using. Fo rexample I reall ystruggle wit hIron man yes he is quite powerful but without his Hulkbuster ability he's a bit of a glass cannon in that he dishes out a lo tof punishment but can' t take much himself which can be a problem in some of the quests most notably in the reassembl ecampaign where you have to stand your ground agains twaves of enemies on your own while Jarvis hacks a door. It probably would have been bette rif you had you rcompanions wit hyou but no they're off doing something else. TBH Kamala Hulk and even Black Widow feel kind of Super human compared to him

Watched a bit of the game play. I wasn't impressed by the sequel; Life Is Strange 2 which I didn't buy so I hope the third is as good as the first or near it. No rating on it yet.

SWTOR I tried to play my Sage a bit and I totally forgot the "rotation" and using my armor bubble so it was a bit ugly fighting trash mobs on Ilum. I don't think I'm enough in the mood to make use of the double XP event to level cap my Smuggler and Sage. LoTRO The Harvestmath festival is here. I did most of the quests available on my Beorning and I got a badger cosmetic pet with the tokens. I might get the black cat too. I also did the Ale Association recruitment mission as it start at the Party Tree where most of the festivities are held. This including running around the Shire totally drunk to drink more beers/ales at every taverns. It almost made me sick by how blurry the screen was. I might be regretting it. The only thing I skipped was the maze stuff, but you have to do 10 "tasks" per day for the "meta" achievement so it just a bit of variety for tomorrow (all the quests are repeatable). I'm not going to farm this festival like crazy, I don't want all the cosmetic, just some pets and maybe the Elk mount. I don't really need it on my Beorning because they have a skills that is the equivalent of running at horse speed anyhow, but Elk sound thematic on a nature lover character if I ever get tired of running around as a bear. The new class, the Brawler, also dropped. I tried it a bit, but I feel it needs a bit more love. Animations are nice thought. I made a Hobbit first, but it looked funky to play (small, combat barks not really fitting, etc). I made a Dwarf next and that looked much better.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I finally gone through the time skip Eldegard dang you! It's Anders all over again! The redesign feel so. Strange. Some are good, some are awful. What I'm surprised about is how many women are actually... Dressed decently. Long skirts, trousers (why not for Byleth, tho!?) ... Only a few have been hit with the horny Japanese waifu stick. It really felt as if those were added as a strict quota thing.

Dressed decently. Long skirts, trousers (why not for Byleth, tho!?) Yeah, I don't know why they didn't do the usual and had to give f!Byleth different clothes than m!Byleth (which I actually really like).

Yeah, I don't know why they didn't do the usual and had to give f!Byleth different clothes than m!Byleth (which I actually really like). I basically played the entire game with the gala dress on. Absurd that the ball clothes are the only one that don't leave uncovered legs. Even all the dlc/plus clothes all have short skirts. Why not give some choice!? I really hope devs had heard how little the F! Bylet costume is liked.

My first impressions on Mass effect Legendary : I really like the improvements they have made with the gameplay. It feels way smoother. I am particularly impressed by the new sound of weapons, I don't remember them being that unique before. The graphics changes are quite noticeable, despite still being on xbox one, compared to the original mass effect 1. New environments on planets are both gorgeous and unique, it has become very cool to ride and shot with the Mako. The new photo mode is really a nice addition. I also like the fact that they added the english language for the first game, it wasn't the case before. The only minor thing negative to me so far is the lighting of the protagonist for darkest skins. What happened ? You don't see very well any facial feature whether in the game or with cinematics, as if they forgot to put light on Shepard's face compared to other characters. Everytime in a quite dark environment, and Shepard's face almost becomes like an eclipse. I had to change for a lighter skin color. On Anderson's face there was zero problem. Hoping a patch fixing that one day. But they really did a good job on the first episode.

WoTR - female PC Chose the angel mythical path. I'm pretty impress with the angelic powers. I think I could have forgotten about the golden dragon powers in the male PT. As in, I forgot to check out the available powers as the toon progress. The angle mythical quests are a lot less of a hassle than the golden dragon. The golden dragon quest is basically three fetch quests, more to determine the toon's nature /character, while the angel mythical quest is tied in to the main plot in which a notable NPC can be saved or lost. I found out this is likely one of the steps to the ascension ending because I made a choice at a certain confrontation. It's a different one from the golden dragon PT. I was able to save the NPC. I've to say the demonstration of angelic powers is impressive. If this was done 3D and not isometric, it would have been even more impressive; you'd believe your toon is a god. Anyway, I think one of the quests is bugged. This has to do with one of the allied captains taking off to look for something. However, he must be spoken to in Act II in which he will give a quest, opening a location which the player can go to in Act V. However, there is no note in the journal to speak to this captain in Act III, nor is there a msg saying this quest failed when Midnight Fane is completed at end of Act III, so this location is not revealed. I read that this bug is supposed to be fixed. By rights, even if the player didn't speak to the captain in Act III, the clues to his whereabout should be available in Act V. There isn't any. So this is a quest chain that is not fixed even though the devs said it is.

