SWTORFinished Tatooine on my BH and then did some of the Spring Festival on her, but she's too low level for some of the weeklies on other planets. The farm is on Dantooine of course. Oh and I fell to my death in a well to get an achievement. I still think the Sarlacc is the best version of this in the game .
Also, we started to unravel Mako's backstory. Oh and Gault joined the ship, but I want to space him. I'm going to take him on mission since I can't, he hates it.
KoTOR300 years earlier, I got to Dantooine too. Winter Star (it's a randomly generated name by the character creator random button believe it or not) assaulted a Sith base, stole some code and became buddy with an old mercenary Mando to steal the ship of his boss to leave Taris...and Bastilla brought us to super boring Dantooine full of Kath hounds. It haven't changed much in 300 years fyi.
I got a lightsaber now and started to slaughter every kath hounds on the planet. They attack on sight, not exactly a personally choice. Although, Mission quite hate them by how she aggro them from very far away. Also, this game feels harder than I remember, maybe I last played it on easy.

Ghost Recon Breapoint.
Back to Auroa. Its weird because I...yeah pretty sure I did this mission on my own recently but it went very different. Hunting down Harpy and dealing with all of the jammers to deal with the drones on the ground. Now first off it would be nice, if you wanted, to mae the entire part of this mission optional since it took me awhile to hunt everything down. Of course I imagine this could be because I am still on 'exploration' mode or something so that could be. But then the big difference here is not only did we have to run down the jammers but also rescue a bunch of Outcasts culiminating on a raid on their LT. Fun little thing but bit grindy.
Harpy of course was quite the interesting fight with this all in mind. Was able to sneak up to the tower no problem and then after the drones blew up this gave me great sight lines onto the rest of the Sentinel Sniper positions and then the rest of them. With the Outcast squad joining in as well they drew most of the fire, eventually, which let me snipe them pretty safeluy and just swinging in and patiently picking them off. Harpy himself also just walked right into my scope so I got him in one shot.
But that was all the wifey wanted to do so I pushed it and continued on with Deep State on my own.
And hunted down the...bird scientist...with the punk daughter.
Despite the ridicilious set up actually had a bit of fun. It was also a case of just one objective then another, then another, then another.
But kind of neat doing some running and gunning. SInce I was kind of on a time restraint did a lot of running and gunning and got real aggressive with the team so had a bunch of neat moments. First with a drone hunting down said scientist brought out the missile launcher and set it where I thought it would go...and it went there...so much that it was a one shot one kill. Second drone also another missle strike and it rolled away, then rolled back, for a good hit. One of my guys did a grenade which finished it off. Nice. Ran and gunned through one of the training areas and then one of the residential areas quite fun landing head shots and what not as I charged through.

Cyberpunk 2077I really don't know how they made this game so good looking. V has met up with Solomon Reed and taken him to the President. When two very serious people are talking to each other and you just want a selfie for the 'gram Did a couple of gigs while waiting for Reed to get the President out of Dogtown - then it will be off to find So Mi (I guess). Nice to finally see real variety amongst the city people. Wish they'd applied it to all of NC when Phantom Liberty became available.

Still sticking with m ysports games will likely stick wit hthem until I' m done with my first tennis career on Topspin 2k25 hoewver long that takes. Hoewver I am makin ggood progresson m yFifa/FC saves at least. I'm hoping t ostil d oanother season or 2 on those at least before I consider coming bac kt om yRPG's though as ewll sa doing som emotor racing in particular on F1 24. But when I do come back it'll likely be to bounce between Hogwarts and DAI and probably finishing off my current Midnight Suns run and try the new Capes game seeing as it's relativel ysmall in siz eas it's onl y2 GB disc space. (It's small in disc space but gameplay wise I heard it takes abou t30-40 hours t ocomplete which I don't think is bad fo r £30) then maybe look a tgivin gDragon's Dogma a go. Afte rtha tI'm undecided so will likely depend o nm ymoo dat th etime but I' mthinking AC Oddysey o rgoing back to Mass Effec tand Horizon.

