Finally got around to playing BGIII on my new machine, only to find I had not saved anything to the cloud. Oh, no, I have to watch the opening with ultra settings and no stuttering?! It looks like a completely different game, and it's smooth and butter. Until I found Astarion and my computer decided to reboot as soon as I finished talking to him. You would think I'd learn to save every 12 seconds, but...alas...it had been at least half an hour. More tomorrow with my Tiefling sorcerer!

MELE
At some angles, Shep looks like the old Shep. In others, she resembles someone I can't put a name to. 😄 She looks mighty young.
I've a feeling they change Shep's exchange with Kasumi slightly at the Citadel because that's not how I remember the conversation went regards the heist. I'm glad I got the extra armour mod; I just picked up the N7 hoodie for Shep at the Citadel.

Madden 22
ugh.
Something I haven't really done before and don't know why...well no I do know why...the urge struck me. Did an expedition game between Rams and Bucs...no special updates no putting injured people back in, just the real rosters for tommorow's game and well... I did pretty good. Kiinda went all out on the passes and won 56-21. Brady had 8 TDs and 3 Ints and he threw the ball... a lot...but then there was a lot of plays in general. The funny story that was for like awhile, according the stats, Evans had like 10 yards on 4 catches but three of those were TDs. He got more rolling later but the big story was Scotty Miller. 8 catches for like 150 yarrds on that money play resulted in a score.
And well faced off against the Cowboys for my franchise and kind of felt like an 'aw fuck it game'. Going pretty heavy on the offense for the plan and well...it worked. Once again Godwin was the pretty big guy when it cmae to big plays. Both his TDs was huge. On man coverage and a go route he got passe dhis guy and raced him beating him like 80 something yards on it. Of course Evans also had a big play on the next drive and then Gronk had a 75 yard score. But even more impressive Godwin's second TD bit of a desperate scramble situation, double covered, corner of the endzone, yet he came up with it. So yeah notes. Evans led the way with 6 catches and 111 yards for 2 TDs. Godwin had 5 catches, over 100 and 2 TDs. Cooks had 5 catches for like 60 as he came alive late. Gronk had his second straight game of 100 yards which is certainly helping with my objectives. Miller had 3 catches with his 1st score. Brate scored on 5 catches and I think Cooks did to.

Been playing Kingdom Come Deliverance lately. I'm enjoying the story and characters, but the combat is def a little rough. In small fights it's not so bad but in group encounters it can get really rough.

