GW2I moved on the story a bit until I opened the Silverwaste and I'm annoyed that you can't complete that map unless you do a successful Vinewrath meta. It's a long chain of events to get there and you need a lot of players. The map where people are actually there to do it is usually full too so "passer by" only get the failure maps. Anyway, I'll go back to it a few times for the story, so I'll probably get lucky eventually... There is also two other areas blocked by events on that map, but those can be soloed. Still, the devs were on a roll back then with the concept. SWTORI'm a chronic restarter. I remade my consular after finishing Tatooine. She's a Shadow now instead of Guardian/Sentinel. Same look, different outfit, weapon and name. I'm not even done with Tython. I have also been thinking about getting the Tatooine stronghold. But I'm not quite ready to commit yet. I use the Nar Shaddaa one as my main base since the feature was added to the game, but I'm a bit tired of all the air pollution . I also got the capital worlds and fleet strongholds, but opposite factions have limited access. Also, not quite as homey as a planet stronghold.

SWTORFinished up Ord Mantell today with my new Togruta Smuggler, suffice to say she's not very taken with Corso and readily called him out on his bs about "not wanting to hurt women" Didn't kill Syreena though...I kinda didn't mind having her around, to be fair would've taken her over Corso any day
So presently I'm aboard the Republic Fleet, getting ready to recruit Treek and do the Esseles Flashpoint, though I'll be doing those tomorrow

SWTOR
Played some more of my honorable Sith. I'm taking a page out of Count Dooku from the prequels. He was neither homicidal like Vader or sadistic like Sidious. I'm going by the films if he's different in the books or Clone Wars series let me know. So yeah my Sith Warrior is the Count Dooku type. As for the game did a quest for Darth Baras where I had to acquire an important prisoner. Then did a side quest where a Sith Lord wanted me to distribute a painful toxin through the water supply of the rebel slaves. Causing the slaves excruciating pain. My Sith spoke to an Imperial Officer who told my Sith it was better killing the slaves off than watching them writhe in pain. So my Sith agreed with the Imperial Officer and distributed the modified toxin. My Sith went back to the Sith Lord afterwards and told him the slaves all died. The Sith Lord was annoyed but he did not suspect any treachery from my Sith. I did one more story mission where I had to find out why the slaves in the rebellion were killing each other. I forgot why they were killing each other but I remember the leader of the slave rebellion wanted to be Sith, so he was having the weak slaves killed. My Sith accepted the leaders proposal and went back and told the quest giver.

I found the quest, Acquired Taste, in which a Banuk shaman asked for various machine oil to drink. I don't see the point of this SQ since there's no affirmed lore to be gained from it except xps and a treasure chest. This is an annoying fetch quest requiring five different machines to be killed. Its saving feature is that there's a FT point in front of the house.
I also found another two SQs in a village. One is about a pair of lovers, another about stolen fruit. I've also finished the Zero Dawn facility quest, Sun Ring quest and repelling the invaders from Nora homeland. What's left is one of the main quest side, Gaia Prime area, DLC and final battle.
Rather than do the DLC last, I'm going to do it before the final fight since the game is reset to this point once everything is done.

They aren't mandatory until Ilum (if you want to finish the storyline), but the story related one have a story mode so you can solo them. I haven't grouped for a flashpiont in years. The story related ones have a purple quest icon like class and main planet story quests. It start off right after you leave your starter planet and get to the Fleet. When you have "get a shuttle to Coruscant" you can do the Esseles in story mode instead of picking the shuttle. The Imperial side can do the Black Talon to go to Dromund Kass instead. Then in Chapter 2, after the first planet (Taris for Imps, Balmorra for Pubs) you can do a mini-storyline via flashpoints. These ties-in with the Ilum storyline and the Shadow of Revan expac later. Republic do Taral V and Maelstrom Prison. Imperial do Boarding Party and The Foundry. Then once you get to Ilum, the storyline ends with The Battle for Ilum and False Emperor flashpoints. As a tiny spoiler, the last boss in False Emperor is back since 6.0 (Onslaught expac) too. Directive 7 also has a story mode and purple quest icon, but it's not connected to the storyline (so far) and I can be skipped without missing anything. After Ilum, all the flashpoints added are story related since it became the primary way to add story missions by BioWare outside of expac.

Welp, with not-specifically-directed inspiration from Serza and seven , I'm now only 25,868ly from the bubble. I should be back before the end of the year Pretty out here though... Also, Space Lightning! Wait, is that a BELUGA of all things? You're insane. I wouldn't have gone out there without a DBX or a Jumpaconda. Or perhaps building a good Phantom.
I have a DBX. I never use it. Actually an Anaconda too that I haven't figure out what to do with. But I did entertain the Jumpaconda idea for a while, which is why I bought it originally. I use my AspX for all my exploration.

I played the Diablo 4 beta this weekend. Not sure how I feel about it for there are quality of life improvements and changes that I think are good, but since it was capped at level 25 and the first act. I stopped at level 20 since there is a reward in the release version of the game for reaching that point. I did get two characters to that point and there are a few issues, but overall it is another Blizzard game that has been modified to fit with the desires of recent gaming has.

Additionally, a super duper droid is assigned to you if you're solo-ing. I can't remember if it's present in the early FPs but it's available in the later ones. I love that droid so much. I pretty much let it tank everything. 😄 If it gets destroyed, another one comes in.

I always set my companion to DPS when it is available since it can heal and tank better than them.

