I am now full on focus on playing Atelier Ryza 2 until the end. Atelier Ryza 3 will be released on March 24, so I must have completed the second game before that. I also fully jumped into Valkerie Elysium (that I bought for 50% off on Steam a while ago), and I can say it's a nice game. I would have felt ripped off if I would have bought it for the full price though. As said, it's a decent game, but nothing spectacular...
I am playing a lot of other games too (as I mentioned in my previous posts), but these games have my main focus at this moment...

SWTORCurrently working on beating Corellia, got the shocking reveal of my Consular's story today That being that Syo Bakarn is the First Son of the Emperor *cue dramatic music* though I also need to do some recording of audio for my vids so I can delete some of the videos (starting to run out of space on my external HD )

At this rate all future Bioware games will be half done and modders need to rescue it for free.

Fun times. Lots of cutscenes might be the theme of the day.
Witcher 3
Finished up the Blood and Wine expansion and man this one is still *chefs kiss*. Although first off I did have the thing in the clouds with Syanna. Always a bit fun how I play the Geralt's who also end up with Geralt and well at least I know he has an attraction to cursed girls thanks to Renfri. Oh and she was referenced to so continuity and me getting it now *thumbs up*.
Got Detlaff in only two attempts. Granted I was playing on easy. Good thing though to because of all these cutscenes man and I was quite insistent on finishing everything up with the bootblack and everything else going on. Ugh because of things I don't want to make these comments too long but it is a little interesting how disgusted Regis acted once the plan was revealed to kill Anna as the final victim. I mean it makes sense and granted probably my bias as seeing rulers as being no different then regular people I think using Detlaff was the more dasterdly of the affairs. Though then I suppose there was the whole sister angle to. Still again given the complicated relationships going on, and giveven that all three of them made some horrible mistakes to get to where they are to paint Syanna as the ultimate evil in this affair seems a little...short sighted?
Still as Syanna points out I did want to salvage at least some kind of a happy ending out of this. So I got them to reconcile and avoided their horrible death scene. Though I guess either ending is rather fitting to the themes set up by the DLC honestly. Still touching and heartwarming. It also makes me wonder, though there is probably an answer somewhere, on what happened to Syanna afterwards. Redemption is one of my favorite concepts both IRL and in fiction but it also has to come with some attempt to acknowledge and make up for your crimes, sure for the practical aspect part of it to is neutralizing Syanna as a threat...and it is clear from her reconciliation she is unlikely to be a threat from here...so that works out but from here, what, jail time? How long? The mind boggles.
And then of course ran into Yennefer and her and Geralt are such a good couple ultimatley. Just so endearing the way she hugged him.
GRB
And this game did do something really weird which causes it to lose some points. See some missions require you to escort a ground contingent in their car with you on the gun...but you can't have your partner ride in the same car with you to provide an extra gun. This left my wife to try catching up to me...twice. In a car/ cars of her own.
Spent most of the time doing the next round for the main story. Played the Natural Hazard control center and defended it. Me and her got into a good overwatch position to defend it from the reinforcements which were coming in. Our best bottlneck, me with my 416 and her with her TAC 50. Then on the way to the AUroa survival shelter, after some difficulty at first we finally got into a good position for sniping on the ridge on the flank and just plucked away at anyone else on the perimeter. Got them a little spooked so we had to coordinate our fire and sweep through the camp.
Final mission was the one with Samuel the Hunter. And well one of my favorite side missions given that it was an impressive resolution for a hostage situation with how I pulled it off. What I am not sure I realized the full implications of but he is a bit of a canibal. Saw the Sentinel corpse on the table and not much of a leap from there. But wifey discovered in a corner a whole lotta other corpses. Some in lab coats and stuff.
Hogwarts Legacy
Boy is this game just magical so far. Kind of surprised just how excited I am to play it. That initial reveal of Hogwarts, the grounds, the castle, and everything with that music was just pure childhood fun. This could be the kind of game I have been waiting for for a long time. Though probably going to have to get used to limited role playing, le sigh.
Bit of a play on words with the name, Honor Cornwallis. At first I was quite pleased with the CC and it has its charms but really it has the same problem with a lot of CCs and a lot of BioWare ones. Hard to duplicate the efforts because there are no real codes or numerical values on them. Though think I did a fine job considering I created one character at first and then realized that Honor Nimitz was kind of a silly name and Cornwallis was a lot more...British sounding?
So usual bits of new games here...hmm I feel like honestly this is the first real Next gen game that I have played. But yes haptics are amazing, running around the bridge with the wind blowing and then when I got to cover it stopped. Fiddiling with the HDR contrast, bit dark at first so I turned up the light at first.
Combat. I think the combat has a lot of potential to be stupid fun. Such a blast so far and I am barely past the introduction. Something i may have commented on but I usually don't do the blocking mechanic that often in games and do the dodging and the rolling things but this game does really encourage you to use Protego to block enemy attacks which can help you a lot in combat. Rolling is still an option though. Couple of curious things which might be worth keeping in mind for future games *cough* bit interesting that 'R2' tapping it causes a basic cast attack and then holding it down brings up the special spell wheel...interesting. Also stupefy as being not its own spell but part of Protego is, well, interesting and a little dissapointing I suppose. Can't wait to dive into the spells more.
And the beginning of this game is just *chefs kiss* Great start honestly.