Been playing Kingdom Come Deliverance lately. I'm enjoying the story and characters, but the combat is def a little rough. In small fights it's not so bad but in group encounters it can get really rough. Stick with it, and make sure to train thoroughly with the captain dude in Rattay. Also attend tournaments if you have the expansion for that. The biggest problem with the combat learning curve in Deliverance is that there aren't easy, low-stake waves of mooks to slaughter on your way between A and B, to farm exp and get used to the mechanics. Fights are few and far between, and they're all life-or-death until you're properly equipped and have built the fundamental skills and talents up a bit, and get a good feel for the system. So it's important to jump on opportunities to practice your skills and get a strong grip on the controls, or they just won't be up to snuff when it matters. Just finished The Witcher 2. Upon further reflection I've decided that Geralt's relationship with Philippa probably works better if he went with Roche in TW2 rather than Iorveth, because the lack of personal familiarity with her disgusting tricks makes it a bit more plausible why he doesn't shove his sword through her face every time she opens her mouth in Wild Hunt. And it feels like going with him to Aedirn and then saving Triss instead of Anais leaves Geralt and Roche most like where they seem to be with each other in the third game. Comrades, but not quite brothers. I did intend to save Anais this playthrough, but while investigating her and Boussey(?)'s "disappearance" in Loc Muinne I kept getting this nagging feeling that this really, really, really isn't what Geralt would want to concern himself with compared to finding Triss. Unlike Roche, it's not exactly like Geralt owes Foltest's memory anything. So I figured that collecting that information and putting Roche and the Temerian nobles in a better position to sort themselves out worked fine as Geralt's last reluctant dabbling in politics before finally giving them all the finger and focusing on his own goals. Also, killing that bastard Shillard is never not satisfying, and Roche killing a bunch of Keadwenis and saving the girl on his own is just so insanely badass. Like Mercurio from Vampire: Bloodlines suddenly turning out to have personally massacred the drug dealers who jumped him if you didn't do it for him. Love it when an NPC decides to show they can get shit done without you there to babysit them. Unfortunately that also meant that I didn't get the full witch hunt massacre scene by Radovid in the epilogue, which would have been a nice setup for that whole situation in TW3. But I also find it believable for him to bide his time and humor the mages and plan things out a bit before dragging them from their beds in the middle of the night to face the inquisition. Still, it feels like a much more fitting ending to the game to leave Loc Muinne burning and decorated with sorceresses and mages on stakes, as a monument to the giant political clusterfuck it was and the insane mess it leaves behind for everyone. But I guess you can't have everything. ...Okay, I'm kinda considering going back and replaying the final quests and letting Letho retrieve Triss to get some emotional distance between her and Geralt and get that wonderfully gory ending... I mean, I guess you could justify Geralt feeling some kind of duty to Anais since her father did die on his watch... and she is just a little girl in the hands of a yucky peadophile necromancer... on the other hand, Roche having squared her away on his own fits better with my intentions to make Ciri Empress and having Emhyr concede to revive Temeria as a nation under the pressure of his guerillas... *checks which Saves I have left* Nevermind. Oh, and I let Letho's prank on Sile play out and watched her burst like a big blood balloon because she'd just finished monologuing about leaving Geralt to die at the claws of the dragon to keep her dirty secrets. Frankly, I way prefer letting her live and get captured by the witch hunters to be tortured and brutalized to death over a span of months for the crimes she totally did commit, but in the moment Geralt can't be sure that they'll catch her and it didn't behoove him to lift a finger to save her life. That makes more sense to me in a playthrough where he joins Iorveth and is never really confronted with Sile's part in the whole conspiracy as opposed to Phillipa's. In contrast I let Letho run off after a drink because he did risk his neck to save Yennefer, and unlike the Sorceresses did what he did for his own reasons and because someone duped and sold him a bill of goods, and not because he just so felt like dominating the continent. Also, he's awesome and I love his role in Wild Hunt. MELE Finished ME1. Before starting ME2, I checked that all the quests are completed with the TSE. I decided not to go with the imported face as I want Shep to have a different hairstyle due to her two years of unconsciousness. When I was done, she doesn't look anything like the old FemSheps of the older game versions even though I gave her pretty much the same measurements. I guess this is due to whatever small changes they did to CC, graphics, etc. "Two years of unconsciousness"? Yeah, plus face-planting from orbit and having their skull, face and brain surgically stitched back together again. A nice 'do' doesn't tend to survive that in my experience. I usually do the same thing, especially with female Shepards. A nice and professional ponytail or crewcut in ME1, something a little more coma patient-ish in ME2, and then potentially something in-between in ME3 to symbolize their disillusionment and disenfranchisement from the Alliance in 2 while at the same time having returned to civilization. It's a trope for a reason. Though with a MaleShep I've sometimes had a little fun and decided to keep the crewcut or even give him an outright nicer hairstyle in ME2 because either Miranda's OCD about bringing him back "exactly the same!" or her superior aesthetic taste got the better of her at some point during the Lazarus Project, respectively.

The last few days I have mostly dabbled in various games. I finished a few more maps in GW2 on my soontm to be Mechanist Asura (GW2 expac is supposed to release next month). Some Skyrim/Oblivion. And other stuffs without going anywhere.
I'm stuck in-between right now. SWTOR next expac release on Feb 15th (unless they push that again), so I don't want to get serious in another game.

So haven't posted for a while but have still been playing Ghost Recon Wildlands as everything is quite repetitive in terms of doing missions to acquire resources, skill points, weapons, weapon parts and enhance abilities. The main story points of taking down bosses have some variances in how you weaken the leader of a province but the mechanics dictated on how to do it are pretty similar, blow things up, kill people, frame people etc. The how to is just kill them or stealth it or most often some stupid F#@king thing involving cars. I have bosses that I have not killed the past two days because of how horrible/difficult I have heard the final missions are and they both require vehicles which handle absolutely terribly. So plane flying I have gotten to about 50% success in landing the damn things until the provinces I have now started doing the enemies actually shoot damn missiles at you. Zero completion rate on those, it's hard enough to avoid them in the helicopters. It has seriously got to the point I am not sure I will complete the game as the KB&M controls for the planes and the cars are just way to complicated or overly sensitive. Might be the first game I have to admit I may just be too old for. Combat I have got to the stage that I am pretty solid and can do away with stealth most of the time as it's time consuming and just land a helicopter in an enemy encampment and come out guns blazing. About 50% complete I believe, next two days need to farm resources and skill points to fill out my skill tree in a few places. This was one of my best missions, zero detection taking out the head honcho's double then him as well zero detection both in quite challenging environments and requiring a fair bit of patience. This is what I love about the game, the story is sadly just not grabbing me at all. The above and blowing stuff up!!!! So it was sort of on the runway but then this plane after I got out decided to just retreat backwards trapping one of my squad under it's wing. Must have been trying to get away after such a rough landing.

