Persona 3 Portable Me: *makes Thor with Vicious Strike* Well, time to go "Hulk Smash!" on enemies I guess! *10 minutes later* Me: *makes Alice with Die for Me!* ...aaaaand we're back to insta-kill spam Heh. I was kicking myself for not replying to your previous post about mudo skills with something like, "why don't you just die for me?" Figured someone would be think, "what the hell!" Haha. I also fused Alice, I wanted Spell Master on it, but that just seemed like too much work. I got Null Light on it and figured that was good enough. At least some of us would get it I'm actually tempted to get Spell Master for Alice from Shinshoudo Antiques, since I have enough for it. We'll see how I feel after my current Tartarus run, since I last saved inside of it and I'll most likely not leave before I'm done with current batch of requests, which - knowing my luck with gold Shadows - won't be soon Persona 3 FES When planning out my Helel fusion, I looked up its skills so I didn't waste time trying to inherit something it learns naturally. I noticed the Armageddon skill, I seem to recall Curious Crow mentioning it, though at the time it didn't mean anything to me, well sign me up now. Haha. Who doesn't like 9999 damage??!! Press F for the Reaper.

SkyrimSo that quest line trigger that didn't work last night with Sigrid, I managed to get it to work today. I just went down the stairs she climb. She got stuck at the top again, but then looked at me and un-stuck and I could advance that step further. So now I don't have to bypass that quest step, but I have no idea if I'm going to follow the main quest. Or what I should be doing. *Aimless Breton* I do need more spells and maybe a change of cloth, wearing Imperial gear might not be a good idea.

I uninstalled Outer Wilds and requested a refund, 2 hours playtime. It just isn't for me, despite being somewhat interesting nothing stood out and I don't love the controller controls... could have tried with KBM but no, I am not going to force myself to get into it. I understand why it would appeal to some people, but there is a combination of things that really do not work for me, and the complete lack of any VO is hard for me to swallow - the voices could have been entirely alien and made with a synthesizer, played on loops, and it would have been better than the silence and all of the reading. At least voice a couple characters.
But, not every game is made for me. I get it.

Hogwarts Legacy
I'm still in my last finishing touches with Lavinia Foxglove, my Ravenclaw, but I started a Hufflepuff playthrough today, because I was in the mood. That was I can switch between the two and doing completion stuff with Lavinia and story with Mirabelle Willows.
I so love the Hufflepuff common room - and can now say: yes, it get's cosier than Hogsmeade I guess, my Hufflepuff will basically be a good girl too, but she might actually spare Sebastian because she believes, that everyone deserves another chance.

I agree on the Hufflepuff common room, too bad you don't actually spend all that much time in them, aside from a few instances when changing seasons and maybe a quest or two My Puff didn't spare Sebastian, because as much as she cared about the guy she agreed with Ominis that everything has limits
That said, I aim to make my Ravenclaw a bit more...morally gray, still no unforgivable curses but more forgiving of Seb
I can't wait to see the Ravenclaw common room

I've stil got a fwe things t od obut I'm throug hI thin kthe bulk of the single playe main gam econten tnow but this isn' t including DLC's but will play wit hthos eon m ynext run I think. I have been enjoying FH5 so will be a little sad to see it end but I'll admit I'm starting to feel ready to change gear again. S oin some ways I'm almost glad I'm near the end.

I can't wait to see the Ravenclaw common room The Ravenclaw common room is really nice - very airy and beautiful. I'd say from what I have seen the most pretty one, while the Puffs certainly have the most cozy one. I have to play a Slytherin, because I want to see their underwater common room - I think, you will even catch a glimpse of the giant squid there.

I did watch the common room tours back when they released the vids, but actually walking into them is something else altogether, at least imo. But yeah, out of the four I'm really curious about the Ravenclaw one, I mean...the Gryffindor one is pretty normal if you've seen the movies...and Slytherin might also be cool, if only because we only catch a small glimpse of it in the second movie

And yes, I saw that scene with Ominis - one reason more to like him, quite a funny dialogue.

I can't wait to see the Ravenclaw common room I kind of wish the game was more school centric storywise. You spend way more time outside of the school than in it, despite having more studies than everyone else to get up to speed.

