MELE Bounce the rogue spectre II. Success! 🤣 I had difficulty tracking Vesir, caught between the need for cover and the need to bring down her barriers. At the last, I decided to abandon cover unless necessary and tried to keep track of her. Watching where Liara and Garrus were facing helped. Bounce the rogue spectre I, seven years ago Bounce the rogue spectre II, 2022 This was the second attempt as she dropped down the map and both companions were stuck looking down which meant Vesir didn't die despite being bounced out.

Madden 22Theme of the night? I am shit at predicting shit. Had the Ravens up next in my franchise and well I have also clinched the number one seed in the NFC for and well the idea when this happens is teams will usually rest their players IRL. I even did it in a game in season 1 of franchise 1. But I always hesitate to do that because well you do it so you don't get your main players hurt, like with Godwin...but I am a firm believer in knocking people out of their rust. That you don't let people play they'll get rusty and you don't want to give your starters 3 weeks off basically at this point. But I do tend to play it a little softer. My limit to take the starters out in general is about 30+ points well with the first seed up, always risky, but I drop that to a 21 point lead. And I had the Ravens which is a team I always have respected...always had a great defense and they have a pretty good QB right now so expected it to be a grinder...and forgot to set the staff goals for the week of course and of course gave me a bunch of stuff I wasn't sure about it so was convinced it was going o be a bit of a grinder all the way till the end. Well it was 31-10 at halftime. . Everything I was doing just was connecting. Fornette was the most wild example as he broke out of his funk in a big way...one of the game goals was 5 rushing TDsl And well Fornette had 3 of them with the first half and only 6 carries but 120+ yards. Brady's only TD pass of the day was a beaut to Evans. This time I made the right pass selection and was able to loft it over Evans head in single coverage. Again one of those routs I don't typically utilize a lot but I saw that it would take him away from the safety so again if he beat his man and he did...bang bang boom about forty yards and a TD later. Of course then probably got a lot gun shy as I tried to do it again and it almost got picked. Bad decision thought that I could get it out of bounds if it was incomplete and almost didn't...but then just handed it off again. Other play was an Evans one and oddly enough Brady was scrambling and Evans was going through the scrame drill and coming back to him, such a dangerous potential play that could result in a pick...and has...but Evans boxed out the db because of his size. So Trask came in and just continued to add to the onslaught. Threw for 2 TDs, Jones ran for another. I came one TD short but inevitably...weird nonsense happened. 4th and one on the 39 yard line, came up with a QB sneak and even though the yardage went to 38 it still gave them the ball AND a challenge kept it. Then he threw two more picks...ugh. Came one TD short of having five on the game. Though Jones had 20 carries. Big news though: Cooks has 1000 yards for the season.

Restarted my KCD playthrough with some mods. Mostly just some quality of life changes that should make it a bit more enjoyable as far as some mechanics go. Also looked into some performance tweaks since Rattay and some indoor locations love eating up fps for some reason, hopefully helps.

I have already spent 45 hours in the chronicles of myrtana but there is still plenty to do outside the city without having entered the city at al. I cut down 3 black bears and some frogman to get the contents of the treasure chest and I met Petra who provided quite a few useful info as I helped her sell the goods

SWTOR
I played quite a bit, but forgot to post. My soldier Firna Noryl finished Nar Shaddaa and Tatooine (and was surprised, that she found an unlikely ally) and is now on Alderaan.
I made her a twin sister - Alys Maru, who is in Imperial Intelligence. The two of them still get along, they just avoid politics.
Alys already finished Balmorra and is sick and tired of Kaliyos games. And I just found out, that you get actual approval, if you are mean to Kaliyo ... ok, I can do that, no problem.
Alys is far too nice for Imperial Intelligence, but she is good at her job and so she gets by. Keeper wasn't really excited, when she told him, that she is in it for the adventure. I mean, what did he expect? Aliens are not exactly popular in the Imperium, so you can at least try to get all the fun possible. Especially if you have Darthes breathing down your neck all the time. Alys really is sick and tired of them.
My bounty hunter Ollara Toryl has left Dromund Kaas and is on her way to Balmorra for the start of the great hunt.
ANd my jedi consular Lyana Asani is finishing off on Voss.
I played a few more of my characters, but that post would get too long.

