Hogwarts Legacy
I accidently deleted my Hufflepuff playthrough and now I don't know, if I should just restart, using some mods or ask customer service, if they can restore it.

If you play online Steam should have backed up the saves on Cloud. Just start up the game and Steam should bring back the saves.

SkyrimI punched a dragon to death! I'm so very proud of my Nord Wulf now. I also found a low cost ranged destruction spell (I'm using Apocalypse), so I'm good to deal with future pesky dragons who don't want to land so I can punch them in the face. And I'm going to have to craft resist element potions, because hmm, unless they get staggered dragon just use their breath attack on you. I wish they brushed their teeth. I unfortunately succeeded at my persuade attempt on Mikael, so I didn't have to punch his very punchable face. Next: travel to the top of the world to talk to some Greybeards. Also, clear some side quests.

If you play online Steam should have backed up the saves on Cloud.Β Just start up the game and Steam should bring back the saves. I looked that up, but the savegame is gone there too. I decided to dust Off my Ravenclaw from an earlier save(Jackdaw), to not have to start from zero again and I really liked that character. And since I didn't know that much in my first playthrough with her, it was wonky. She will now be my herbologist witch.

Battketech
MC's company is now hated by both Taurian and Pirate factions. π These are the only two faction villains I keep running in doing the Arano SQs.
The SQs are recycled for each liberated planet. How much creativity can one do with mechs? They are always;
escort missions destroy convoy missions destroy Taurian / Pirate base missions kill a Pirate leader shepherd a group of trainees
I don't exactly have a choice since these missions bring in the dough and mech parts.

So in other gaming news I picked up Wildlands for the PC so one day can play that with wifey...and picked up Hogwarts Legacy. Witcher 3So speaking of problems with my saves when I got on and tried to load it I discovered that my save was corrupted. As it turned out though and fortunatley for my sanity and *sigh* factor one of my previous saves still worked, which was like 7 seconds lost time. Of course now I am worried I lost even more then that. First up on my play session I did the quest with Roach and the Horse. And well I also reloaded the save to cheese it because when I was looking up how to find it, I figured out that this could figure into the generosity requirement for there can be only one...so yey Aerondight...and this one makes more sense to. Bit of an interesting quest here which goes to concepts that are near and dear to my heart. Forgiveness. Not leaving someone to suffer for eternity. Redemption after a faction. Harkens back to Hearts of Stone So obvious what I did but then it kind of occurs to me its not something I always do I don't think and only kind of do for meta gaming. Because while I don't believe punishing someone for eternity...I also don't believe that someone should just be forgiven at the drop of a hat, you have to earn it. Which yeah beating your horse to death is quite the crime of passion. Thing is though ultimatley in hindisight probably the right decision since the Knight there was causing pain to the hermit because of the whole curse angle. So, had to end it on good terms. Though as I type this probbaly could have ended it on BAD terms... So got to the whole bit with the Gwent Tournament for Touisant and have to use the Skellige deck...and have to play random people to find them. Yeah not doing that right now so miving on... Whine is Sacred. This is actually a really fun quest. Don't think I got through it all but there is a lot in here which really makes this whole DLC so good. Just that little corruption just below the surface beyond the veneer of pure civilization and the perfect ideal of Tousant. It actually has a tragic fascination to me the whole conversation and the sequence of events 'no the guy can never be the traitor I have given him everything...oh arrest him! charge of high treason!' Of course what he did could be construed as such but yikes. And it does go back to the idea of just the naivete clashing with the reality. Even Touisant is kind of a crap show...which is about to come to a full head. GRBMore play with wifey. First objective for the mission we were doing was to ambush a convoy. Bit of a messy sitch because we did it as a basic drive by. Just that they were under escort, and we caught up to them right next to an enemy base. So everyone in the base and escorts and other cars all just hapepned to converge on us in the first place which resulted in a massive sprawling fire fight which we had to go through and clear out the base. Second objective...kind of funny having a lot of trouble getting sniper stuff going lately and in the above instance...but pure sniper glory at the Ancient Harbor with me and her way up in the cliffs above them. Got through and just punked the entire base from a distance...even through the buildings. They never got a shot off. And then a hostage rescue to wrap it up. First up we sniped two guards at the entrance to the cave in perfect unison it was just *chef kiss*. And well moving into the cave though there was a gunner so I lined up a synch shot under full expectation that this could go pear shaped if he was seen so I was waiting for it...and he was seen when we killed him so I pushed us into the cave and she took out the first guard that saw the gunner go down...but the funny and stupid thing was the stupid leader of the guy not only didn't react but also had his back turned to the entrance. But yey our first hostage rescue.

Hogwarts Legacy
After I accidently deleted my Hufflepuff, I decided to play my Ravenclaw Lavinia Foxglove again. I started at Jackdaws tomb and she has now the Room of Requirement (my tentacula, cabbage and mandrake production already started ), learned Diffindo (my favorite spell in combination with Glacius) and Confringo. After doing the flying class, she now has a broom too. Just now she helped a goblin painter to get his cart and his paintings back.
Gave her some new hair - and then I saw, that someone modded Professor Garlicks hair for the player, so maybe, I will use that later on (it is damn unpracticle though).