LoTRO I did another daily meta festival missions batch (you need to do 10), bought the Elk mount and then I moved on to do some normal questing and advance the storyline on my bear lady. I also went back to my Brawler for a bit after I discovered weaponsmith made their "weapon" and made a new one via my Beorning. But I think I'm going to stick with the bear. Because hitting people with paws is more fun than doing it with fists. Baldur's Gate III The early access got a new patch. With new stuff. I played a bit with the new class (Sorcerer), but I'm not sure if I'm going to go any further. I don't want to burn out playing the same section over and over again. My Time at Portia Since the little discussion on the game in this thread, I reinstalled it and today I made a character. Then did a few things on the first day and deleted her to "fix her". I think I'm going to try all the voices to see which one I prefer. I also forgot that fighting cost stamina and I ended up against a level 4 Lama at level 2 with 0 stamina left...and no consumables to increase it except some salade sauce that slowly regen it. It most not have tasted great, but it was enough to kill it. I kinda like kicking things, picking stuff up, mining and timbering in this game, so the low stamina level in early game was always an annoyance to me.

WoTR - female PC, Angel Mythical Path Ok, this is interesting. Very interesting..... .... the secret ending doesn't freaking matter if you just want your toon to ascend! I think this is solely for the angel mythical path. I don't know about the azata path but I'm thinking the legitimate ascension offer isn't open to them but I could be wrong. If you do everything right on the angel mythical path which isn't hard to do, your toon is granted ascension. The secret ending is the alternative path to let your toon and your companions to ascend by force. Yep, you bulldoze your way up. The companions will become heralds, your toon becomes a god . There's one other thing too regards the bulldoze ascension which I will not mention as it's major spoilery. The bulldoze ascension is a definite fit for players playing evil toons since no deity in the heavens will welcome an evil being but will be most welcome in the shadow realms though no doubt the other evil lords will not be happy. Anyway, I saved another notable NPC who was captured by the demons. I was supposed to return his heart and I when I saw it. It looks like a piece of heart shape candy instead of an actual heart. Edit. Image of the change. I had another surprising outcome for a companion Daeran. He lives! Wow, it looks like I really did badly for the male golden dragon PT.

I kinda like kicking things, picking stuff up, mining and timbering in this game, so the low stamina level in early game was always an annoyance to me. Getting a Massage Chair from Paulie is a game changer in the early game regarding stamina. It's pretty pricy ~5000-6000g depending on the market, but it's worth it. It restores 3 stamina points a second while you sit in it, so early in the game you can fill up your stamina a couple of times by taking a short rest sitting down. Then later in the game it gets a bit less powerful, but still really nice. Best way to save for it would probably be fishing. Another way which gets more useful in the later game is drying apples on a crafted drying rack. Don't need to refuel the drying rack, the sun does that and if you use Aroma apples you can get a pretty big batch going so even less interacting with it. Dried apple slices restore 10% of your max stamina, so it's handy early game and amazing late game if you've gotten a bit of a stockpile going. And since I wish I'd known it earlier, there is a setting for Game Speed in the options menu, where you can speed it up and slow it down. Had way more fun with the game when it was on it's slowest speed, since I had more time to mess around in the day. Does mess up a little with festival days, especially speeches and stuff, but regular days are much more chill. Then late game when you're settled in nicely it's nice to be able to speed through the day. Also yay Portia.

Life Is Strange - True Colours Watched a bit of the game play. I wasn't impressed by the sequel; Life Is Strange 2 which I didn't buy so I hope the third is as good as the first or near it. No rating on it yet.
I watched all of the main story and a good chunk of the DLC (Steph's) story, and I have to say it looks good.
Certainly better than 2, IMO. Not worth the current price of admission to me, though, so I'm holding off.
Maybe if they drop a 10% discount on Christmas. I'd certainly be rather tempted then... But I also want the Remasters while at it, so it's an 80EUR price tag. Part of why I'm so reluctant, it's pretty steep.

I'll need to get myself a fishing rod and be lucky with what I catch to afford that early (aka get a king fish early). I already slowed down the time. I really like that feature.