And the beginning of this game is just *chefs kiss* Great start honestly. Yeah that was the vibe I was getting when I started playing Marvel's Midnight Suns as I did grow up watching superhero cartoons and readin gtheir comics and such especially Spiderman and Hulk given they're both in Midnight Suns. Gettin gto create my own characte rthe Hunter and play in their universe in an RPG felt simply magical i twas like a game I've been wanting and hoped fo rfo ryears. I'm glad rto have played it and I'm looking forward t oplaying again once all the DLC is released I will say tha tHogwarts gives me Dragon Age vibes though as it definitely feels like a similar typ eof story as a DA just without squadmates. Sure you do have a friend with you on one or 2 missions but it's moer like HZD in that you don' t really pic kthem they just tag along to help a bit or it's a favour fo rthem you're doing. Combat hasn't been too difficult as of yet for me but then I still don't think I'm tha tfa rin mostly because I've spent mos to fm ytim ewandering around the castle as finding m ywa yaround has probabl ybeen my biggest headache as the place is a lo tlike a maze and geography has never been my strong suit. I kno wthat'll ge teasier though as on subsequent runs I'll remembe rwhere things are but initia;l playthrough's will be slower for me because of this because I don't know where I'm going.

Must admit I'm looking forward t olearning t ofly as it'll make getting around easier. I mean being able to use the floo flames to fas ttravel is great but I've been looking forward t otrying flying out.

I als ounlocked m yroom of requirementtoda ywhic hwas pretty good. That's on top of getting m yflying lessons and m ybroom. I'm not doing any of the racing bits jus tusing it to get around really as I prefer t ocasual fly not race fly as getting the broom t o go through the rings is hard. GW2
I went back to my Sylvari Reaper. I stopped playing her about where my Norn Ranger was at. I now need to find clues about the sky pirates and after that bust their secret hideout.
SWTOR
I did some stuff on Alderaan with my Consular for the locals. Next I have to go meet some noble so I can become their delegate to a summit. But I might go back to Voss to continue my Inquisitor instead. Alderaan is so boring on the Republic side...
Skyrim
My Brawler made it to Ivarstead, I'm annoyed that there are no merchant in town. I picked a lot of loot on the way there.