Hardspace Shipbreaker The little spaceship is coming along. I'm down to a few areas that have to be fixed. I wonder what would happen once I got the ship up and running. I've yet to use the demo charges. After my discovery, the ships that came along after did not have any grade 3 parts. The char is now a level 17 shipbreaker. Along with the components I picked up, I also come across corrupted data disks. Once cleared up, they yielded some useful information. One of them contained useful information about shipbreakers which got me thinking because I didn't comprehend the cons of such an occupation. If it's real life, it's all the more terrible. It all boils down to the average usefulness / lifespan of a shipbreaker. Five years. Shipbreakers can last at the most, five years before they're completely broken. Exposed to daily hazards of their job like radiation and accidents, a tight unforgiving schedule also caused the steady health degradation, it'll be a miracle they could last that long. The debt they're slapped with right from the start is impossible to pay off. They're essentially dead the moment they sign the contract. The story so far has the corporation, Lynx, sending overseers to every workyard after someone barked about the workers looking to get the Union to represent them. The foreman is a helpful nice guy but the overseer is a sanctimonious pig. After announcing he's introducing a great safe tool to the shipreakers, the demo charge, he cut off everyone's right to communicate with their homeworlds after one shipbreaker revealed that the demo charges are not that safe. Then he told the foreman not to bother with training the MC, let the MC use her resourcefulness. After, he smarmed up to the MC by saying how he was like her originally. Yadda yadda about how he worked his way up and how he has to make sure everyone do their jobs because he will get it and get kick back down if something goes wrong. Yeah right, I "feel" for you.

So here is another problem I had with the damn stupid EA App. I decided to download DA2 and briefly glanced at the default download location but after installing the game I could not find it where it should have been. Checked the short cut target location and it had installed it inside the Mass Effect Andromeda folder!!!!!! So of course had to uninstall it and reinstall it and ot again wanted to install it in the MEA folder: How can it get something so simple so damn wrong, it does my head in and why of all places did it choose to put it inside the MEA folder??????

The Witcher 3
Bit of a grind fest in here so far. I am not a very poor Witcher as I have been trying to find the right materials, one way or another, so I can get all my Wolf Gear up to max...which is again quite a monetary burden for me so now I guess in part, I am grinding for money. And this is even after converting all my coins into 3000 or so crowns to. But buying all this stuff takes quite a lot and just trying to get the right balance of being able to craft it, which is cheaper, and buy it. On the brigth note all my Witcher gear is at least up to master crafted now. On the not so bright side all the grand master stuff needs enriched Dimertrium...sigh. Really wish after doing all these things for merchants or stuff, IDK that this could be free? Or at least discounted?
Other main thing was found Moreu's lab and that tragic story, so I went through his little machine to give Geralt the mutation buffs. And I do not remember it being...this complicated? I guess this was really more of a thing for New Game Plus but already I'm pushing level 41 and levels are getting harder and harder to come by so ability points are getting harder to come by. So yeah. Other thing initially reading through some of the options and they didn't seem that worth it...but funnily enough I then checked again and well lack of imagination on my part but the alchemy branch with some of that stuff sounds...quite cool. Being able to poison people with Alchemy based on toxcity actually might have some utility for me.
Found the bank...as I referenced...which is good. But also for some reason I couldn't access the quest paper chase. Guess I need to just bump into this random dude to activate it? Well I do need the money.
In the short term I think getting all my armor up to Grandmaster before continuing the main quest would be a bit difficult but I do want to find Aerendight and the maid/ cook lady for Corvo Bianco next before moving in on the main quest. At the least who knows may be doing random exploration or something. Also gotta find a way of getting more money or more materials for my armor.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint
More playing with my wife.
Up first did a Behemouth run because she wanted the schematic for the M4A1. So this led to us getting all super prepared for the thing and the high note on that was I switched out the 416 for an LMG, the Mk. 48... which basically I didn't use on the thing at all. There was a great ridgeline overlooking the area which provided us great cover. So sniper fire and we also rained EMP and rockets down on it. It is also easier to fight rocket behemouths rather then the death fart cloud from the first one. Still got a lot of fire and it was risky dodging its missles, we got a little aggressive at times both on the 'front' face of the mountain so we both had to go on back up. The bad news here is that I forgot I don't yet have the blueprints for the 416 so right now using the M4. It has a bit worse recoil so far.
Next mission pretty sure all we did on this was going to hunt down..oh yeah wait that's what we did. So yeah I wanted to do the elite assassination mission of a Sentinel COmmander because its kind of a cheap way to do one of those missions because you just have to kill the commander so ideally you can kill the commander, and leave. But we bumped into first the side mission with the crazy defenses and drones, well one of them. So we went up, cleared out the base. Bit of a funny moment to because I taught her how to use the synch shot drones so we got shots lined up on almost every turret and drone in the base, and wiped them out. WE missed one. And wife had fun because she discovered she could take control of the thing. She then got sad when one of the objectives was to take it out. Some dramatic crying resulted.
So on the way to the base we hit another base and had some nice sniping there between us. They got a bit wise to us so we had a lot of chatter as we calle out targets and swept through what we could see with sniper fire. Best bit I one hit killed a heavy gunner.
Finally onto the Sentinel Commander and well if we had our armor buster abilities at the least it could've worked out well but we didn't. So thought we could go up and shoot him through the window, discovered he was on the second floor. So we actually had to go in there... and somehow the guard heard wifey's steps so I had to rush in and then missed my initial shots. COmmander got alerted, whole base got alerted, but we rushed up the steps and killed him then calmly retreated the way we came, dealt with a helicopter that was summoned to face us...and that was about it.

