I had no clue. Time ran out and the Enterprise went boom... ...I reloaded... Barclay didn't ask me to input the codes. Instead I got a msg to get to the bridge to repel the intruders. Ok, apparently the game forgot about the code to eject the warp core procedure. Sounds like the AI knows what's good for its self-preservation 🤣

ST Elite Force II Ok, the bad in this game. There's no visual clue when NPC tells you; scan ABC console with your tricorder to shut down EFC. I stood in engineering looking around despite the ticking clock, looking for the console Barclay was talking about. I ran around the room with the tricorder out, hoping something would pop. It did. Once I connected all the nodes, he said; go to console ERG and input the code to eject the warp core. The code is 911567 (or something like that). I stood still again, looking for this console he wanted me to go to. I had no clue. Time ran out and the Enterprise went boom. I reloaded and it was at the connecting nodes section. This time it went faster but surprise, Barclay didn't ask me to input the codes. Instead I got a msg to get to the bridge to repel the intruders. Ok, apparently the game forgot about the code to eject the warp core procedure. Next the intruders sent teams to the hull to hack into the computer core. There're three groups of them. Munro had to go to the hull and get rid of the intruders. Tuvok then said he lower the gravity. I went out to the hull, jumped and couldn't come back down. I couldn't reach the portable terminals the intruders brought because they're behind rotating shields. I have to jump and land inside but for some reason, I could not go down. After several frustrating failures, I shut the game and did a search. The solution was to lower the fps to 60. Any more than 60 the game could not handle which is the reason why the character remained floating instead of automatically coming down after a jump. Lowering the fps to 60 did it. Muh childhood. One of the first games I got for a Christmas way back when. ANd yeah I do remember some frustration with that bit in the game...and others later on. Hogwarts LegacyYou know doing the assignments and stuff actually does give a very good excuse to go out in the back country and do side quests. Since your opprotunities for combat/ duelling is fairly limited on the Hogwarts grounds itself. The shame is that most of the side quests are pretty bog standard. Though probably the main time I tonight was one of the best yet. I forget the name of it so I won't spoil it but it did involve hunting down someone's brother who was seen practicing dark magic. Turns out he was being attacked by goblins so he wanted to fall in with Rookwood in order for himself to feel safe again...you can see the irony of this little situation. Speaking of things though the Inferni are properly terrifying. And the proprietor of the more deadly plant place in Hogsmead is quite the trip. Final note I did have this idea that I wanted to test out, given the nature of Thunderbrew. I thought that it would be a good idea to go in and sneak up to a group of enemies and then drink that...turns out it wasn't as efective as I would have thought. Maybe Mandrakes instead? Ghost Recon BreakpointFunny moment at the start of things. Me and wifey both had to interrogate two people who had info for us out in the field. We both were able to knock them down and started pestering them and grabbing them. Which led to the following exchange. Her: Look honey I have a new Boyfriend. Me: *has an idea* *shoots the guard*. Her: *laughs* Had a devil of a time trying to find the initial objective that we were looking for the quest 'A Soul in Rest'. Our initial supposition was right but for some reason it didn't actually trigger that the quest giver was by the 'Ancient Village'. Exploration mode can be a fickle thing sometimes. From there though went to go to the next bit of intel. We were supposed to find someone to interrogate for the next clue. This led to a bit of an enemy base which we cleared out kind of well. Got to basically our initial overwatch point with little problems but I detonated an explosive pack on an RPG person which got some people really upset. But then they calmed down despite us causing explosions and killing a whole bunch of thier guys. So we then had to basically move in from there to clear out the rest of the bad guys that were inside buildings.

SWTORAll Hail Darth Nox, member of the Dark Council, head of the Sphere of Ancient Knowledge! I finished my Sith Inquisitor core storyline...and I feel terrible by all the decisions I made on Corellia planet story. Some of the SI cutscenes are pretty cool on Corellia too. I think I'm going to continue her post core content, unless Ilum kill my mood. She reached the level cap too. It's probably the first time I do all the Imperial side quests on Corellia, I didn't even remember the planet storyline. I think I've done it once years ago. I did remember the SI one thought, I finished a male SI like 2 years ago. Looking at what happens, I think the SI has the largest power base of all classes. A couple of Moffs and their fleets, including a ship that can blow up an entire fleet by itself. A few Darths and Lords of the Sith. A cult. Also, She is at the apex of the Sith, well as high as one can go without being the Emperor. She is also totally crazy...

