CK3 This game is as nutty as ever. 🤣 Giselle formed the Kingdom of Romagna. Her husband died recently and now she's in her 60s. 62 in fact. Her eldest son is the heir and he has the lustful trait. I was expecting him to sire kids on other women but thus far, he's faithful to his wife. They have three daughters. Out of the blue, he visited Giselle in her bed chamber one night and made a remark. There's the option to have him as her lover. What?! They're mother and son! This is cuckoo. 🤣 There is a reason Crusader Kings posts were banned from appearing in global channels on Reddit for example. People got confused when seeing something like "When is the best time to sleep with my 14 year old daughter that I have kept in isolation all of her life?"

Well here we continue, while enjoying the map and PS4 features (this was when the Feather Species Pack came to) I decided to keep adjusting the US DFW Pennsylvania preserve and adding things like the Remote Viewing Galleries and such:

Ni No Kuni 2
My kingdom is upgraded to level 3 now. Been doing nothing but sidequests to get more people for it. Stuff is getting very expensive to build now. So last night I let the game run while I was watching some YT videos since money is generated in real time. Probably not necessary but seeing how the kingdom management is the biggest time sink in the game I decided to get some extra coins passively and build more stuff with minimal actual playtime.
I've played about 45h now and can see how one can spend up to 80h fully upgrading everything and doing all optional bosses, plus the Dreamer's Maze, which is a no savepoint survival dungeon, kinda nerve wrecking because you're on a timer and every few minutes the enemy level goes up. And naturally you get lost trying to find the door for the next maze level. You can research stuff to make the maze easier. Haven't done too much of that yet. I'm mostly focusing on weapons and armor and the spirit helpers, so everything that helps with regular combat.
What I love about this game is that you can fast travel anywhere instantly. Doesn't matter where you are, you can always get out and go someplace else. This is so nice. I hate nothing more than tedious backtracking through the same areas over and over. Too many games do this to inflate playtime.
Also I now have an aircraft which makes getting around even easier. It can drop you off anywhere on the world map. So I've been flying around landing next to treasure chests I missed or get to the ones I couldn't before. Finding nice stuff.
Everything about the game is so easy and quick to use. It's what makes this game so relaxing. Zero frustrations. Absolutely none. As unremarkable as the story and the combat might be, at least it's all easy to use and polished and well put together. So I've been having more and more fun with it.

Kassandra had a busy dau yesterday, 5 hours of Exploring (I love Makedonia) setting up some Fast Travel Points, killing cultists and getting sucked in how I promised myself I wouldn't taking down forts and camps I passed by. I am either getting lucky or my stealth has improved, Rush Assassination is a big help but wishing I'd taken video of a couple of the places I took down undetected. One place was not overly big but had probably 40 warriors including a Leader and his gang of goons. Killed all the other guards before them and then did them in one go with Rush Assassination. Then set up camp as Mercenaries came a calling and killed three before I had had enough and moved on. Kassandra then remembered she had to meet Herodotos at Thermopylae at the Lion of Leonidas. They did some drugs and had a massive flashback to Leonidas fighting against the Persians then decided to head to a strange Temple that coincidentally would help Kass's progression of her spear. GW2Vigil Keep was defended from the Risens successfully. My character is now confirmed to be 99% of the Vigil fighting power. Next: Retake Claw Island. SWTORMy new Sith Inquisitor is now a Colicoid, aka I went through the Balmorra storyline picking mostly LS choices because why not (I was mostly DS before that). She then went to Nar Shaddaa and she will acquire a cult. Because every Sith wants their own cult of course!

Been playing Midnight Suns today and recruited Spidey for the team after saving him from Venom. Looks like the Deadpool, Venom and Morbius DLC's are registering just fine on the gam eatm but haven't played their missions yet. Hopefully Storm's will as well on Thursday when hers is released I probably will play at least th efirst of Deadpool's tomorrow I suspect given he wa sthe first of the DLC's to b ereleased . Don't know for sure just yet but my plan is to play all 4 in the order they were released, at least in this playthrough.