*gasp* good to know for my second playthrough I really wanted some nice longer hairs, and Garlick's hair is so pretty
Also your character looks really pretty as well

Saints Row Very much enjoying the story so far. Game has an orange tabby cat named Snickerdoodle and I like to imagine that it's the cat from Stray, taking a break from the bleakness and enjoying it's best life. They get a bunch of cutscene time but I can never find them in game. Got to the point where the gang started their own Saints gang. So far adoring everyone of the friend characters, but Kevin is my favorite and must be protected at all costs. Really like how you can chat with them in the headquarters between missions and they comment on stuff that happened. It's neat. Now only if they were a bit more chatty when being summoned between missions. At least I'm less likely to miss the dialog this way. Highlights of the last two sessions were: Saving Eli and Kevin from a party gone wrong. Really enjoyed the idea of being so good friends that you'd rush into a shooting battle wearing your pajamas because modesty was the last thing on your mind. Yeeting cars with a bulldozer. Except I was dumb the first time around and tried to fight the enemies on foot, then realized in the second attempt that the bulldozer is better than guns in a fire fight. Dragging an occupied porta potty through a parking lot, using it as a wrecking ball while interrogating the poor sod stuck inside. Unlocked Insurance Fraud, so much time was spent bouncing between cars. The maxing the adrenaline meter in this game makes the cars explode when you hit them so the carnage got kinda severe in the intersection where they ended up just bunching up together. And now I can start the activity whenever I want, so that's a dream come true. A big Mad Max LARP adventure. It was so silly it was hilarious. And the crown looked very fetching on the protag. Just driving through the desert areas. Something about the blue skies and the orange sands just speaks to me. And the cars are delightfully beefy when you're riding them. A pretty big prison break. Was kinda spooked when it started as a stealth mission. Except it was not a sneaky stealth more "Walk past quickly so they can't question you" stealth. Which I liked but I was so relieved when the guns were pulled out and the protag just started blasting. So yeah, having a blast so far.

Hardspace Shipbreaker
MC is now a level 22 shipbreaker. Everyone is pretty much muted at the start of each day.
Weaver has been silent for a few days. Wonder what's going on at his end. The overseer throws in some "bolstering" words sometimes, dangling a carrot that communications could possibly be allowed once a week but everyone's spirits is batten that the response was lackluster.
Accumulated enough points to buy over all the equipment along with the helmet, tanks and suit.
I've taken to destroying the seams that connect the panels than cut them. It's faster and preserves the entire panel compared to cutting a random line. I ignored the constant computer admonition; Valuable resources destroyed, please refrain from doing so.
A seam costs a thousand or so credits. Compared to the rest of the items on the ship that's worth millions, it's peanuts.

Finished Venom's dlc now am wondering if I should finish the game. Part of me wants to finish it but part of me wants to wait for the last two dlc's to finish the overarching storyline.

Witcher 3
Got up to starting the Land of a Thousand Fables. Actually most of the way through it.
Capture the Castle. Quite the story in there too since I have adopted Piercing Cold it does help slow anyone down but it did not actually kick in until in this quest..and it seemed to cut someone in half and drop their health to zero. So that was something. I must say a bit of a theme in some of my combat encounters now by hook or by crook something I have been noticing is just how fluid and smooth everything is. Not that I always intend to do this but it is so easy to swap between enemies with Geralt which just gives a lot more of an epic scale and Geralt as a true master swordsman. It is something that also happens with the chereography in Arrow and ACOD and hope something that they do bring to Dreadwolf successfully. Just the ability to engage multiple opponents at once. THis was brought to a head to when Detlaff and Regis showed up and just devestated everything in sight.
Which also does bring us to Syanna. First off nice touch in her trying to hide the wine bottle from Detlaff. But yeah. I think this whole thing here is something I have a lot of tragedy for...just three people royally screwing up the pooch in their own way. And just making one mistake after another. Of course at this point Syanna actually is mostly blameless. Actually its kind of weird how sympathetic she is, she just wanted to strike out at the people who victimized her, not against random civies so she offers to turn herself in. Unless she is lying in all of this. But then Detlaff and Ana Henrietta both really take their issues up to eleven. Ana by protecting Syanna and Detlaff by threatening Beuclair. And well I kind of side with Detlaff here and think Ana is acting rashly here, sure don't like emotional 'mob' justice but A. Syanna did genuinely do something wrong to him so he is the embittered party and should get genuine justice in a way...plus also it is a way for the Duchy to wash their hands of the situation and seek justice by proxy for their murdered knights. Arseholes they may be, still technically murder. B. And then the fact that horrible and immoral as his threat is, as I pointed out to wifey, he still basically has the medeval equivalent of a nuke in his back pocket. And then quite the army at his disposal. Negotating with terrorists may be a horrible idea but if these terrorists do have a significant advantage and a point, you may want to consider it.
In the end to quite surprised at just how shocked everyone was at Geralt calling the Duchess out for her BS with the hunting dog metaphor. Wife actually was all like 'well there is a huge difference between a dog and a vampire' and with that it was impossible to not pick that option. And even Regis looked like 'oh dear'. But yeah that by itself kind of lost the Duchess a lot of sympathy points.
And the illusion has been degrading for 20 years...
GRB
Wifey and I had a lot of fun. Trying to get the 416 blueprint at Shark base. Had a lot of trouble even getting there in the first place though as we had to fight through two drone/ wolf patrols which really tied us up. But we won the fights.
Then found the base and it was a perfect insertion as we sniped the gate guards and dealt with the generator in short order. It was here we got into a bit of a mexican standoff though as section by section of the base we'd get into a brief firefight, get their dandruff up, and both sides would just sit there in obvious ambush positions. Eventually she got tired and we blitzed the rest of the base essentially.