He does spout information if you listen closely about the machines and their history that alludes to what is happening re them becoming more aggressive and the new types of more military/aggressive machines being created.

Finished Gaia Prime and moved into Frozen Wilds. Although the Banuk outfits are in the inventory, I didn't bother to change Aloy out of her Nora Adept outfit as the buffs are about the same. Wearing a Banuk outfit doesn't keep her warm anyway, she still shivers in it.
I'm spending a lot on Echo ammo as I preferred to blast parts off the machines. I forgot the Daemon machines love charging instead of staying a distance so I was nearly trampled in the initial fight. It's a challenge to land a Tear shot in the midst of numerous dodges. Fun!!! 😁 Half the time, the arrow simply zipped into empty space.
Sometimes however, the Daemon machines crowded one another, especially the Snapmaws that it's rather funny to see the effect of a few Tear arrows on a couple of them standing on top of a killed Snapmaw. The blasts propelled the dead Snapmaw into the air that I thought it's still alive.
Finished the quest about pipes; this girl who thinks banging on the pipes is music. It's awful. I generally lower the sound since this quest also involves recordings from the Dam personnel and their ragtag music which is terrible. It's not music, it's ear damaging noise. I'm wondering if the third installment would finally have some nice Old Ones music audio that Aloy could listen to.

Here's my Jumpaconda, just to give you an idea. I don't have any special FSD, just G5 Enhanced Range Mass Manager on an FSD I got from Shinrarta.
Huge tank, excellent jump range. It's a FAST ship when it comes to jumping, but handles like a brick in supercruise.

I'm wondering if the third installment would finally have some nice Old Ones music audio that Aloy could listen to. I tend to start Frozen Wilds when I do the grave hoard mission. Mainl ybecaus eI'm usuall yaround leve l30 by then which is the recommended level. Kinda lookin gforward t oplayin gZero Dawn again myself.

Horizon Zero Dawn
Good thing I am not into Photo Mode because the game looks really nice now on maxed out settings. Though I am still annoyed you can't easily turn off Depth of Field, Lens Flare and a few other crappy effects. Is NG+ harder? I play on the Normal difficulty, but remember having an easier time in my previous run where I even used Hard. Not that I am in danger from the machines, but I believe I was taking them down faster. Probably a skill issue
I mostly roam, look for good vistas and call the wife to come see the latest pretty sight I found. In unrelated news, I was informed I am getting annoying
I am collecting the cups, flowers and figurines I didn't bother with last time. They seem to be placed around the prettiest wild spots. I wonder why
CP2077
A new Street Kid. Was planned as handgun/knife/stealth survivalist, but ended up as once again a Hacker/Katana machine. I still do the other parts, but in the end am mostly slashing things up. I watched the Edgerunners anime (Arcane is obviously much better) and started using Sandevistan. Modded the game so I can still do quickhacks, because I like Pinging stuff. Now I am the knight of street justice. If I see gang members, and I mean any gang members, I stop the bike, go into slow mode limb chopping and leave before anyone has time to react. Doesn't matter if they were minding their own peaceful business, watched TV in their backyard or danced around a fire. V hates gangs, mk? She has suffered too much from them in her life. Now it's time for reckoning!
Went with some different choices this time around. Sided against Militech and helped the cyber-maniac-gang. Then sent Jackie's body to Victor - which apparently locks you out of the ofrenda. Realized it too late and didn't want to reload and lose a few hours of done tasks. Choices and consequences, amirite?
Stealth is kinda pointless in this game, isn't it? You can do it, but enemies get alerted far too easy. A body on the 5th floor, hidden below a desk? Someone smoking a cig on the 1st floor somehow sees it and alerts everyone. Far easier and more fun to charge and pick a different gory fate for each poor bastard. Tested Monowire, wasn't impressed.
And RT effects seem to be a gimmick half the time. Sometimes they do add some extra shadows, but too often the differences between RT on and off is negligible. The reflections are more noticeable, but still not something that changes the feeling of the art style.

Yeah I don't use photo mode much as I don' t really have space for it as space can be a bit of a premium on my machine at times. I mostly only use i ton occasion when conrtibuting t opics of ou rprotagonists threads around here outsid eof that I don' t really touch them I get too busy enjoying the game I'm playing.

NG+ isn't harder and why aren't you using Photo Mode, it's like the game was built for it.

SWTOR
Did 2 story missions one was to infiltrate Lord Grathan's estate, the other was to infiltrate the Order of Revan or Revanites (can't remember there name). Did 2 quests for the Revanites one was go to a cave where my Sith had a Force vision. The other was two retrieve Revan's mask from Lord Grathan's estate. Went to Lord Grathan's estate, first I found the mask then I infiltrated Grathan's compound. I was met with an annoying Sith who kept on calling my warrior brute and savage. I was told to kill Grathan's son. I find Grathan's son with his mother and decided to spare him and side with the son and mother against Grathan. Killed Grathan and got my reward. Brought the mask of Revan to the male Revanite.
Marvel's Midnight Suns
Did Morbius' first story mission. Morbius is pretty interesting he is a vampire but not undead he is still alive just with the benefits of vampirism. Going to do the next two story missions of his dlc tonight.

You know, I agree it's terrible. But that isn't the point. After gathering all the clips and info, and then playing the whole performance, it's angry and heartbreaking, but also defiant and resilient. It sounds terrible but I still loved it.
