And Uncharted 4 is supposed to be considered boring even by those who enjoyed the series before It was GOTY 2016, so there are certainly many who liked it.

More DOS2; I spent nearly the first hour of play realising that I've had a tonne of skill books in my inventory and not fecking read them... Rectified that and sorted through the weapons, items and armour to make sure the party was properly decked out. Was going to sneak around the Magisters headquarters in Driftwood to find the list of Sourcerers that can teach me to be a God, but decided - screw it, they're Magisters - and killed them all. First option after reading the list is Ryker, in Stonegarden. He wants a magic tablet from a cave in the Blackpits. *shudder*

At this rate all future Bioware games will be half done and modders need to rescue it for free.

Hogwarts LegacyI do wish I could remember the puns that Honor and Seb continue to fling back and forth, but then that might count as spoilers so might not loose anything afterall. Continuing to push the bounds of what is possible with the combat and the spell combinations in this game. The biggest issue is getting the muscle memory of exactly which spells are slotted where and not button mashing to get to the ones I want, but I did slam a Goblin aside with Depulso. Its all GoblegookAmit got a tad old in his constant repitions of A. 'I wonder what they're building' and B. his constant repitions that he couldn't handle it and Honor was like 'relax I got it'.
Though I find it a bit odd that she *knew* when they were done with the waves of Goblins. Like...how? I also do wonder between this and the later quest and a few other things if there is going to be any consequences to not really following the stealth recomendations of the quest and going in full cocked. It was fun though to because it gave me an excuse to wear the hood up to help hide her features...though the hood don't hide much.
At the end though...this game does continue to surprise me how deep and inter woven the story is. Sure this might say more about my expectations then the game itself or the shallowness of the side content keeps on making me surprised about the story and how well thought out it is. But talked to Loggook and why he wasn't with Ranrock and he related a story of him coming upon a Witch who treated him with respect and effectively made a deal with him.
A. This ties back into Miriam Figg since that ended up being his wife. B. It ties into some of the themes of racism which I will elaborate on later and C. It also does set up for some of the spoilery things and continues to play with the idea of being 'consumed' by the ancient magic since Logook suggests Ranrock has changed because of it. Bit of a warning. Hmm. In the Shadow of the MineSo we found out more stuff on Morganach and more journal entries. In hindsight I realize there isn't a lot to mention story wise here other then Morganach talked about taking away the pain and well that clearly means all pain (if you know you know) and she fears she has the Black Death is what I gathered from it.
Oh! And one banter I did want to relay. "You're awfully kind for a Slytherine' "and for a Ravenclaw you need to learn a lot'...or something to that effect. Still...burn.
Only real thing of note again end of the quest and talked to Seb and got more of a role playing choice whether or not to tell him about Logook or not. Again kind of that theme coming up again of keeping secrets vs not and again generally Honor has been mum about it but she 'trusts' Seb and he has been with her and they have had each other's back...both through RP and forced cannonization. So I was rather off put when he entirely went off on her for trusting a Goblin and just blamed them all for the curse on Anne and basically called me an idiot. Which then resulted in 'that was cruel'...or like they aren't all like this? God my memory is crap.
Anyways after that though I spent probably a good minute casting basic cast at him because I was rather annoyed at his overt racism here, though maybe understandable given the background, upbringing, and the Anne angle...but still...Honor is rather heart broken.

Yeah it's like he needs reminding that thereare both good and bad peopl eon both sides. We have the good guys like Aurors like Professor Sharp then you have the bad ones like Rookwood and Harlow. On the Goblin side you have good guys like that painter Arn and the Goblin looking for his mooncalf pet Biscuit and of coure Lodgok and on the bad side you have Ranrok and his loyalists. Currently sitting on leve l29 on m yplaythrough so not far from wher I need t obe t obea tthe game now. I'm starting t olean towards wanting to move the main stor yon faste rnow that I' mclosing in on the required level but I'll still continue th eside stuff a little bi tjus tin case. But I've still got 2 trials t od oeven befor eI take on Ranrok as I did the second trial and moved into winter last night. Sabrina's been one busy gal but she's proven herself good at what she does. She's a true Hufflepuff and she should be proud of it.

SWTORMy Consular did Taral V flashpoint and it reminded me why stealth class are great sometimes. So many trash avoided despite doing the bonus missions. Still took like 40 minutes. And last night I made a Sith Warrior Sorceress, after trying a Sith Warrior Sorcerer and Sorceress for a bit. I preferred the lady's voice. I changed her face, that's why I made one twice. I almost changed combat class too and go Marauder, but I decided to stick with Sorcerer a bit longer. She's at Sith High School on Korriban right now. She's wearing a cool black set of armor (from the legacy vendor), downside: that set of armor is over 10 years old now, so up close it's not as a good looking as some more recent armor set.