Hogwarts LegacyFor the combat there seems to be a few enemies in the game that are really...meaty. Those dug things can be super annoying and trolls. Opened up getting killed by a Dug which did confirm that you can just die. And then got into a fight with a pair of trolls and a smattering of goblins. And well I was able to hold my own though it was taking a looonnng time and then towards the end of it it seemed like one of the trolls regenerated their health which could be a bug. But regardless since I had already gone through over half my wiggenweld's decided to beat sticks. Hmm note to self gotta use maybe more defensive potions in the future. In the heading of 'things I wish I knew going into it for potential next playthrough'. Shouldn't waste time buying just the normal things not neccessarily and get to buying the recipes/ seeds or whatever for them so I can actually grow my own. I guess this would be a requirement when I get the room...of requirements. Other combat note I decided to look into things because I saw vague mentions of 'Petrificus Totalis' But then I checked and like I was figuring the spell wasn't in the spell list. So looked into it and kind of as I suspected it was the thing you did in stealth to the enemy. So I figured out how to actually use stealth and do that whole thing. Which is funny because the game then told me how to do it in the next quest so I wasn't stupid, I was actually being proactively smart. The inventory system in this game is giving me fits but I must say that in terms of cosmetic value a lot of the collections in this game and the gear all look distinctive and a lot of effort went into making all the clothing look distinct and not just different colored skins, more or less, there is some repitition in gear for different levels but I must say. Got the Protector's Regalia which is probably going to be Honor's next 'long term' get up. Though I also got the Legendary Armor thing which looks like armor out of Lord of the Rings/ Dragon Age as my wife pointed out but who knows might make this her 'adventuring' garb. THough thinking of a second playthrough and this might fit a more muhahaha character to. I also was finally able to ifnd a bitchin cape that goes with any of these gear pieces, the Celtic cape is gorgeous. The Map Chambter/ Professor Rackham's First trial So Fig meets Proffessor Rackham and we discover the secret of the Map Chamber, which looks has a bit of a KOTOR/ Andromeda vibe to it. Interesting. I do wonder where these trials will go long term.
From there though we went to the Goblin area to learn the Petrificus Totalis spell and how to use it in combat. Stealth optional though. Stealth is now fun and doable in this game but I was pretty sure I was going to be discovered so I jumped the gun and just engaged them in combat. I must say that some of my favorite moments in this game is the tag teaming with other companions. Professor Fig certainly held his own.
And from there started doing the first trial.

And from there started doing the first trial. Yeah you can die as I'v died around about 6 times in the game at least I think. Thankfully if you rsmart you can avoid death mos tof the time as it's no ttoo bad it's more if you'er fighting at or near a cliff edge you need t obe careful as you can' treally use the dash mechanic in those areas otherwis you risk going over the edge and dying. As for Inventor yyeah it's a pain but the only wa yt obe able t opick up moer is completing the Merlin puzzles. I've completed a couple of them othres aren' tas easy. I'm thinkin gbecause I'm almost done on my curren trun I may giv ethem a proper go on m ynext an djus tmak edo wit hwhat I have. I would definitely recommend saving the canbages and mandrakes for when you have to fight the big boss types lik etrolls or the bigger spiders like the Matriarch's or Acromantula's I think they're called and o fcourse the Absconde ras I don't know if you've crossed wands with that beast yet.Yeah there are som ereall ynice looking outfits in the game and I'll admit I lik ethe capes in th egame as well. I tend to headcannon that sometimes if Lucy in an area wher she has t oswim a bit or something she keeps a change of clothes so sh ecan strip off and put a cape sui ton instead or something. Mostly so she's not wearing her Ravenclaw robe all th etime. Because as gorgeous as the house robes are she needs to wear something different now and then jus tt ochang eher look a bit. I'm using a runic cape as he rback up outfit atm that looks like it splits half wy down into wha tlooks lik e2 scarf ends tha tdance rather dramatically especiall ywhen it gets windy in th egame. watchin them danc ebehind her or flapping in the wind is kind of cool actually. They remind me a little of some of Aloy's outfits from HZD in that regard. Plus seein gthe capes flappingaway when flying on the broom looks pretty cool too. It definitely gives Lucy a bit of a Supergirl look.