MELE So I remembered this time to feed the fish after every mission. What a hassle! 😑 I don't know if it's mods or the devs made changes but on some planetary missions, Shep didn't wear the complete helmet with breather. It's just a a simple breathing mask. I guess this is so players can see the expression on her face. Tried to make a guy Shep, for once (really trying) but the CC is so bad for male Shep, I couldn't make a face I like. I don't want to play Sheploo. I gave it up as another no go. I'll see if there're any mods I can use for a guy Shep and maybe I could play one, after so many years. Since 2007. 🤣 Wish MET has a CC like Crusader Kings 3.

The barbarians are a bit harsh in the game. They seem to advance eras when you do, and going for a science victory meant they advanced fast. At higher difficulty levels, it's even worse. The AIs will be ahead of you, and therefore so will the barbs. Yeah, science means science and industry. Or at least, one or two super-productive cities. Sagan's often a trap option, BTW. If you've got multiple projects to complete, Kwollek is much better.

Madden 22Well here we go. More generalities because who can remember all the shit I did, not even sure, wait 5 games maybe? Anyways. -IRL loss, Brady's season is done so revenge time it is on behest of wifey. And the game...well annoying...but still quite a good game for the end in both cases. 56-41 so I would say they stuck around until the end. -Then played against the Bengals with the Broncos and well finally a good game with them as I won like 51-13. -Kind of my plan is to be a lot more pass happy and not try for as much balance with the Bucs. -And that pretty much worked out as Felton went like 38-48. About 500 yards I think. Myers had eleven catches and 2 TDs for over one hundred yards. De Greene had 8 catches and over 100 yards and got the ball a lot on the ground but didn't really get too much going. -Back to the franchise with the Saints and well... -Evans had a good game and you know what that means the rinse wash and repeat of tandom breakout getng Godwin his 150 yards (he did) and then offensive breakout. That worked to. -Wanted more rushing yards against the Saints though and ddn't make it but this will be one of the only exceptions to me giving Fornette out of the game and well he carried the ball 33 times which is a lot and well like 150 yards and a score I am quite sure. Not as good as I wanted but. -Still this might be wearing him out honestly because next couple of games he has been a lot slower then usual. Trouble getting him going n the ground. But then there was other circumstances. -I checked afterwords out of curiosity and despite my attempts to try balancing things not to balanced, Fornette has the most carries in the NFL and its not even close. 20 more then Dereck Henry. -Both Godwin and Evans had 200 yards against the Bengals, Brady finished with over 600. -Game two against the Saints was a bit of a blow out. 42-6 when I brought in the backups. -Trask three thre einterceptions in 3 passes. But then hit Miller for a TD later. On the bright news maybe its luck because I usually do not do the pre snap work I should...even still ...but I do love when I am using more of my knowlge of football to make good decisions. I guess I can learn so 2 plays of note. -Not to much work but I did recognize what to do as it was happening. The Rams sent an all out blits and I had Howard and Gronk on a drag route. The safeties droopped back and this just left a huge hole in the middle of the field, flipped it to Howard and Gronk got a nice block for a good play. -Next play I did recognize and just looking at it had Evans on a post...deep route and then cross over the middle of the field. Home run type play but it can take awhile to develop so I do not often go there when I call this play...but I notice that the safeties, if you can even call them that, were playing awfully shallow. So I kknew if Evans beat his man I could get a good play going. Bonus points the 'safety' on the play was blitzing so all Evans had to do was get open. Still good play the corner stayed with him and tackled him instantly but inordinatley pleased I recognized the coverage.

GW2
Yesterday, I finished gathering Hero Points on my Norn Elementalist Tempest so I can unlock the Catalyst once the new expec release. I kinda put that class in the back-burned a while back because dear god sustain is backward assed to generate compared to every other classes and it's the squishiest classes to play. Sometimes you have to wonder what the devs are thinking.
I found an already running HoT Hero Point train and then I finished with some of the ones in Path of Fire maps. I think I might be playing him a little while longer doing core maps completion. He's only at 36%.

Rune Factory 4 Loaded up an older save which was around half way through act 2 and rushed through the rest of it, using the lovely fact that my monsters were appropriate level for that chapter unlike my character so could just bump the difficulty to easy and ride them to victory. Had forgotten how long the final boss was, so that was fun. But it helped me make up my mind with my other save and just going to play out Winter before starting act 2, since I've never seen much of Winter but been through Spring plenty of times so it matters less if things drag on.
So just been chilling. Enjoying the winter theme in town and all the snow. It's pretty nice. Also having somewhat easier time exploring the Maya Roads and across the border. Found some new spells, been getting some nice monster drops. Life is nice.