ACVSo where the heck do I even begin on this? Ugh. Where even was I for my last post? So yeah basically decided to do all of East Anglia right now and all of its main arc in particular. Must say that this game's story, while being all over the place at times, it does feel like the first few arcs are the strongest narratively and in terms of cool scale. Sometimes it does make me wonder on historical accuracy because Oswald returning from the dead...was something. Big thing on a role playing arc to continues to happen. Basically Eivor started to kill more messengers and minor people but decided to let him keep Rued alive on Oswald's request. And well as people know who play the game...that backfired. Kind of interesting though because my playthrough with the other Eivor isn't well remembered on the what I did and the why I did it. So just thinking may be doing a lot of the same things I have been doing both times I have played it through. Still even then the reasons for doing something can be different. So like my male Eivor has been toying with the idea of being somewhat merciful and well it backfired so I think he'll take it as a sign to be utterly ruthless in future and also dueled Rued because it pricked his pride whereas Eivor in the past stayed true to her principles no matter what and also maybe dueled Rued out of ensurign Oswald stayed alive...or did she let Oswald do it? Hmm. The bad thing of course is the auto dialogue in this game does tend to dictate things like tone, pacing, and theme. Like with Ivarr probbaly going to send him to Helheim like the past, but tell Ubba about it since cannonically Eivor does not like Ivarr. And then with the Odin interludes Odin and Eivor just have this huge conversation, and granted hindsight, but still knowing he is the baddy now it does put a lot of the conversations in greater context. From there went through and cleaned up East Anglia, the wealth, monastaries, did the Beserker and the one with Beowulf...amazing quest. And also in the Beowulf quest found it interesting that the quest took me to a cave with my first cursed artifact AND a history of england tablet or whatever. Which automatically gave me a skill point. Which I have been wondering and trying to remember which things gave you skill points and well since that is one there is now some slight temptation to go after Excalibur afterall. Started trying to do the Zealots. And just still can't handle the ones with the shields like...at all. But did get Cola because they didn't have a shield. Left off with starting off on Lunden and oh yeah actually got to killing the Arrow. But once more my lack of 3D thinking bit me. Took me ages to find the clues for Tyrga's death...and I only figured it out by accidental frustration when I climbed up to the rafters. Jedi Fallen OrderHoo boy. This game is a game. Is taking me awhile to get into the flow of it and the controls...like I don't get the whole L2 to climb but then you don't always need to do it...*shrug*. And sticking to story mode for the moment because of its ridicilious bon fire save mechanics plus all the enemies respond which is an indication of the Vietnam effect. Trying to get the map under hand to. But yeah. Playing through Zeffo which I thought was almost amusing, unless I missed something, Greez was like 'choose Zeffo or Dathomir'...but there was no objective on Dathomir and seemingly no way to change it so Zeffo it was.

Jedi Fallen Order
I did forget to mention just how much my wife and I just am loving Cal and BD-1s relationship and maybe the best Star Wars droid. And well you can also press a button to check in on him and see how he is doing and interact with him. Though I keep on accidentally healing myself which is not good given this gameplay loop is not a good thing at all. And you can also ask him for tips to solving the puzzles...
Which is pretty much what ended up happening for my entire play session. Which some of it was neat the wind tunnel mechancis and floating around and shooting around based on these wind gusts and then floating up. Kind of excellent level design and it does lead to the second big reveal from Master Cordova and well now we're off to Kashyyk to see the Wookies. Always so nice to go to that planet which is a big part of the Star Wars extended media. Have to wonder how this will effect things and if I can make the choice between Kashyyk or Darthomir.
Except well got stuck on a puzzle. Only advice that I got from Cal/ BD...there must be another sphere...somwhere in there. No real indication where it was though. But sigh.