Expedition Rome The gameplay is like XCom but with RPG elements in it. It's pretty obvious the protag has to be a guy due to the fighting and management of army, politics, etc but since the devs put in an option for a female protag I decided to try it out and see where it leads. It's estimated to be over 50 hours of gameplay. I opted for easy setting for the first run. CC is just basics since it's pointless to make a custom face. However, whichever class chosen for the protag will be shown with the appropriate armour on the character menu.

My Bosmer thief made it to Greyfox, so that's where I'll leave Oblivion for now. i.imgur.com/Aa9pN94.pngNow I'm on Morrowind for the first time in 10 years. I got it on GOG as my old disk version didn't have the DLC's (which the mods all need) Though I'm using minimal mods, just MGE XE and the Morrowind Code Patch, and the Patch for Purists. Plus the head and body mods. (I'll have to edit the head a bit to make it match Robert's body.) Definitely not a power player build. i.imgur.com/nMeNONq.jpg i.imgur.com/JOispLt.jpgI'll probably start again if my lack of endurance becomes a problem.

Far Cry 6Justicia MonterroThis quesst was a lot of fun in the end. Had to assault the final airbases to get to Jose including the airbase I struck twice before so this was kind of fun though.
In the end had to take Castillo on foot though...well I was on foot he was in a helicopter. Bit of a fun situation though because I tried sniping him and then when that didn't work I leapt down off the control tower to take it down. And well killed people until the Supremo recharged.
And then Espada stuffed a grenade in his mouth which is always nasty but hey revenge and we got a message of vague female empowerment with Clara saying Espada is what they needed. And the two got on with it and made an alliance. Vaguely reminicent of DAO...in a good way.
Then we got a debrief from Castillo, Anton, and well he was continuing to work on talking about lions and lambs and well he is a bit of a one note villain...but Giancarlo always pulls it off. It was fn there has already been so many bad ass moments but really funny one. The pllanes can be really hard to control and get disoriented as we aare flying around...but the landing gear automatically deploys and well this led to a situation when I just completed an objective doing a desperate loop I actually touched down before flooring the throttle and going back. From here did a lot of cursed side missions. I swear. The stupid supply drops are timed and well on the second one my horse despawned and then I tried getting cute and dropped from the thing and died...but spawned far, far away. So enough of that. Then the base I hit I swear it glitched because I cleared it out and did not complete it so had to reload and well for a time I thought it would be the same, but then I found a final sniper and killed him.

Yeah the onl ything that's holding me back is the fact they're a little cartoony for my usual taste but I got them in a bundle sale which is why I chose to get them as I had heard a lot about the games. I tincluded al the games and DLC's at the time. I thought it was worth picking them up though even if just to try them for the price they were going for.

MELE
Finished the suicide mission. Everyone lives. I had Overlord and Reaper IFF to do initially. Dr Kenson is the last. I wanted to recruit Legion first as I want to bring him on the Overlord mission. I forgot what's the trigger for the crew kidnap but knew it was after Reaper IFF. I was hoping to do Overlord but then decided to complete Legion's quest. I think that's what triggered the crew kidnap.
After that, it was a toss between Overlord and starting the suicide mission. I went on the suicide mission since any delay meant the crew would die.