SWTORSo a few days ago I started up a new Imperial Agent, a male Chiss named Ze'kerow Haskun (aka. Zee)
I purposely made him a "pretty boy" type of character, who uses his appearance to...seduce his targets when needed (I dunno, but the male Agent voice just...suits him so very well)
At present he's landed on Nar Shaddaa, got himself voluntarily injected with weird stuff...which made Kaliyo question his sanity (chances are things are going to get worse here on out, but eh *shrug). In terms of personality...Zee is very much a by the book sort of guy, but with a moral compass that points due south about 99% of the time. I plan on having him romance Lana Beniko

So a bit of a frustrating day today, did some missions to weaken "El Wey" to take him down and they all went well but the final mission sees you have to get to him before the bad guys do. So jumped in a chopper tracked him down speeding along a road, got ahead of him waited for his car to get close and them EMP'd his car with my drone, "grabbed" him and stowed him in the chopper took off and headed to the destination. "Easy peazy, lemon squeezy" EXCEPT the game thought that was far too easy and I had a physics glitch as I got him out of the helicopter and fell through the earth. That falling feeling Reboot to end of last mission, I don't have the chopper and time is of the essence so grab a car chase him down and force him off the road get out to extract him and some idiot rams my car which hits me and kills me and my squad cannot revive me because the car is on top of me. Reboot to the end of the last mission, again chase him down in the car force him to stop and the Rebels who are supposed to help you arrive and start firing at the bad guys and cars start blowing up everywhere and I cannot get to El Wey. A panicked civilian tries to get free of the now mass of piled up burning cars and hits me with his car and I die again and for some reason the game just said mission failed before I could be revived. Reboot to the end of the last mission. Force him off the road, the bad guys arrive and the squad and I kill most of them and effectively create a road block of abandoned and burning cars. The Rebels can't help themselves and end up shooting El Weys car which blows up and catches on fire and he thinks the safest place to be is on the roof of his car which is on fire and will soon explode. Great place to take cover Coincidently El Wey has terrible burns on his face due to a chemical fire making drugs: I then have to find my way over a pile of cars climbing on some to through fire before they explode and still manage to grab El Wey and haul him to a car I stop at gun point and stow him in the boot. Take off at a great rate of knots to escape the bad guys only to find they can't chase me as the raod is totally blocked. I hope people understand why I am putting off car missions!!!! Chased down a convoy and this is what success looks like as I tagged the gasoline truck before they all exploded: Almost text book landing to end the game (as was the mission to steal it) but I did it to upgrade a skill but miscalculated and fell 200 short of having enough gasoline for a 7,785 upgrade.

