Playing ReDriver 2 (the fan made port of Driver 2). I'm pretty sure that back in the day I set cop difficulty to hard, I did have it set to normal, but eventually put it to easy difficulty. I immediately noticed that the player is much less likely to get rekted on corners with cop difficulty set to easy. I'll probably keep it there, I don't have the patience for this s*** anymore. Haha. The last mission I cleared involved disabling and searching four cars within the time limit. This might be my favourite level, its basically a demolition derby. Driver 2 has a video replay feature, I eventually had the bright idea to hit begin playback and start recording on the xbox app at the same time, it totally worked. I just wish I thought of it sooner, earlier I had demolished one of the cars with a delivery truck, I would've liked to make a GIF of that, maybe I can recreate it sometime.

Borderlands 2
Back to Pandora I go. Not quite feeling the game yet but maybe it was because I was dead dog tired for some reason to so maybe it was a good thing it didn't feel like we were getting a lot done. But we did get to Santuary after a rather neat vehicle introduction/ segment. I was the gunner and those rockets on that thing are quite powerful. A bit concerned what would happen if it runs out of health or what not but no complaints.
Got to Sanctuary. My wife took me on a tour of all the sites around. For some reason I kinda wanna shoot Marcus but he is...ok. Dr. Zed is an interesting case study going on here. He asked us to help him with some surgery which then involved me meelee striking the guy to death to get some stuff...oops. And he also mentioned the Dr. Mercy which actually has a medical liscence yet is apparently someone who will do a lot of shootie shoot. Roland also seems fun but we need to find him and the mechnanics plan to make the city fly worked about as well as one would expect...though i was hoping there for a second.
I do love the humor in this game, there have been moments here and there but the best was Claptrap was trying to get you to go find 'his stash' and was giving you a lot of different objectives Epic NPC man style that was just getting more grandiose...and it was just right next to him. *snort*.
This game is really giving me Anthem vibes.
Farcry 6
Didn't do too much started to go around and do some of the side stuff. This game has the typical Farcry staple of pretty much having a major land battle could break out on any time and on any road or what not. Which though so far I have been handling them despite their grindyness. Trying out the sniper has been an interesting experience given that this game seems to have odd troubles with aiming might make it non viable. Also because of it do not have any silenced weapons which is a trouble. I mean I tried sniping...well before the sniper...on a base...and it did not work out. Though I was able to be mostly stealthy on a later base so progress.
What is most weird though is this game seems to have the same basic 'climbing' mechanics as Inquisition. There was this Rebel Stash on top of a mountain thenafter a few minutes of looking around I figured out you had to 'jump' your way up it...just like some of the shard puzzles in DA. So yey.
It is a bit weird to I checked the map and it does seem like there is a lot to do so that is a good thing but in the end on the first island there is a level 1 area and a level 4 area. The next mission is also level 4. Now on the main land there is level 2 and level 3 areas. This would make sense because loopig back to do areas is a bit of a thing I like doing and it gives one an excuse to show changes in environment...but the next quest is still level four and does not lead me to the mainland.
Kingoms of Amalur Re Reckoning
Or it should just be called Reckoning considering there does not seem to be a lot that was remastered. This seems more like a straight port TBH. Anyways though playing a female Verani named Zahra. Trying to figure out how to build her and trying to vaguely remember my first PT which I think was maybe more in your face and forgot...actually curious to see if stealthing around would have more merit this time.
The other big issue is they did all the DLC and I guess there was a lot of armor...more then could possibly fit. This has led to some issues early on with me destroying a lot of gear and stuff and the bow looks kinda weird out of the chest to. Also seems I got two DLC quest liness to explore...at least that is what I am guessing they are.