Disco Elysium
So I discovered I can pass time quickly by hanging out on a bench, so I advanced to bed time on Day 2 so I could open up the new area on Day 3. Met up with Lt. Kim again and first went back behind the hotel to examine the multiple sets of footprints. There were 8 sets, but only 7 union workers inside, so someone is missing. Have to follow that up later.
Then headed up the coast to find more stuff and people to talk to. Stumbled upon a submerged vehicle, which turned out be Harry's but after the shock wore off, he was finally able to recover his police badge. Now that company rep will have no excuse for not talking to him!
Found the two people the slimy union boss wants to sign a waiver to give up their property but Harry doesn't want to boot them out of their meager living quarters so he's going to find another way to get it done. Also found a new place to crash at night, that doesn't cost any money! so he'll probably start sleeping there instead of the hotel. In checking it out the first time he found a shaving kit and made quick use of it. He now appears a little more kempt and presentable.

SWTORMy newest Consular is now done with her Chapter 1 and she saved the Jedi Order. I'm still not sure if she's LS or DS. She tend to like killing bad guys, make the pragmatic choice, but she also save people sometimes. I was actually planning to make her slightly DS so it fits better with a Lana's romance, but she has x2 LS points vs DS points so far. Even if I never get that far with the character... And why she has so many LS points , because Consular chapter 1 as DS is stupid and not followed upon at all that it's not worth going for it. Chapter 2 and 3 works very well as DS thought. Now my BH and Consular are at the same "point": the start of their Chapter 2. My Darth Nox did some "side content" on her free time. Namely Microbinoculars and the Seeker Droid starting quests. I like having the binoculars and seeker droid for other things than those quests, but you need to start them to have access to the two features. So I went and did the related Taris stuff along the bonus series there. It was a bit of a slug thought. Also, I wanted to see Darth Acina and you don't talk to (or see) her unless you start Seeker Droid until, hmm, Iokath I believe. It's kinda sad that the SI doesn't interact with Vowrawn thought. He shows up in the Dark Council room at the end of the origin story, but doesn't talk.

I went ahead and started another P4G pt, this time with dates of when I get certain non-store books written down. It's early October in game and I managed to get all of the books I wrote down. Now to read all of them.
Got mini heart attack when power went down in our building and I forgot when I last saved. I tend not to save as often when I play the game the second time in a row, so I really hoped I wouldn't have to redo huge chunk. Fortunately I had to redo only one Social Link event, so crisis averted.
I also started Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. Picked P3 side, so I got to witness Theodore in ridiculous pink apron early on. Marvelous.

Hogwarts LegacySo the Alohamora spell so far might be the second worse hacking/ lock picking mechanic behind the one to the original BioShock. At least so far. Wifey says she figured it out but I have no idea what she did, will have to have her show it to me or something later. Probably. I am a little worried of this game. Probably my paranoia speaking and I still think this game could just, well slow burn in a lot of its inreoductory stuff. Still worried I am missing whole characters and plot lines out there . Just see people getting mentionined like online and stuff and...nope...still have not run into these people yet. Though there was the case in point of what the Hogwarts grounds keeper is having me do with Alohamora in the first place so yeah. Actually its a little bit fascinating how this game does introduce stuff over its run time. But I guess more on that in... Professor Rackham's trialsSo first off had to look up the solution to the puzzle that I was stuck on almost immedietly off the bat in the PS help section. Those things are *really* helpful and I suppose there is some gratification that of all the sections in the quest this was only one of the two that had a dedicated video to it. And the solution wasn't so obvious so I don't feel *so* dumb.
And well this led to the second boss fight that I have had in the game, which caused me to burn through eight wiggenwelds. Ugh. I swear I am using the block a lot more in this game then in any other, as I mentioned, but it still seems finicky...I swear I got a block up in time, yellow cursor, and it just knocked me the heck out.
And one more bit with the Pensieve to and 'Morganach' is really being interesting. We go from her wanting to take away her father's pain, noble goal but we have seen how that could be a bad thing...especially where magic is concerned (not to mention that the implications of using Ancient magic to do so to). To her being a Hogwarts professor and inviting the others to a gathering of some sort. Wifey and I picked up on the 'hmm' nature of her request and it ended on an obvious cliff hanger. I found there to be a fun fact though that Rackham was the Divination professor of his time apparently and we also met Charles Rookwoof. Curiouser and Curiouser.
In the above vein, I spend way too much time worrying about this crap but then I did pay nearly 70 bucks for this... but yeah the season changed to fall which I did suspect was going to happen soon, this would seem to be a good act break. And well the changing of the seasons would be good act breaks and you could have fall, winter, and spring, make natural breaks for a three act structure to. Just the thing is it mentions the 'final seeker' and has given a list of objectives to do get there. Hmm. 'Final' might be final. Of course two outstanding issues for this is the final seeker could very likely end up being Morganach, even if she did end up betraying them could open plenty of room for further story explanation AND I would be a bit dissapointed in this game's story if it did involve just a whole bunch of figuring things out...with no implications for the present. So, finding the final seeker could just be the next part of the act break. And then act 2 in books always tend to be the longest so we'll see.