Madden 22Here we go again. It is the constant theme with this game and then with the previous Madden 18 that I started and restarted a franchise with the Bucs and Pats or just kept playing it instead of doing what I wanted with the super team of my created teams and then never get around to it. And well the Bucs lost (UGH!) so the NFL season is effectively over for me so beginning to think about how to put Madden on ice so I can focus on other games and well get FC out of the way so I can play other games when they come out and well Madden was losing its legs for me. Well but then things happen. In this case I was curious about something, about picking up blitzes in this case because of the two plays I noted yesterday and something I am not even sure about for real life foot ball 'how do you recognize when a team is blitzing?' now sometimes it is obvious but trying to recognize the not obvious. And while I need to do more research I did discover two veeerrrryyy interesting things. 1. I can't believe I didn't know this but in Madden you can do that super special make you feel like an actual football player identifying the Mike, or middle line backer (if you see a QB pointing 99% of the time he is identifying the mike). In this case though it is more 'identifying the blitzer' considering you can, I think, say anyone is the Mike and not just the Middle Linebacker. Which is also something that NFL teams do, but I don't know exactly how...which means though if think someone is blitzing, tag em, put in an extra blocker and they will help take care of them. Brady even does the point think. But perhaps even more significantly while I was looking at these videos I noticed a very famiiliar formation and then started doing research and well I found that the 49ers playbook has it and well then a bonus formation. One formation with Gronk in it and one with a third wide reciever which is the exact formation that the Pats had just that instead of Gronk its a third Wide Reciever which is how I always wanted to run it ironically just Madden 18 wouldn't let me. And as a bonus it has that little shovel pass thing that I have been looking for and Garapolo isn't that mobile so it has almost no QB running plays...well more on that in a minute. Now it has a few weaknesses in it. 1. I do not like a lot of its Singleback formations. While both of the Singleback heavy formations that I like are in there the bunch isn't and neither of the two 3 WR sets that I like is in there and its just pretty bare bones in that regard. Also it only has one formation in Empty (no running backs back with Brady) and I don't care for a lot of the plays. This does occur to me to see how much I can create a custom playbook now...god all this work I am putting into learning Madden this time and well soon I won't play it...maybe ever again. Oh and I did learn the differences in RPOs because well while this does not have a lot of QB runs it did have an RPO which I thought Brady would hand it off and he kept it and it was a weird mad scramble he got like five yards on it. But I noticed when you do an RPO it comes up with a giant prompt that lets you know what the play will do and I noticed under there it said 'keep the ball or throw it quickly' and on a play where Brady hands it off it will be 'auto hand off'...so now I know. Three games up on today to learn and some practice. First up the Chiefs and that ended up being 56-24. They held on for awhile but but turned it over which led to two quick scores after another which let me put them away...effectively. Lets see here remember the stats and stuff...remember. Brady had a clean game over 400 yards and 6 TDs. Fornette had some issues which is the other thing I heard that the 49ers are a run first team, which makes sense, but then again Fornette's struggles have been struggling since I made the switch. Brady has mostly been being his usual Brady self. But yeah Gronk was pretty much the star of the show here as he ended up with eight catches for 164 yards and 5 TDs in the end. Jones got in on the ground as well and I think Evans had the last one and Godwin had a pretty good game to. Gronk now has over 1000 yards on the season, the third 1000 yard play I have and 15 TDs which now ties him with Godwin. Then after that it was the Falcons and they stuck around for awhile to ugh I forgot the score. But now it is pretty much Brandin Cooks is the last guy I would love to get to 1000 yards and well there is a couple of great Brandin Cooks plays in the playbook to so he went off. Like 8 catches for 118 yards and well now he should be under 100 yards to getting to 1000 which he will have a lot of opprotunities to. Fun fact though Brady used Gronk but against the Falcons he had...six or seven TDs? but each of them were to a different reciever. White also had a pretty big game with 8 catches. Packers were after that and ended up beating them like 56-28 or something. Cooks and Miller had pretty big games but that was it. Godwin...well tore his abdomen...only a 4 week injury so he will be fine for the playoffs, next man up. Got a bit greedy towards the end and what I was trying to look up and have to do a better job in decisions though knew Evans would get open and he would but I still went bullet which let the Packers defensive back to udnercut the ball and pick it up. Should be better on that. Two other more positive plays, both against the Chiefs. First up not so sure exactly what I saw but people were in a bunch and single high safety had Godwin was running a corner route...which would take him past the safety. I knew if he beat his man he could get open...he ironically enough didn't really but still got just open enough and then used his speed to really get a lot of yards after the catch. Second oddest thing I've ever seen but fourth down play and like six so called a play that I knew could really beat that situation with two options to White or Gronk. Bit of a risk throwing it to White in this situation but Gronk if he gets open its money. Well I know the Chiefs have an X Factor safety so always important to keep track of him. Well he lined up deep like he usually does as soon as he broke the huddle but then instantly he and his opposite number across the field inched up to the line of scrimage like right on it and I am thinking 'what the hell is this' because this was so stupid because...well Gronk got wide open for a touchdown. One of the weirdest things I have seen playing this game.

There's a fish auto-feeder for LE2? No but Kelly can offer t ofeed them if you talk to her th eautofeeder is in ME3 but you do have to pa yfor it. I think it' ssomething lik e25,000 credits in the shop where you'll meet Barla Von in that game o rat least it'ssold on one of those terminals in that area. Oh I just got the auto-feeder for LE2. I never had Kelly offered to feed the fish in all my PTs of the old MET. 🤣 But then, I never took the trouble to talk to her.

MELE I'm definitely enjoying the LE. It has everything to do with the mods. The movement animation from LE1 makes going around in LE2 smoother and a better experience. Throw in the unlimited stamina, no camera shakes and Shep can run around quickly. LE3 is going to be the same though that one has more mods; no starchild and a happy ending. Not MEHEM but similar. The party with crew members is going to be at the end of the main mission too, like MEHEM. I think I got a mod that remove the dreams too, I think or reduce the duration. Additionally, one-probe-gets-them-all for LE2. Yep, just launch one probe and all resources on the planet is taken. I went with zero LI for the LE run. Less hassle. I was going to try a Miranda LI with a guy Shep but as I said before, the CC for guys is terrible so that plan is in the bin.