OblivionI finally joined the Arcane University! Thank you fast travel (horse speed is so slow even with mod). I forgot how pretty the Gold Coast was and I had an issue with Skingrad worldspace. I had to deactivate/reactive/rebuildBashedPatch for the "animals in cities" mod to fix it. I actually just wanted to deactivate it, I somehow reactivated it before rebuilding the bashed patch. I didn't keep the Finger at the Mountain spell. The way things are going, I'm going to be casting the same novice spells at level 20 (I'm level 8/9). They eat way too much magicka, it seem my Magic rebalancing mod is on the " magic is OP, don't use it" category. I think something might be interfering with it, because I have way higher Wisdom (over 60) on this char yet my magicka seems to regen way slower. I also tried to make a spell, a measly 20 health drain.. But I couldn't because I need level 75 in Mysticism to make it. , my currently novice health drain spell is 3 health for 6 seconds (aka 18 health total). At least I was able to make a Night-eye shirt constant effect (I have a toggle for active night-eye). No more casting that every 15s in a dungeon eating all my magicka. I found nice boots, heavy armor boots, that grant 25 feathers...A bit annoying, because my solution to "no armor" in dungeon is to sneak around and try to get sneak attacks with my dagger or spells. But the heavy boots, most enemies hear that. Sometimes from quite far away too. Anyhow, combat is rather easy right now. It could be because my "leveling fix" mod which stop bandit to gear up as you level is working. Only the "boss" are wearing upgraded stuff (the last one had Dwemer armor) and not every pieces. Everyone else is still in iron with sometimes one piece of steel. Downside: my finances aren't improve super fast. Upside: they have all crap gear so they don't hit that hard.

So had a better day yesterday got a fair bit done including some story stuff and my son joined me for the last hour and we powered through heaps of side mission stuff. I managed to land another plane but also crashed one so was good to have my son to do the piloting for 3 or 4 other plane missions. On the game itself I am actually having a lot of difficulty engaging in the story, not sure why but it just doesn't grab me and make me keen to do the story missions even though they are more interesting than the side missions. The Division I found that the story was more interesting and really wanted to take the enemy groups down and finish the story but also the combat being a new game was far superior IMO. However I am enjoying the combat but it fairly repetitive in it's nature and talking to my son we actually both prefer playing solo as you can use the AI squad and yourself to take down 4 people at once. With just the two of us it actually makes it harder but it is more fun playing together and chatting etc. Hopefully today we can get some extra time in and maybe push the story further. Yay landed another plane Me and the crew Me and my son at some salt plain, supposedly the biggest in the world according to the game but I do not believe it Had to kill enemies at a party resort, to intimidate people not to go there. As evidenced below some kept partying, hey yeah don't worry about the person with big guns and a Gilly suit wandering around.

AC Origins Went to Alexandria to meet Caesar. Then came the mission to rescue his emissary. Bayek said he would run interference. He's down within 5 mins. 🤣 Meanwhile, I ran Aya on the rooftops and shook lose the shield soldiers by going round and about. Then she said to bring the emissary back to Caesar. Huzzah. *sarcastic* Waited for a good time when two soldiers moved into a building, away from the entrance. Dropped to the ground with the emissary, then she said it's better to get a horse. Sure, the horse's butt is showing in the stall nearby because most of it was blocked off by the devs' wall. What horse were you talking about Aya? Decided to just walk out. There's only one sentry standing there so I simply kept walking despite the alert signals. Fortunately no soldiers went after Aya and the guy was delivered. What's with the stupid blocked wall, devs????!!!! 😡