Am having a really good time in Wild Hunt with an early-game Signs build. Insofar as you can have a 'build' with still only three available talent slots, one of which is occupied by the appropriate armor-specific general talent, the other two being the Alternate Yrden casting mode and the Axii dialogue talent. (invested in the Melt Armor talent for later when I have more slots) This might be the most fun I've ever had with the combat. At first I figured I'd be dragging that second one around reluctantly for RP reasons, slowing my character progression down just to succeed on a few conversation checks, but it's absurdly useful for single combat encounters, and alternate Yrden makes a huge difference with crowd control for group fights. Between those two and the basic unupgraded Igni for softening up groups, Aard for laying down and instakilling light enemy monsters like drowners and nekkers, and Quen to buy time to set up the alternate Yrden, plus a high Sign Intensity from the Griffin School talent and the one Greater Blue Mutagen I have available until level 6, I'm pretty much wading through encounters on Death March difficulty that would have given me at least some trouble with any other approach, without even having to kite. Even discovered that Axii can effortlessly pull flying enemies straight out of the sky and off horses for a coup de grace while they're stunned, and that stunning overleveled red skull bandits with it followed by heavy attacks usually results in instakill too! (Yeah, maybe I'm late to the party on those things, but after reading the books I've usually focused on swordwork and alchemy because those are the ones that have seemed most appropriate to the Geralt I knew, and Axii never interested me much. I think next series playthrough I might try to go seriously into that Sign. If memory serves, one of the first things Geralt does in the first book is use it to turn a bunch of drunken assholes picking a fight on each other). And with all the talent slots I still haven't opened up and how effective half the signs are even unupgraded with a decent Sign Intensity, I'm way more excited about fleshing this build out now than I was before I started. Am gonna put some points in upgrading Igni to melt enemy armor and burn shields out of human enemies' hands, definitely, also to help keep the swords relevant without going all-in on strong/fast attack damage bonuses, but beyond that I have no real plans other than maybe some Alchemy to empower my Mutagens and expand potion utility a little bit when I've collected enough advanced potion recipes that are worth drinking. Though I'm also thinking about developing Strong Attack a little bit and going for the Bear armor to make Geralt more tanky. By then I should have both Synthesis for my Mutagens and enough Sign Intensity bonuses to make the Griffin armor talent superfluous. Story-wise, I'm currently chasing through Avallach's obstacle course with Keira. Still really digging the pep and maturity in hers and Geralt's chemistry, especially after deciding to forego seriously pursuing either Triss or Yen in this playthrough, making the more casual encounters and friendships feel a bit more important and meaningful. Come to think of it, I liked Geralt's cooperation with Sile de Tanserville against the Kayran in TW2 too. Really, any time he gets to play the experienced and professional man of action next to a less hardened and cynical character with some agency of their own who isn't mired in romantic baggage or Philippa Eilhart is a treat. Even if it later turns out the women were playing him for fools. Which doesn't not happen a lot. Having that first serious talk with Yennifer surprised me yet again with how painful it was, even though I feel a bit more generous toward her after washing my hands of both her and Triss this time around. Even with Polish voice-over, the way Geralt's eyes widen and his voice softens as he says "Yen... I'd lost my memory...", all hurt and guilty and miserable that she's angry with him, seriously breaks my heart. He never shows that much vulnerability with anyone else in the entire trilogy. And she just tells him to shut up because she was too busy to let anyone know she was still alive and now she doesn't like the results. Grrr. I think I like Yennefer as a character - she's written as being genuinely whip-smart and generally both sensitive and ruthless, which is a combination I very much enjoy - but the weird, fucked-up entitlement and callousness and complete lack of self-reflection she treats him with really gets on my nerves. Also forgot to turn 'Enemy Upscaling' off with the mice/rat swarm encounter in Avallach's hiding place, as usual, and the bastards almost ate me alive. It's so weird that that was never bug-fixed. And for the first time in a few playthroughs I've abandoned the middle-aged 90's boy band member hair and beard for Geralt, and gone with the ponytail instead. Totally not in honor of the fourth season of Cobra Kai, which I finished over the weekend. Nu-uh. I went on the suicide mission since any delay meant the crew would die. Only half the crew, if you stick to under three missions after the kidnap before doing the Suicide Mission. I prefer to think of it as... boiling my crew down to the essentials. The ones who survive will remember the deaths of their comrades and live and fight fully and fearlessly from that day on. Plus, all those names look great on the ship's memorial wall in ME3...

I would, but it's become something of an integral part of my Warden's story.
Hence, it stays in the line up. But I think I will never ever play it on anything but Easy, ever again.