Yes, all head over the train station and underground world known as Matrix 11 and, the first long section is about getting around some trains and then squaring off agiants a monster called Stalker. There are also a few enemies that will mean a big problem in our journey:

SWTORMy BH is now on Alderaan, which is probably their peak funny moment in their class story. I already beat a noble into submission. But it seems that Gault actually love traveling with my BH, since he keeps approving what I'm doing/saying. I also made a Sith Inquisitor. My roulette continue, I'll never get to the last expac content. He's already at the fleet, but Korriban isn't very long compared to other starter planets.
---- I've been playing Steam games on Linux only over the last week and I kinda have to test EA Play, GOG and the others since I want to fully leave Windows behind. So since we are supposed to get DAD news soon, I'm installing DAI on Linux (via EA Apps running in Wine working fine so far) and I will try that. Not sure I'm going to do a full PT. I already have enough just trying to play KoTOR/SWTOR/GW2 at the same time.

So Stargate Ah yes, it reminds me of Abydos from Stargate. In the KOTOR games Korriban was my favorite planet as well. But in SWTOR it is huge my Sith Warrior returns there from time to time to reflect.

Today I learned that EA Play has cloud saves or at least DAI does without it being mentioned anywhere. Once the installation was finished, I started the game to see if it was working before moving my backed-up save/config folder to the EA Play fake windows partition and the start screen was acting like it had saves. I checked via load and all my characters were there! I totally didn't expect that.

I'm missing Japan....It's been nearly a week since I began Jin's adventure, but I've been busy and haven't had time to visit. Hopefully, I can get in even an hour or two tomorrow. But it will have to be tomorrow afternoon when it is due to rain because tomorrow morning I'm going to be at the Driving Range getting in some much needed practice.
Gotta get that handicap back down to 8 for the challenges I will face this summer, and to do that I need to get back to hitting the ball straight. I've got some funky things going on with my swing (old habits biting me in the ass) and it's really doing a number on my game. I'm still breaking 90 due to the strength of my short game, but I gotta get the rest of my game under control.

Played some more Wuthering Waves. Discovered a few more things about exploration that made it even more enjoyable. For example sprint doesn't use stamina, just the initial burst costs any, then you just keep the momentum without using more. If you start climbing while in sprint, you just run up the wall, making it much faster process (you can also start that climb-sprint during climb itself). And my favourite - if you encounter ledge while climbing, that in most games would be the end of climb, your character grabs the edge and does something similar to somersault over it, allowing the progress. Love them for that. Combat is still great, espectially now that I figured more stuff about it and got character I wanted ( character that is the main reason I caved in and downloaded this game). I mentioned before how sound design helps during it, I noticed more things that you don't have to pay attention to visually thanks to sound clues. For example parry or dodge also have distinct sound assigned to them, which both are important part of WuWa's combat system. Unfortunately camera work/enemy focus still has weird moments. My "favourite" was during one of the boss fights, if you switched characters, you got teleported outside combat area, because game focused on something outside of it and decided for you that's the target you want to attack. They fixed that one, but there're still smaller camera/focus annoyances. Unfortunately it has really rocky lauch. While I did not enocounted bugs that others seem to be plagued by, I do have problems with sudden ping spikes (known problem from game's side, not players). Worst of all, for me it happens with overworld boss fights (rarely, mildly annoying), as well as one of the game modes (99% chance to get 999 ping during latter stages, which makes playing it nigh impossible). I mean, just look at that health bar. Tell me you wouldn't alt + f4 ( which after I did that and reloaded, I was put at the beginning of this fight again... tried again... happened again...).

Yeah i tis baffling if you've already created somethin gthat's doingthe job an ddoing it well why change it. Moreoften than not it's better t ostic kwith something th eteam is familiar with than change. For example Codemasters have been using iterations of their Ego engine for the F1 games since thebeginning and hav eupdated an dmade the necesar ychanges to kep the gam lookin ggood . The yeven used i ton their Grid an dDirt games as well. The F1 games have always looked pretty solid graphics wise since they started making them in 2010. I would say they've evolved pretty nicely as well despite it likeFifa/FC bein a yearly franchise cash cow now.