Borderlands 2I still am not quite feeling the game yet but there is something that makes me want to play it at least a little bit. Partially I suppose I do not think my mood contributed to me wanting to play it too much last night so here we are today. And well I also feel like such a third wheel on this game because wifey is level 30 and she does not give me any communication when we are going to get into it...not that I have mentioned this to her yet...but I just start hearing random gun noises and its like 'oh where is the...oh you are way over there. Ok'. As an aside I really wish this game did the whole Halo thing where you would automatically transport to your squadmate if they got too far. Sure might be annoying but I think it would save me a headache or two. Also makes me want to buy the MCC with her and see what she thinks of that once BL2 dries up. The big surprise from today is that 'Firehawk' turned out to be A. Female. and B. not actually a bad guy. There is hope for this game yet. Also there was this weird puzzle little thing where we had to use a gaiser to get to certain locations around the map. Also I do find it cool that certain guns are good for certain things so you do have to equip them and keep it in mind. Not sure how to tell the difference before you shoot other then reading it go 'resisted resisted' and then having to switch weapons. But there we go. Trying to find a medium of which guns to like, right now rocking two snipers and a pistol. The snipers remind me of some of the Promethean Weapons from Halo 4. And well missions...biig one other then the Firehawk stuff is Dr. Zed ended up having us go and do blaster e tech weapon stuff which was...cool laser guns pew pew...but also an lmg which went through a lot of ammo. Might be nice because the trouble with these games is that sometimes pulling the trigger does get a little tiring. Far Cry 6 So little micro sharks can swim up your butt and bite you when you are swimming around. I guess this game just constantly surprises me. It shouldn't, this is not my first Far Cry game, but man has it been awhile. Also this game is weird to since it has been awhile since I have played an FPS. Car perspective and riding around on a horse in first person was...again weird. So the higher level area proved to be as chaotic as I was expecting it to be. I basically kind of ended up just focusing on the missions. Sort of. First area surprised me with a big arse tank and Dani mentioned he could steal it...and I died...next attempt...died. Then I just sniped the target and then sniped everyone from the ridge. But apparently it wasn't an area to clear. Next mission involved blowing up an AA gun so Juan could provide air support to us. I essentially just supremoed the thing and ran away...left the gator behind which is officially a thing. The Rise of LibertadI must admit that the whole schtick this game had of starting a story mission with one of Juan's rules only to have Clara say it right then is super annoying. The quote in question was also quite concerning 'a revolutionary is not fearless, a revulutionary is feared'...again rough translation. Which is, I suppose accurate, but also puts me in mind for some bad ju ju and in a more direct sense...Far Cry 4. I must say there might be hope for this game yet. A lot of the thing really did seem to be tutorializing so now that we have had an actual story mission well we had things to do. In this case breaking Castillos blockade of ships to get through there. Other then me still sucking at this game and its stealth and being imited in my tools right now it was neat. Bit of a big battle. Juan ran air support. Then I saw two helicopters take off. And then...yeah shot a canon whichs aim was ass but nice set piece overall. Then of course Clara actually made it out where she might not be as idealistic as she presents. And well not sure if this is a good thing. But she talked about even if they win that would just start a endless cycle of violence and war, tyranny, etc. And she would be fighting a long time...to break the cycle. Of course this is also the logic that Daenarys Targaryan used so we will see where this goes. But then we got one more look at Castillo. Interesting character. He captured one of the rebels and started torturing him. Said he wouldn't break. Gave his son a gun to put him down. Son refused...and then he made him watch as his other henchman beat him to death. He is big on choice I see. The GuerillaSo, Dani does not decide to go to Miami and becomes an official part of the Fuck Castillo brigade.
The game also opens up and I think I like the set up. Three over reigions with little regions in between. Kind of like a meld of Far Cries in the past along with Vahalla. I am impressed and the structure is good because you throw in a little Dragon Age Origins (gather allies for one final battle) and you got the makings of a good game play loop that is familiar to the series as well as offering something new.
But then there are special forces which Castillo will send after you if you get into too much trouble. We will see if this is just a copy of the annoying mechanic from 5 or if it is a little less invasive this time. Speaking of which I did try out to approach a guard with weapon not drawn to see if he would react...he did...but it did take him awhile to do so so partial success I guess.