Finished Persona 3 FES, overall I enjoyed it quite a bit, the level grinding and the lack of stuff to do can get boring after a while though. I judge what level I am suppose to be at by the level of new party members, when Shinji joined if I recall I was at least 7 levels lower. Aww jeez, time to grind I guess, later on when you have more interesting personas you are working towards I found it more enjoyable. I am glad I played FES before eventually playing Portable. I'm not interested in playing The Answer at the moment, maybe some day, from what I've read and heard it seems like it is not up my alley anyway, but you never know. Playing an old game is a bit like going back in time, looking up 15 year old gamefaqs threads for tips and knowledge. Haha. Before putting my PS3 back into storage for another seven years probably, the last time I used it was Persona 4 just before P5 came out. I loaded up my old P4 save, I remembered basically rage quitting the true ending boss, and just watched some cutscenes on YouTube, I also remembered more or less using just one persona. Haha. It was my first persona game. Good old Tam Lin. I figured my list of personas would be bad but I was still a bit shocked just how bad, basically just Tam Lin and a bunch of level 35ish personas. LOL. Contrast with FES were I just mopped the floor with the endgame encounters, how times have changed!
^Gonna miss this.

Found the bank...as I referenced...which is good. But also for some reason I couldn't access the quest paper chase. Guess I need to just bump into this random dude to activate it? Well I do need the money.
If you want coin, don't bother with this quest. For all the headache-inducing runaround, all you get is 500 coins. Better to deep dive for some smugglers caches and sell the loot, or take out a hanse and pick up everything not nailed down. Remember you can also get crafting materials by dismantling other items. You need acid (I think) to make enriched dimeritium, which means taking out the creepy attack plants and giant worms.

The only thing I can think of is one of the settings in the EA App was set to use your Andromeda folder as your default installation folder for the EA App. The other possibility is if you clicked to pick a folder and had the Andromeda folder highlighted.

But I appreciate the advice.

Yeah, I'm not so excited about the Gryffindor one, but I think, the Slytherin one sounds cool. And yes, I saw that scene with Ominis - one reason more to like him, quite a funny dialogue. I love Ominis, he's such a sweetheart...Poppy too, Natsai...50/50 and Seb is...well, being Seb an idiot of a boy who thought he knew best even when everyone around him got the giant sign from Aveline that says DON'T ( Varric: you could hit people with it!) though I do plan on not turning him in next time around...kinda wanna tell him about Rookwood myself this time around it was so satisfying to kill that son of a b-tch after learning the truth about what happened with Anne, I killed him with ancient magic, turned him into millions of teensy little pieces *laughs manically* Just have to decide on a new name for the new character (my biggest nemesis in games, naming characters...right up there with designing them and giving them a background) Ominis is the best. I love Poppy too and like Natty. But my best buddy is Deek, I mean, I face acromantulas for that little guy. I also like the teachers, Sirona and of course Logbok. And I wished, Amit had a bigger role.

people on Reddit do say that if you cast Lumos near the windows in the Slytherin common room you attract fish...no idea if it's true (At least Ominis gets a good laugh out of it by telling first years that mermaids frequent the common room windows Fish are indeed drawn to the Lumos. And there are mermaids! Keep watching! There are a bunch of interesting Lumos details - it changes paintings with werewolves for example. And when you cast it, any follower casts it too... except Ominis.