Hogwarts Legacy
So about the broomsticks. There are certain area restrictions in which it cannot be used; too small an area to fly in, Hogsmead and the tallest hills.
Otherwise, the player is free to use it at will. I found that I can fly to a treasure area in the water, dismount and drop into the water. When I'm done, I could call the broomstick and mount it.
Additionally, it can be used in combat as well, particularly against the trolls if they're standing on a cliff / high area. Get their attention, jump on the broomstick and fly over the edge of the cliff. The troll would chase, fall and die from the impact.
I'm going to try broomstick combat against the poachers. π Imagine using Accio on them from above. Would they be pulled higher? π

Marvel's Midnight Suns Finished Venom's dlc now am wondering if I should finish the game. Part of me wants to finish it but part of me wants to wait for the last two dlc's to finish the overarching storyline. I would finish it you said yourself you'll likely come back for more playthrouhg's anyway so you can play them then. As far as I know there hasn' t been an yword yet as to when th eother 2 aer coming soyou could b ewaitin ga while. I don' tthink w ewill be waiting long fo rthe other 2 but I still don't think we'll see the last come out till April or maybe May It's why I'm leavin gthe game to one side atm as I don' thave a playthrough on th ego atm so don' tneed t oremember where Iam o rhav eleft it I can just play them when I'm ready. In your case i tmade sense to play them given seeing as you'er still working through yours. I d oplan on playing it again during my comfort period but I thin kgiven I don't have an activ eplaythroug hon the go I can give them a chance t ocom eout befoer I do. Besides now tha tI've got m yHogwarts playthrough started I'm eager to see what's going to happen here. Mus tadmi teven though I'm not a Harry Potter fan I'm actually quite enjoying it.I'm definitel ygetting m yshare of DA vibes from th egam ethou ghbut don't know yet whether I'd call i ta conmfor tgame atm but in these earl ystages I could see myself counting Hogwarts as one. So could see myself doing a few playthrough's over time once I've got to grips with the game that is. I'm still early on s ocan' tcoun ti tas one ye tbu tthen I did take down a troll withou ttoo muc hfuss last night in Hogsmeade so I'm hopeful tha tif the game doesn't becom etoo much more difficult I can handle it. But i tdoesn' t feel too much different difficulty wise atm than what Mass Effect and Dragon Age do which again I like. Mus tdami tshe ma ybe onl y15 bu ts ofa rmy Lucy is proving to be a rather pretty and talented little witch

No ttried it myself yet but haven't had my flying lessons yet. As so far I've onl ygot the spells learned from the first day quests such as Reparo and Levioso I think it's called. I know one of the next spells I geto learn is the Incendio spell but need to do some tasks for Professor Hecat first but that's where I left it yesterday This was the vid I saw.

Playing Pathfinder: Kingmaker for the first time, definitely an interesting game, manages to scratch both my Dragon Age-y RPG itch and the kingdom-building Crusader Kings-ey itch. Also, the soundtrack was made by Inon Zur if I'm not mistaken. The main menu music made me think I was back in Orzammar Oh, and this absolutely has to be a Varric Tethras reference. Come on!

With Starfield being moved to release one week after BG3, I got 6 months to play old stuff now before I get two gargantuan games to play. SWTORI'm wondering if I should go back to my Consular (the last one I made, who is on Alderaan) or stick to my Sith Inquisitor. GW2My Ranger moved forward with the Skypirate episode. Now tracking down some emissaries who have gone missing to continue a murder investigation. Also, a new episode/chapter (post End of Dragons) was released, but I haven't looked at it yet. My ranger is pretty much wearing my Mechanist gear right now and I haven't taken another character through the expac yet. Too busy make new characters... SkyrimMy Brawler is now travelling toward the village at the bottom of the tallest mountain...smashing bandits, necromancer, undead things and animals along the way. I was surprised how easy it was to take down a sabercat, they usually demolish me. I need to try a brown bear.

Hogwarts Legacy
This is how the hair looks - there is a bit of clipping with scarfs. Sadly it replaces a hair, I like. I need to see it in game to decide, if I keep it or not. But since I'm meeting friends this evening, I'm not able to play, I just grabbed this screen.