AC Origins I finished the main story. The last boss fight is a bit annoying but not terrible. Some of the regions are not opened and there is a list of quests. Not going to do them. Nor am I interested in the DLCs. I'm done with Origins. What do I think of the story? It's ok. There's hardly any surprises or twists and turns. It's predictable. I like the way how the Assassin symbol came about. 👍 I find it peculiar Bayek just toss the artifact into a chest at home. I'll presume the artifact, unlike the other Isu artifacts, does not activate nor exude any influence unless someone is holding it. I don't suppose Kassandra will come for it. I do find it a bit odd that she didn't pick it up when she went to Egypt to find Darius for her new blade. But then, Origins popped before Odyssey so I suppose the writers could find a reason for it. What do I think of Bayek and Aya? I don't have any strong feelings about them. They're ok. I don't find Aya's sections troublesome. I enjoyed the ship battles. Edit. Now what shall I play next? 😄 I'll go back to Valhalla to finish the Challenge of the Gods and River Raids. Too bad there's no NG+ for Valhalla. The devs or the higher ups are apparently not interested in implementing it. Too bad, since I feel like experiencing Valhalla's story again from the beginning but no NG+, forget it.

Skyrim
The Racemenu mod was update to the latest anniversary version. That means I can add body tattoos to my Skyrim character. They can even glow in the dark! And with all those awesome mods to make your character look the way you want, the next TES game (or even Starfield/Fallout) will so feel "dated" in comparison.
I also restarted, even if you can redit your character via using the console. My Skyrim character is not going to use magic like I was originally planning. Oblivion is taking care of my "magical girl" needs right now.

SWTOR
My smuggler Liya Soral finished her quest on Belsavis and is now on Hoth again for a rescue mission. She didn't make friends on Hoth, because she tried to help a criminal escape to get the information.
My jedi sage Lyana Asani tried to rescue senator Grell, but he was beyond saving. A sith had tortured him. His last wish was, that his daugther Nadia would train to become a jedi and so Lyana has now a padawan. She and Nadia are now on Voss to get the mystics interested in their cause.

The Darius DLC is based on Aya saying to Bayek that the hidden blade she's giving him was used to kill Xerces I centuries ago too. Origins did pop before Odyssey so no way the writers could factor Kassandra's lifetime quest in. I don't expect Darius to give his blade to Kassandra but he could have made another for her when she visited him. Her blade is different, thinner like the end of a small spear, unlike the blade of a dagger. If they're going to add in a bit more of Odyssey, then the visit to Egypt where she would see her son and received her hidden blade. A brief adventure with Darius, perhaps to get another artifact (not Bayek's) before she set off again on her never-ending journey.

So yesterday just went through the motions in Ghost Recon, nothing memorable springs to mind except for me stuffing up a don't be detected mission by being stubborn and wanting to kill all the guards rather than just be tactical and kill a few and sneak in to a place. Only took 5 attempts to then give in and kill two guards instead of all 7 of them. Oh the highlight was probably sneaking the drone in to spy on a corrupt politician having "sexy" times with an escort. Abbreviated/abridged transcript: Escort: "Oh what's in here, something big I hope, oh something small" Politician: "Well I stole this wooden leg off a cat which is big" Escort: Makes pleasured noises. Anyway moving right along!!! Picture of said mission above: Sometimes you just have to stop and admire the view

Been playing Rebel Galaxy outlaw. Been wanting to try getting back into some space games but this one isn't doing it. Story isn't doing much. And the gameplay is a real basic loop. Essentially pick up mission from npc on station, fly from point to point, getting interrupted by nonsense along the way and then blow something up. Rinse repeat.

SkyrimThe Racemenu mod was update to the latest anniversary version. That means I can add body tattoos to my Skyrim character. They can even glow in the dark! I'm still on Oldrim, and don't use racemenu, so no glow in the dark body tattoos for me. I'm even using an old version of Enhanced Character Edit, because the newer ones require the Dawnguard DLC, which I don't have. Though I'm nearly ready to put Skyrim away for another year. i.imgur.com/l404ziS.png i.imgur.com/gqIe0ZK.png Dragon Surfing.