Rune Factory 4 So finished a whole year playing normally for the first time. Might have gone to bed early the last two days. But it was pretty nice. Didn't pick up the plot until the second of spring, since New Years was a holiday and those are sacred. Act 2 took way less time this time. Helped being overlevelled I guess. Also had some Rosaries, which prevent monsters from spawning, so the dialog farming went over as smooth as can be. Except one bit where Arthur decided to take three hour bath when I really just needed him to spit out a couple of lines so I could use the airship... And did skip testing one bit where the dialog happens before the save and it seemed like it would have finnicky triggers. For the start of act 2 + Idra cave, Dylas had the most optional content because Doug. Porcoline graced me with a "Mmmm" line, which was a shocker. And surprisingly Raven and Barrett had some stuff to say. Like actual lines and Barrett lines were informational and Raven's lines made the whole thing pretty sad. So that was nice. Also holy heck the adorable dorkiness between the protag and Arthur was amazing.
For the Maya road Dolce takes the cake dialog-wise. Barrett and Raven had some interesting lines for the boss at the end of the road and Illuminata and surprisingly Bado also had quite some content. And there was even a special line for Porcoline. Be still my heart!
For the frozen woods there wasn't all that much. Was kinda amused that the boss there was the only one of the group who got zero acknowledgement. Like the others got some comment but this one just nada.
Trip to the final dungeon had the most lines for Dylas and Forte. Dolce also had some neat lines and I think everyone had a line when you land. Which again, neat. The dungeon itself had zero dialog and not suffering through the final boss again, since how the scene plays out kinda says there wont be any lines. Also lazy.
Did take a sneak peak at the next event by sleeping until it triggered. It looks pretty neat but also need to upgrade my weapons and stuff because the next bit seems to take place in Leon Karnak and that area still makes me suffer. Also finally got some dungeon seeds so did try that out a couple of times. So many items were left behind though since all my inventories are full to the brim due to hoarding. Should sell/craft with them, but like, what if I need that Pineapple tomorrow? So going to have to deal with that I guess.

So no gaming yesterday too busy cooking and eating and drinking. The day before I was brave and did a Boss mission in Ghost Recon I had been putting of for over a week after reading how hard it was. It starts with eliminating three guards undetected which I somehow failed, not quite sure but they died pretty quick next attempt. Then you have to drive up to the boss dudes house "El Pulpo" and he comes out and jumps into his car and you have to escort the car in a about 7 or 8 minute drive where bad guys try and kill him and the protag. I read up on suggestions and one was to move his car (a normal vehicle) and replace it with an armoured vehicle and then also use an armoured vehicle yourself. I met this half way and just used an armoured vehicle myself and the other suggestion was to not worry about the enemies but just to block them over taking you and shooting El Pulpo's car. That of course is easier said than done, so the the race to the airport began and I did an OK job keeping most of the enemies behind me and ramming several that appeared in front but El Pulpo got T-Boned by a civilian car and had to jump out and change cars. This is the nightmare bit because when he does this he can easily be shot or run over. Anyway he not only survived but picked a much stronger vehicle and from then on even with a Helicopter joining the fight it was pretty uneventful. Upon arriving at the airport he has to run to a helicopter and the helicopter is a menace and I wasn't sure if it would fail the mission if I left my car to shoot it as the squad were doing a shit job from the cars back seats. Anyway took a chance and my AR took it down in less than a 30 round mag in under 10 seconds and El Pulpo was away. Reward was a cool/stupid/cringe worthy hat but thought I'd roll with it for a while at least. After that started a new area and cleaned up some small bits and pieces in others. Just one other area with a lead up to a boss mission I have been putting off, will give that another go today after 5 failures previously.

I remember that mission and it was so much fun for me I think I did feel pretty bad ass when I got him to the helicopter. **** Madden 22So for reasons decided to load this back up for the day, will probably get back to Far Cry 6 tommorow and stuff. My goal for Madden of late is in the past I would be doing ball distribution based on who hadn't made a catch because I loved just getting all my recivers involved...and I suppose there is still some of that going on a bit And designed plays aren't always a bad thing. But trying to get better about reading coverages and stuff. Of course both of the interceptions were probably the result of my forcing it in a way. Brady still finished with 4 TDs and 2 Ints and about 400 yards...oh playing against the Steelers. Ended up winning 63-30. Played pretty well. Fornette's late season inconsistencies continue but then the Steelers did have a pretty loaded box. Yet he still was able to score two touch downs. Faulk added another rushing TD later on and Jones had over 100 yards on about 20 carries in relief. As far as reading coverages are concerned to a lot of checkdoes in the game as White ended up leading the team in catches with 7. This makes me happy. Just an issue of one case I was pretty sure they were in zone so White should get open, and he would. Then another instance of looking for something else but saw White was open in the middle so got him again. Evans had 5 catches and a TD. Cooks had 5 catches 122 yards and 2 TDs. Two play sequence was quite interesting. Threw to Cooks and he got a pick, again made a bad read, but then ran the exact play, it was in the back of my mind, but this time Cooks came open caught it and managed to race to the endzone for the score.

MELE
Finished LE2. Started LE3. I was expecting the no-starkid mod to be just no appearance at the end but to my surprise, he's not there at the beginning, in the ducts! I 🤣 It's definitely a vast improvement.