At this rate all future Bioware games will be half done and modders need to rescue it for free.

Hello, and now we manage to pull an escape from the Casino jail and then we switch over to Luke Skywalker in his self imposed exile (that new Jedi Order lasted way too short):

So, finding the final seeker could just be the next part of the act break. And then act 2 in books always tend to be the longest so we'll see. The season's change after each keeper trial. As they're kind of treated as end of act levels i nthe story Muc hlike th eDeep roads expedition, City wide qunari fight and the clearing of the gallows were in DA2. You'll see why th keepers do wha tthey do once you've completed them all. Bu tyou need t ocomplete al ltheir trial sfirst t ofull yunderstand it because it's not revealed after the firs ton eo r2 you hav et ose eal lo fthem. Thankfull you will see them all befoer the final mission though because the final trial is not the final mission. I believe the fight with Ranrok is which is m ynex tquest. As I managed t odeal with Rookwoo dand Harlow yestreday leaving Ranrok on his own. So I'll probabl yb efinished wit hthe gam etoday I suspect. I'v eenjoyed it and I'm looking forward t om ynext run but I won't b ejumpin ginto that yet. Mostly because I'm planning on going back to the MELE and finishin gth erun of that I started some time ago befoer I try m yhand at Forspoken. Hogwarts is a fun game though these spells are all fun t ouse. Also I will say if Hogwarts doesn't turn you into an animal lover I don't know what game will especially after completing Poppy's quests. As those quests were adorable.

GW2After a lots of SWTOR yesterday I advanced my Reaper story a bit. She has now recruited everyone for the summit at the Grove after helping Tami with a Phlunt problem and an evil plant one. And of course, Mommy is playing hostess. SWTORThis morning I switched my Consular to Deception (she has Assassin and Sentinel as available specs and I kept her at Hatred and Watchman before). What happened? I remember it (Deception) being good at one-shotting normal mobs, but I don't remember all the lightning FX it has now. There are even lightning strikes that fall down from I don't know where now. I might have to move my Sith Inquisitor to it over Hatred. I cleared the Fortitude super fast with her and now have to go down on Balmorra liberate a planet singlehandly. I'm that good of course.

Disco Elysium
I've decided I'm not really enjoying this game much but I will finish it to find out who killed the dead guy. I'm not sure if it's the political bullshit everywhere or that I don't really like any of the characters, or something else. Or all of the above. Anyway, made it to Day 4.

Ugh So I was uploading some of my SWTOR vids, and got to one that got corrupted during the rendering stage...and I no longer have the footage either since I deleted it once I finished rendering And of course there's no way for me to replay that part either, since it's an MMO *sigh* Well...guess the only thing I can do is get my other Consular to substitute that part since she didn't play that

Hogwarts Legacy
Lavinia did the quest In the Shadow of the Mountains with Sebastian - and I really don't get, why people like him so much. He is a little piece of shit tbh.
He is constantly complaining, when things don't go exactly as he wants. He is urging Lavinia to use her ancient magic to help his sister, despite not knowing anything about the side effects, that are clearly there. He screams at her when she mentions Lodgok as a friend, when she wants to take the stealthy approach - basically when she breathes. I'm glad, you can call him out on it, but he is such an entitled little brat. I think, I will him turn in again, there is no way, he will bounce back from all the darkness, he has inside him. People are speculating, that he might become an antagonist in HL 2 and I tend to agree. Maybe we team up with Ominis to stop him then.
Then I did the quest Lodgoks loyalty and that one is heartbreaking I really like Lodgok and was sad, when Ranrok killed him. And that he and Fig never had the opportunity to talk and possibly bond over Miriam is especially tragic. Lodgok could have used all the friends, he can get, with his brother being against him.
As a palette cleanser after those really heavy quests, I did do the Ghosts of our Love quest, where you follow some floating candles. And of course I did tend to my beasts - always nice.
I'm not looking forward to more Sebastian, I'm so done with that character - and since I know whats coming

...I feel like crying I just...I just deleted about half of the footage I had for SWTOR, on accident and I can't get the files back hours upon hours of playing, just gone because I was too tired to check what I had selected when I wanted to delete files
I'm going to try and recover them somehow...otherwise, I'm just going to crawl into a hole somewhere and die