Far Cry 6Man I gotta get my Far Cry mo jo back. I don't think I ever truly appreciated how different this franchise is between either Ghost Recon or Assassins Creed...and in both of those you have plenty of tools in order to be able to succeed even against sometimes heavy odds. But here its just you against bases full of soledados. Which I think there could be better tools to go and do this sort of thing but I am such low level and low level of equipment makes life a living hell. Took me three times to clear out the weather station. The highlight of which, if you can say it, is when they essentially called in air support against my gator...which then got me in its sights. So yeah. And well speaking of Ghost Recon I am beginning to get the nasty feeling this game has the 'infinite reinforcements' thing from Wildlands. Yeah. Stealth is key just hard to be stealthy. Other note from the whole thing is that the whole reason I was there was to find a computer which was intimated could present for why Castillo and his military was there. Well no real computer was found. Of course I didn't really investigate after the fact either as much as I should have so maybe I will correct that over sight. Next up only took me one time to clear out the AA gun. Meet the MonterosThey quickly did everything to establish Camilla's bad ass creed. Having her go through the guards like a hot knife through butter. And she then threw a knife right at Dani...who then caught it.
Of course from there we got into another long and drawn out fire fight. With more air support. I rather like the health system...hmm should talk about that non spoilery...but there were machine guns you could go to blow stuff up but as always those can be a double sided barrel. Still it was a calculated risk when a jeep showed up and then latr on blasting away against a helicopter. Tough fight but I was careful and powered through.
Then quite sure it glitched out. Ubisoft and their horses, not even once.

Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines
Felt kind of nostalgic and it is nearly a year I think, since I played that game last, so I thought, I start a new playthrough. The game is always installed, so all I had to do, is figure out a skin, I want to use. I play Malkavian again (of course) and I really don't like the female malk skin. So I used this one: It's made for Toreador, but I just changed the names and dropped the files in the malk folder.
My girl is in Santa Monica and helped Mercurio getting back teh astrolite. SHe talked to a few thin bloods along the way and promised one of them, E., to help him find his girlfriend Lily. She couldn't resist scamming another one, since he was so gullible. SO she sold him a wooden stake and some other items with the promise, that would help him become human again. I know - evil, but hey, she is a vampire.
After that she retrieved some werewolf blood in the local clinic, before humans could start tests with it and now she is trying to find out, what happened to Lily.
I haven't visited the Asylum yet, I might do the side quests first and then the main quest in more or less one go (for one side quest - Knox and the asian vampire - you have to go to the Asylum). Looking forward to the Ocean House - still one of the most creepiest levels in a video game for me.
I love, how all the npcs react to you being a Malkavian - here Mercurio (he looks a bit beaten up there, but he is fine later):

fylimar The puppy face is legit Malk. I'm not sure what kind of Toreador would wear that shirt thought... OblivionI went back to my horse to fetch the other fill soul gem I had looted and I made shoes with feather (20 pts) on them to replace my noisy heavy boots. I also made "pants on fire". My magic rebalance mod change fire shields to deal damage when you are attacked. I put that on a pair of black pants (it's like 4 pts because I only had a low grade soul gem). I also remade my detect life spells so it has a larger radius and duration. One annoying thing, I can make potions that grant farther and longer detect life spells at 30 Alchemy than I can craft detect life spells at 35 Mysticism... Now I need to go test that out...

ALthough the otehr armors look more regal and would fit a Torrie. But in my opinion, Malks are not those crazy persons that can't dress proper. My Malkavian in our pen & paper game is very subtle and she is even the spokesperson for our group, because she is charismatic and know a lot about vampire etiquette. That's why I don't like the original Malk armors (female and male both), they are too much in your face.

Better day in Ghost Recon yesterday, couple of failed missions mainly because I didn't know they were missions and one success that turned into a shit storm after finishing the mission. Basically trying to leave the area an alert went out and killing numerous (at least 50) Unidad troops and shooting down 8 Helicopters and with me out of ammo and the whole squad down I just stood up and ate a missile from an Apache Helicopter. Had a really good mission on a sort of mountain top where there was a huge church where I completed it completely by stealth working my way through lots of Unidad soldiers, killing any who may have spotted me. Then when I retrieved what I was after made my way back again tactfully disposing of a couple of troops to my helicopter which O had landed discretely at the edge of the church. Parking on a fence, seems clever but I couldn't re-access the Helicopter. Awaiting a firey death