Baldurs Gate 3
I canned my halfling bard again, because they still haven't fixed halflings in BG3 - the animation is not good and they look just wrong. Instead, I found out, that the Warlock mod is now patch 9 ready and so I made one of my pen & paper characters - a tiefling hexblade named Olenna Shadowblade. She is more lilac in the p&p game, but the color plaette wasn't really fitting, so I changed it to blue in the game. Olenna escaped the Nautiloid ship with Shadowheart and Lae'zel and found some more survivors on a beach - a shady and unpleasant guy named Astarion - she was contemplating to kill him and still might - and a more friendly, but very inquisitive guy named Gale.
The group is investigating an old ruin right now in the hopes to find some supplies.
And because it's Dungeons & Dragons - have this happy guy here:

With the final Fallout 4 Xbox achievement done (10,000 basketballs through hoops), that's quite enough of the game until the next gen version drops. So on to Horizon Forbidden West, a new playthrough leading into the Burning Shores DLC. Good times. Ah yes, Burning Shores. Ahoy matey's, I am Captain Aloy of the SS Horizon Dawn ship. hahahahahahaha.

Part 80, ending of Chapter 2 and start of Chapter 3 The Children of the Emperor are here to cause havoc They are not very good at it... It's sad that Chapter 3 start with "lots of traitors around causing problems", but you don't see anything related to that in the other stories.

SWTORI did a bit more of Sith High School College (works better age-wise). The main antagonist on Korriban for the Sith Warrior act like a high school/college bully who's better than everyone because he "worked hard" to get there after he was found in a dumpster on Balmorra. While you play the descendant from a great Sith bloodine, who in my case can fry everyone instead of crushing them (that's the Juggy combat style). I did fry one of his pal who tried to kill me already. He doesn't know. Yet... Yes, the Sith Warrior is the inverted setup of the Sith Inquisitor. Here you kill the guy on the "rags to rich path" thanks to your superior bloodline. Well sorta, since the SI is technically from a Sith bloodline, they just don't know while at "school". I also suspect the Sith Warrior is from a nobody bloodline because it's never mentioned who's bloodline it is. It's just something that has been mentioned to them since they were kid or something. The way I look at it, Tremmel groomed you to be an expendable tool of murder for his scheming. That you don't know the Sith code is very telling I think... Speaking of Sith bloodline, I find the few side quests about Sith Purity hilarious. Especially the once that make you scan "teachers" and one of them is a questgiver that rants about purity...but he's probably not pure himself.

Uncharted 3
Played the first 90min or so. The bar brawl at the beginning was about three times as long as it should have been. Suuuper boring. Five guys would have been enough. That was ridiculous.
Off to a bad start I thought but then I enjoyed the flashback to young Nate. More Sully is always good and it was nice to learn how they met.
Very surprised to learn that Chloe is back after Nate dumped her. No explanation why so far. At least there's good banter so far. So good chance I enjoy this game more than the first one at least. Fingers crossed!

Like for example...Hunter in the Agent's story would make perfect sense to be a Child of the Emperor, at least imo.

AC Odyssey
I usually don't ride through towns and villages but for the heck of it, I did for this PT.
I rode by a bandit camp. The bandits saw me of course and rushed to attack. I stopped by a rickety wooden tower and was vaguely aware something was treadmilling at the corner of the tower, trying to get to me. In the midst of fighting, that something fell to the ground, to its death. It's only after the fight that I realised it's a dog. 🤣 I supposed its master carried it up there since the only way up is the ladder.
Phobos has yet to trample anyone to death as he trotted through the lanes in villages and towns. He has the most marvellous adventures. 😄 Phobos made his appearance at the threatre, making a fine entrance out of the actors' quarters. He rode up to the temples, admiring the pillars, etc. He rode past markets, leaving his trademark hoodprints on grain containers and the like but didn't smash any pottery. He trotted on the roofs of buildings and tents though he was careful not to hit anyone on the way down.
The only place he hasn't poked around in are the latrines. 🤣