Queen Catherine of England received the blessing to wage war on the heathens! *cough* The Vikings that is.
Her daughter, also named Catherine, came of age and of course, there's no intention to marry her off early. Unfortunately, she was swayed by the court poet who's in his late 50s and became pregnant.
Angered by this, Queen Catherine imprisoned the court poet where he died a few months later. Catherine the daughter, gave birth to a son. He was immediately disinherited but was given an education nevertheless. When he was 12, the Queen asked him if he would accept being taken in by the Church. Knowing he has no prospects, he agreed.
When he was 20, he became a bishop at the Albian (Scotland) court. In the meantime, Queen Catherine slowly moved north, taking in the singular Jarl holdings. Princess Catherine married and has four daughters (I married her off at 29. Should have waited because she popped the daughters every two three years and I thought she wasn't going to stop 🤣). Queen Catherine died at the age of 79 and her daughter ascended and became Queen Catherine II.
For some reason, the illegitimate brother returned to the English court. He has no role and only retained his rank as Prince. He can't inherit unless his sister choose to absolve his illegitimate status.

Regarding the missing sphere: Remember when you first came into that big central chamber, you were using a wind gust to make one swing that was hanging from the ceiling? Well, now that you have force push, you could push it into any direction you want. Could even push it hard against a wall...

My time at Sandrock First Builder pic. Kelly the builder on the left, Nia the buddy on the right. Kelly is shooting forwards in the story line. Finished building the bridge so that’s the longest main story wise I’ve gotten so far. Also did the Water Tower bit and ended with a very fun trip through a ship. Love love love creeping ‘round in hazmat suits looking for salvage and stuff. Current status friendship wise: Qi has been officially promoted to best friend (and absolutely adoring his backhanded ways of trying to be nice), Unsuur has gotten the rank in a side quest but not quite there in the book. Yet. Damn he’s precious. Did try out the romance stuff but then backtracked but…he’s a top candidate. Otherwise her friend net is Arvio, Mr. X, Mi-an and Nia. Also Burgess, since he’s adorable and his little line about being happy to see me because he didn’t have many friends. He’s also been stopping by the workshop and having a little peak at the machines which is adorable. Also he doesn't know about my tree chopping ways, so here's hoping he'll never find out. My builder had her birthday and was way to amused that the only gifts she got was 10 worms from Mr. X the crow. Figure it’s a glitch (or well hope so because wtf guys) but was very amused at least. Currently headcanoning that her relaxation time is lying face down on her living room floor, silently screaming. Since I picked the “Lie down” option in the mental quest and granted it’s probably taking a nap but the image is just too amusing for me. Been working on my absolute mess of a workshop. Got some big storage boxes to try and sort my inventory and been trying to make stuff look nice. Ish. It’s an attempt at least. Want a second floor and a porch but alas, money just keeps vanishing. Very mysterious. Got my first game over by accidentally walking off the crane lift and plummeting to my death. Didn’t even know that was an option but got a chuckle out of it. Thankfully had a save shortly before so no progress was lost at least. So been having fun. Too much fun in fact. So it's scary in a good way because where the heck did all the time go?

Got Odyssey to launch and run again but only with enough time to muck around for 10 - 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the most of that was in the modern-day stuff and this is why Layla is such a crap modern day protagonist.

ACV
Continuing to hunt through the Order triumvirate in Lunden and going through trying to get more gear and more books of knowledge to.
Now it is one of those things where I could continue to streamline my experience and get through this game faster by looking up specific pieces of gear and what not. Its the one little bit of grind I am allowing to myself because games usually have some grind and well do need some kind of levels in the first place. And not even sure I would know what questions to ask to look it up unless I was just going to do a straight up just reading through the entire list of available gear. So imagine my surprise when I found a Blacksmith's hammer too which does seem more then a little descent and certainly feels weighty. So yeah there is that going on which is cool. Also on the gear front trying to decide what two handed weapon to use for my stuff, either the Carlogin long sword or the two handed fire axe thingy.
On that note to weirdly enough seems they changed how Bow stun fineshers work which...doesen't seem to work as well because the description says lock onto head and you can trigger it...but I have yet to be able to do so.
By and large for the most part I feel like I have either been ignoring/ avoiding the puzzles that gave me trouble or just having an easier time of it. Starting to change a bit as both the puzzles I did tonight really didn't agree to me. First to find the blacksmith's hammer I didn't really notice the difference in the wooden floor so took me a while to figure out how to use it. And for the Book of Knowledge Man's Best Friend had to craw up sort of through a side entrance...which I had to look up. Ugh. On that note too the fort its in accidentally basically wondered into Oxenfordshire and they had a lot of Norse prisoners in the fort so freed them and used them to stage a little prison revolt.
On the story front not much to say per se but I did get through the Leech and haven't been focusing much on the interludes when you kill people in this game but the Good Sister there caught my ear. First off Odin again, in hindsight, is acting realllyyy sus. His voice sounds way too admiring of her little body count. Also related to the whole him being an Ancient One thing. But just kind of one of those interesting ideas, trying to use a lot of suffering to advance the species. Of course it never really works out that way. And related to the Ancient Ones again how they made us but also did it imperfectly...which puts us in mind of what we know from AC lore about what the Isu did.