My baby Sith Inquisitor did the Black Talon this morning, the "bad" version since I usually pick the "good" version. For people wondering the difference, the bad version end-up with the entire bridge crew of the Black Talon killing each others while you are away.
After that he landed on Dromund Kass and started to make his way through the jungle to the city. You have to wonder if the Sith Empire Capital has rebels and slaves revolts so close to the major city, why it haven't fallen yet...
Dragon Age Inquisition
Continuing my testing from last night. I made a Rogue (dagger) Dwarf named Maveric and started the intro (didn't finish it yet). It running smooth on Ultra so far. I'll have to try BG3 with GOG to see how that's going and I think I'm going to be ready to wipe my Windows disks during my PTOs at the end of June.

Took a break from Starfield to try something new yesterday - loaded up Talos Principle 2 for a couple hours.
Played the prologue which was basically a repeat of game 1 puzzle solving adventures, during which the character was calibrated, and then woke up/was born into a city called New Jerusalem. This city was apparently founded by our character from the first game, named Athena and known by everyone as just "The Founder," who has now gone disappeared somewhere. The new PC is the 1000th 'human' added to the city's population, so everyone calls you "1K" for short. Others have actual names to go along with their numbers printed on their chests but so far no option to pick an actual name for myself.
A view of the city from the elevator in the main building:
The PC's entry into the city was marked by a celebration, which was then interrupted by an entity calling itself Prometheus. There are apparently different factions in the city with different views about what to do now that 1K has been reached. Some want to leave well enough alone and just exist, others want to explore and see what's out there. After the interruption, it was decided that seeing what's out there is now kind of necessary because, even if they don't want to find it, it has apparently already found them.
I explored the city first, visited the museum, did all the puzzles, played the interactive game, talked to everyone I could find, and lastly visited Milton's Rest, which is basically a pet cat memorial. Then headed back to the city center to join the expedition to an island emitting some kind of power signature. Left off after getting there.
With all the other human-robots and the adventure plot line so far, this game is very much different in structure from the first one, where you just went from area to area solving puzzles and finding old recordings from the ancient world. I'm sure there will still be plenty of puzzles to solve though!

SWTORMy baby Sith Inquisitor did the Black Talon this morning, the "bad" version since I usually pick the "good" version. Dragon Age InquisitionContinuing my testing from last night. Nic ehtinking of doing an Archer rogue for my series run wit hOrigins and DA2 buit that's when I do m yrun of the 3 games leading up to Dreadwol fand when I find the time.

Starfeild
Met the Constellation team and was given my first task. Sarah Morgan is coming with me I guess to evaluate me. Joined the Vanguard and mainly stayed on New Atlantis doing side quests. Went to Cydonia on Mars to meet the contact Constellation wanted me to find. Persuaded the bartender with help from Sarah to reveal the location of the contact. Now I must head to Venus.

Ghost of Tsushima.... Must've played for at least 4 hours today, cleaning up a lot of the side quests and practising my combative skills. Also, I don't get why the game allows you to kill deer without getting a hide out of it. Because otherwise it just feels wrong. The only animals I have successfully killed for a 'reward' are the bears. So I'm going to leave the deer alone, they don't harm anyone anyhow.

They are considered divine messengers in Japanese culture for their legend has it that the Thunder God, Takemikazuchi, rode on a white deer. The devs did right in not allowing any hunting of deer for hides because no Japanese will do such a thing. Only hides from bears and wild boars are valid. Do you know they have a deer sanctuary in Japan where the deer roamed in great numbers and interact with the locals and tourists? There is also a fox sanctuary where locals and tourists can buy food and feed the foxes though not allowed to pet them.

GoT Caught the cold and didn't play at all for a couple of days. Busy zzzzZZzzzZ on and off. Put in a couple of hours for the DLC which takes place on Tiki island. There's mini archery and flute games though I've no idea what's the end reward. I also found, somehow or other, to have missed a Mongol held area on the northern main land. Not sure how I could even miss it! Pretty sure I didn't get all the headbands because I didn't realise until very late in the game when the bird led to me a closed off pagoda what I was supposed to do. The first time it did that, I searched around and couldn't figure out what's the item. I found out later that I'm supposed to stand at any of the corners of the ground floor at the pagoda, look up at the triangular edge of the roof and throw the grappling hook and climb to each succeeding roof until to the top to get the item.