Ghost Recon BreakpointBit of a situation of going down a bit of a rabbit hole. Hmm. Starting off on a bit of an easter egg hunt looking for Mads friend, the one that was tied into the eventual nuclear bomb bit. Took a little bit to get through things but I did eventually find his corpse. Next up on the list though one of those situations where we had to wait for the next mission in that particular chain so I figured on doing the next mission for the faction story in order to give us an excuse to come up. And down the rabbit hole we went. Though the first mission was to gather up the homesteaders to get them to Erewhon. Got to the homestead in question and Sentinel had already gotten there. Had to rescue Layla but had a lot of sentinel in the AO. Started to deal with them somewhat messily but this left only the two guards in the room. I was figuring on being a bit sneaky since we didn't have eyes on...and my wife put two armor busters in through the building to kill the guards. Risky but it works. And Kyle and Emmet was captured by Sentinel... And then Kyle showed up. The whole virus plotline. Went to the hospital as to his urging and my plan was to be all sneaky and snipey but for some reason I flew low and they got wind of me...usually in these situations you just fly off a bit and they quiet down, for some reason this did not happen. This got us into an extended sniper duel, I even went down, also then had some trouble trying to get the generator. Then wife got very pissed at the internal layout of the hospital. Also good time to mention the M110 sounds cool and has a few descent bits but I was having a lot of trouble trying to hit things reliably at range. So on that note for the next mission I officially switched back to the Barret. And not only did the sniping go a lot better but the sniping went a LOT better. I was having a devil of a time trying to complete the challenges for the M110 but I was cleaning house with the Barret. Perhaps the highlight of which was wifey suggested we blow up the helicopter to prevent the skell guy from escaping. He did so anyways but we kept on it. Then wifey took overwatch protecting us from the Wolves which were all around though a few of them got through to the perimeter so I was able to get them. Funny thing is blowing up the helicopter backfired since we had to escort the guy back to Erewhon. So we had to drive all the way there. But this gave us a cool and cathartic experience as we took a mini gun to many patrols and vehicles, revenge for the plaugue, whiddling down their military assets, I am sure Stone would have a bit of a fit for our 'thunder run.' Hogwarts LegacyThe combat is actually may be a bit more complicated then I gave it credit for and a bit tougher, but also more intense in a good way. Round two of the dueling club left me breathing a bit on the heavy side. On the negative side it might be a bit easy to get overwhelmed and having to rember the colors to do the proper counters and is it opposite colors or the same colors? Also going to really have to get used to the whole 'disillusionment' charm thing. Also getting used to the economy and more importantly the gear and the transmog system. Inventory works like the bad inventory systems and I am *not* happy that the limit is only twenty slots. That is going to need to lead to a lot of selling, though I will need the gold. Bit fun with the transmog that you can make anything dissapear on the body, and you get to put a hood up to. Plenty of options for roleplaying but much like in previous games you have to crawl through menus to get to it. Though that didn't stop me from doing so. Because RPing with clothes is awesome. Had the robe off when I was exploring the back country but put the robe back on at night with the hood up. Also day night cycle...kinda odd but I'll take it. So going to do the quest spoiler thing...if that is OK? Welcome to HogsmeadSo we ran into two trolls and vaporized one of them with the ancient magic. Also this game has the 'yellow means you can block, red you can't.' thing...pretty common RPG trope. Another thing to keep in mind on that.
Of bigger concern though we have our Goblin lord working with a human dark wizard named Rookwood who was ballsy enough to follow us into the three broomsticks, though I must say that it is actually a good piece of writing on the game's part that we weren't able to just sneak away and Rookwood was actually able to find us. Though it is also once again the hillarious nature of the HP universe. IRL we are worried about teenagers being able to defend themselves, in the HP universe two dark wizards enter a bar and have like 20 people pointing wands at them...many of them kids...who can use magic that can cut you to ribbons or set you aflame.
Secrets of the Restricted SectionDisillisionment could be a real interesting mechanic not quite full proof, but it does help.
So yeah actually gotta bring up two things here but they are still relevant. Man they are really laying on thick the whole 'I'm a fifth year' thing and the Sebastian 'I have a sister' thing.
And the ancient magic thing actually has some small hints of Dragon Age Inquisition and the Inquisitor. Though just another layer of the combat which makes it a real interesting lair which adds further complexity which complex combat , well its cool because it gives you a lot to do.
Morganach...Morgana? Merlin a Slytherin?
And Sebastian is in a lot of trouble now and refernce to an uncle and how 'detention is obviously not enough'. This game is not afraid to pull punches it seems and is laying a lot of ground work. Night ended on a bad note. A side quest involving goblins and again think I need to learn how to make/ buy healing potions and well learn how to avoid attacks more. But when it reloaded...all the enemy's were gone and the quest completed. Oh dear that was a bit of a relief but a pretty significant bug none the same.

At this rate all future Bioware games will be half done and modders need to rescue it for free.

Hogwarts Legacy
Lavinia finished the first trial and beast class. She also helped Mr. Moon with his demiguise problem and is now doing some tasks for professors to learn more spells.
The RoR looks like a green house now and most of the pensieve guardians in teh first trial were defeated by chomping cabbages and venomous tentaculas
I decided to deinstall the Garlick hair again - it just clipped too much and wasn't really nice, when you run around. I use the Grey Lady hair mod now

I agree, the scarf is wonderful (for whoever doesn't want to get spoiled by clicking on the picture - even though it is not a really big spoiler, it is a Ravenclaw scarf with the eagle on one side).

GW2
My Necro cleared out the Sky Pirates hideout. After that episode was concluded, I started the Clockwork one which introduce: Scarlet!
Skyrim
I went up the mountain, then down the mountain. They could at least invite me for the night, it was dark and cold. I sleep at the local inn down the mountain and then I wrapped back to Whiterun to buy an house and sell stuff. Lots of stuff to sell.
I cooked some portable meals in my new house and filled the cupboards of ingredients. The food and potions kind. Now I'm ready for more adventures. I need to find something for the old men at the top of the mountain.
And I'm now realizing that if you remove the name of the places talking about Skyrim makes you sound super weird.