Especiall yas Strange orDr Spooky as Iron Man/Tony Stark likes to call him is in the game as well. I'm just hoping all the othe r3 DLC's are as fun to play as Deadpool's Addendum downloading Storm now as her update's just gone live . Jus thope the Abbey ha sbattened down the hatches. May jus td othis playthroug hthen return to ME3 aftrewards as I really want to see these DLC's Just saw the latest news on Steam. I will finish Morbius' dlc tonight and start Storm's. As for the the other dlc's I can only speak for Venom and Morbius and they were fun and continue the story started in Deadpool's dlc.

Hopefully will get and download Storm today. Managed t ocomplet ethe firs t2 parts of Deadpool's DLC yestreday. Ma ytry t od oth e3rd and fina lpart o ftha tone a littl elater as well as move the main game stor yalong a bit. As for the the other dlc's I can only speak for Venom and Morbius and they were fun and continue the story started in Deadpool's dlc. Yeah I started a nwe playthrough a coupl eo fdays ago. I'm stillin th first act though with my lates tHunter so still fightingVenom. Once I've knocked som esense into tha tslimeball though with the church bell I'll be glad to have him on my team. I've done the first 2 missions of Deadpools DLC on this run but I'm holding off on doing the last one atm as I wanted to level up a bit given I remember the last one being quite challenging on my first run through it. Especially with that statue having the ability to heal itself. I did get through it I just remember it being challenging. Yeah I think all the DLC's will be fun I was just saying I can only speak for Deadpool's as that's the onl yone I'v eplayed right now the other 3 I haven't yet I'v eonly seen bits and pieces but that's mostly because I didn't want to be spoiled. I do know that if you beat all 4 there is a bonus mission though which may be why Storm's DLC is slightly bigger given the others were around 10gb Storm's I noticed is 15gb. Given the DLC's are a story about vampires my guess is the bonus mission is a fight with Dracula as I have heard mention o fhim in the DLC's in the snippets I've seen. I'm looking forward to playing al 4 and then taking them all off t o fight Lillith. Along with my main game companions that is. Mus tadmit I'm lookin gforward to having Storm and Magik team up. I can see Storm an dScarle tWitc hcomplementign each othe rtoo in th emission where I recruit Hulk. When I get there that is of course. For now my focus is levelling up continuing Act 1 and finishing Deadpool's quests when I get back in after it's finished downloading. I am looking forward to seeing what that big slimeball Venom has in store for me though in the next DLC.

Got Odyssey to launch and run again but only with enough time to muck around for 10 - 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the most of that was in the modern-day stuff and this is why Layla is such a crap modern day protagonist. I would 100% take an eagle over a monkey, what is this rubbish

Infants are bad enough to have around the house imaging having a god damn monkey (much as I like Moneky's) but an Eagle, there goes your vermin problems if you have them. probably the neighbours pets as well but oh well.

So not an exactly exciting day for Kassandra yesterday, after fighting Steropes which took longer than it should have as his health once whittled down to 50% reset. Was weird he just started walking back to his cave and his health reset while I was whacking him and setting him on fire!!!!! Oh reverted back to invincible warrior build, more fun so maybe Steropes got sick of not being able to do any damage to Kass. Again readjusted my ability points and abilities, can still insta kill with Rush Assassination most things but my resistances are minimal 50% with most at 100% or just below. Rest of the time I dedicated to sailing the seas setting up FT points to make life easier later on, Athens can wait. Did kill some named ships and some cultists along the way. Pic's Pretty sure some Malaka is waiting for me around here: Killed this Malaka Scenery