Hogwarts LegacyFun with the Merlin's Trials today mainly to start off with. And I found two *new* ones...maybe. One of them could have been familiar. So yeah first one involved using Reparo to fix some pillars which was...easy enough. Second one was to break some pillars. Started off by casting random spells on them until one would work...and then Confringo was the thing blasting them apart. I then tried Bombarda on a lark...and it didn't work. Hmm. So the next one to was those flippable boulder things and for the first time I was actually able to think about them and use logic to solve them...so I am learning. Oh and pushing a boulder up a mountain was super annoying. And tried to do the next round of the Imelda Reyes quest with the running around and trying to outrace her time and I failed. But what strikes me as interesting is the whole thing Imelda is just kind of fascinating because she is kind of a brat....but she seems to be genuinely growing to like Honor/ the PC because the PC is actually competent and actually is doing some good racing. The guy that does the Summoner's Court...which I finally got around to...can frell straight off. A Suprise Meeting Was quite apprepro.
A pair of girls goes into the forbidden forest and almost gets killed by a bunch of Centaurs because they are uninvited. And that was pretty much the quest.
But this was another cool little quest which was emphasis on the little part and I am still really digging the companion quests in this game because there are a lot of them. And...well... this is another fast one. Was expecting a bit of an involved quest, but it cut off before we could get to the next objective. Well done.

Yeah I don' t tend to do the racing ones as they can b quie thard for me but thankfully they're optional. I didn' t buy my broom to race I bought it to ge tme from point A t opoin tB a little quicker much like what we use the Nomadfor in MEA. I am leve l30 now and I am makin gprogress jus tneed to push towards the finish line now I think. I plan t ocontinue m yplaythrough a little late rthoug hI plan on playing m ygolf game first as I want to test the 3 click swing system once the update is comkplete as I'm downloading it now. But yea hm yplan is to finish Hogwarts then get bac kto m y MELE run then Midnight Suns as based on previous records I suspect we'll see Storm's DLC next week. Especially as each of the firs t3 DLC's has launched on the last week of a month Deadpool launched end of January we got Venom in February,Morbius in March which means Storm in April. Must admit I'm looking forward t oplaying the DLC's I did enjoy Deadpool's as I played his on my last run of the game in earl yFeb but I haven' tplayed Venom's or Morbius's yet. But I will admit I do feel ready for another playthrough even if it's t osee Cheery Tony and Dr Spooky again.

Sith Warrior should have had encounters considering their storyline, instead they got the "Numbers of the Emperor". Thinking about it, why isn't the Wrath one of the Children, you think the Emperor would like his Wrath groomed and conditioned like them. And here I'm talking more about Scourge than the SW. Harron Tavus in the Trooper storyline should have been one. Instead it's " the Republic abandoned us to die during a mission! Lets defect to the Empire and get treated even worst and commit atrocities". Two of Havok squad were total psychos so maybe it made sense to them, but the rest, no so much. The Smuggler storyline deals with Imps spies doing subversion work in the Republic and zero Children around. BH and SI are basically a parallel storyline that barely interact with either side outside of planet side questing, so it makes sense they don't interact with any. Saying that, the SI could have had a visit or something considering what they were doing.

At this rate all future Bioware games will be half done and modders need to rescue it for free.

Burning Shores dlc from Horizon Forbidden West. For those who played DAI. Remember Dorian's looks? Recall when seeing his father? The main villian in Burning Shores could pass as an older looking Dorian or even his father

I know right? I mean, you'd think you'd encounter at least one Child of the Emperor in each of the class stories to link them together but aside from Kira's plot point in the Knight's story it's never addressed in any of the others (at least until we meet Arcann and Vaylin)
Like for example...Hunter in the Agent's story would make perfect sense to be a Child of the Emperor, at least imo.
BH and SI are basically a parallel storyline that barely interact with either side outside of planet side questing, so it makes sense they don't interact with any. Saying that, the SI could have had a visit or something considering what they were doing. For the Smuggler...I'm thinking maybe Senator Dodonna would've made a good Child of the Emperor, there's already several senators and diplomats who are Children of the Emperor, so what's one more?

Well the good news is th e3 click system works the bad nwes is I thimnk I need more practice. As I played some reall ycareless shots in my littl eplay session earlier. Something to think about when I get int om ycareer mode later which I ma ystar tomn onc eI'm finished with my Hogwarts run as I'm thinkin gof mixing in som esports career mode gameplayin with my comfort games given I'm tempted to play some snooker and Fifa as well.

Part 81, arriving on Belsavis (I don't really like that planet, I mean it's pretty but there's so much to fight )

Part 81, arriving on Belsavis (I don't really like that planet, I mean it's pretty but there's so much to fight ) Consular is not the worse class on that planet when it comes to fighting things (at least in their origin story). I find the navigation the worst aspect of Belsavis personally. But it's so pretty...also, it makes me wish for an actual forest planet.
