Well, both me and Poppy decide to interrupt a Poachers activity and the results are well, look we didn't unleash the thing they were keeping locked up, it was an accident or something so don't blame us when fire comes to your home:

Guess what I started playing yesterday? AC Odyssey!
Figuring out a new kb set up is always fun. Didn't realize the square U shaped icon was the Spacebar until finding it by accident!
The sound is terrible (very low even at max level while everything else I play I have to turn the sound down). I've changed a few settings since this seems to be a common issue, so hopefully one of them works.
It's strange to start a game with abilities other than basic attack already available.
Already died a few times. On easy mode. Hey, in my defense the first time was underwater when I got attacked by a shark I shouldn't have been messing with just yet.
So far just exploring Kephallonia. Markos is a twit but I guess he means well? His vineyard reminds me of Corvo Bianco, though it may be a bit less well-run. Of course he borrowed money from the local mob to pay for it and now it's Kassandra's problem to fix. At this point I'm wondering if Cyclops is really a cyclops or just a one-eyed wannabe. I haven't made it to his hideout yet to know for sure.
Tried sneaking up on the lumber bandits but stupid wolves broke my cover. Then while I was taking them on, the level 5 merc guy showed up. Needless to say, that didn't end well. Reloaded and did the merc fight first, which was still tough, then went back for the bandits.
I like how the game tells you how much and what kind of loot there is to find at each location. Doesn't help me find it any better, but at least I know what I'm looking for.
Here is level 5 Kass, decked out in whatever is the purple gear set in my inventory. I think it came with the deluxe or whatever edition I bought. On top of the Zeus statue, after synchronizing for the first time. Not sure how she's able to climb like that but whatever. dazk I can't believe you don't get dizzy doing this stuff!

Finished Act 1 and started Act 2 with par t1 of Venom's DLC. Was toug hfighting him an dvampires at the sme tim e as he'd been furthe rcorrupted by themNo tsuer if it's lucky or unluck yyet that Mephisto came along when he doid though knowing his history with Magik. Though I haven' tdone that mission ye tin this playthrough as that takes place later in this act. Still we have the big slimeball as an ally now must admit I'm tempted to bring him along when I recruit Wolverine. Might be interesting to tie Sabretooth down in a slimy trap.

Sims 4...so made a new family, again I made two parents and their teenage daughter, gave the husband some conflicting traits (such as being non-commital) and made him divorce his wife the moment they moved in, taking along what little money they had left. Anyway, now the guy keeps showing up on my lot even after the daughter send him away several times
I plan on having the mother remarry at some point (at least before she ages up to an elder), just haven't figured out yet to whom...well, maybe one of the neighbors, one of them was hitting on her the moment they met, so...yay?

That merc caused me to stop playing Odyssey multiple times due to the difficulty spike. Then down the road I was one shotting them for I think billions of points of damage, or maybe it was trillions the numbers got too big to read. I think I restarted Odyssey four or five times because of it due to how much it annoyed me. As far at the U for spacebar in my technical manuals it is indicated by a half-height squared bottom 'U', that way it isn't mixed up with the letter U or underscore.

Or for the symbol-impaired like myself, they could just call it 'spacebar'. I looked all over my keyboard for that symbol and it isn't there. My spacebar has just a straight line on it, no verticals.

I somehow managed to get to Hoth on my newest Sith Inquisitor. Only a few more days of double XP left too.
GW2
I started the Orr storyline on my fluffy Charr Warrior. Not much to say, the story doesn't change and I played througth it so many times.

It's a bit of a steep learning curve at the start and the game really forces you into Melee, Heroic Strike which is an assassin ability is a good ability to have first up as it does a good deal of damage and knocks people down even from the beginning IIRC. So is Ring of Chaos which is a Warrior Ability. Rush Assassination is one of my favourites but not as useful early on but it lets you leap huge differences to assassinate someone and chain attacks as it evolves. The Merc. is best left to one of the last things to do on Kephallonia and also the island just across from it where Odysseus palace is. Clear everything possible on Kephallonia before you leave, to get as much XP as possible. Go out of you way to practice hunting animals to get the XP and hides and collect all the metal and trees you can. Did you get the timesavers I mentioned previously free with the game? The ones that highlight Legendary Chests, Orichalcum, Ancient Tombs are useful. Otherwise you can get them from the shop probably for really cheap now. You know to hold "V" down and it highlights the lootable stuff but not for a long time (and only a short distance) and just by different coloured triangles? Ikaros should spot the treasure chests etc. for you. The heights things I have pretty much gotten used to in ACOD having played it so much, it doesn't make me dizzy it is far worse. HZD was worse because Aloy's stupid jump animation always made it seem like she was going to miss. Did you climb to close to the private part of Zeus and get Kassandra's comment? It's good in general when visiting a place how she will mention stuff, little bits about the place and history and also just some really funny stuff as well. With the armour funnily enough the colour won't matter too much for you at the early levels as it is matched to the level you're at. It just has an extra stat. I believe. Try and plan/decide what you are going for in terms of Hunter, Assassin, Warrior and the skills/bonuses you want within those as you will find/loot lots of gear and the other colours may have better stats or features you want that are more useful or better than something just because it has a higher level colour. Resist the urge to Level up your gear at Blacksmiths until you are like at least L10, 20, 30 etc due to the way the stats evolve unless of course you are really struggling. Here's a simple article that will help: gamevoyagers.com/when-how-upgrade-gear-odyssey/EDIT: melbella this comment I found is what I found useful early on in the game: "If the item is good, it is fine to upgrade it, but ONLY upgrade items at levels 11 21 31 41 51 61 71 81 91 99 (because it's the last level). When you upgrade an item, the main stat upgrades each level, but the perks only upgrade every 10 levels." Have fun.

I played Horizon: Forbidden West and was sad to see it lost the part of it I loved. It had echoes of what I loved about the narrative, in the form of the black boxes---which were an optional collectible quest. It's strong battle mechanics made up for a lot, but I'm unlikely to buy the sequel they're planning considering they didn't even bother handing me a good ending to the FW, just gave me sequel bait and hoped I wouldn't notice. And I spoiled myself about the DLC and I dunno man. I'm pretty much het, not enough bisexual to fly my own flag about it. But I find it skeevy that the only person Aloy gets to kiss is another woman she just met. It implies that lesbianism is genetic? Why even give us opportunities to accept/reject the men folk if she's going to be canon into women? It's not like the studio promised a bioware experience by a long shot but I'm bothered about it anyway. They invited me to be in her shoes and pick things for her to get me invested but my choices don't matter. Meh Otherwise, it's been all visual novels for me. Tried David Gaider's interactive musical, "Stray Gods". Any of you seen/played it? Rapid fire judgement of VN I've tried via emoji - Touchstarved Demo

Resist the urge to Level up your gear at Blacksmiths until you are like at least L10 Too late. But now my armor has gold trim on it.
Clear everything possible on Kephallonia before you leave, to get as much XP as possible. I think I did. I apparently did stuff out of order - surprise! Cleared Odysseus' palace before being sent there so that was an easy errand. Also cleared the pirate bay before going there for Cyclops, so had to clear it again. Not impressed with how Kass disposed of the eye. I'm sure it was supposed to be funny but I found it in poor taste.
So, finished Act 1 and now off to Megaris to kill Da....the Wolf of Sparta.
The sound is still way quieter than anything else so I just cranked up the volume dial on the speaker, which seemed to help a bit. I just need to remember to turn it back down again when I'm done.

Damn I found that scene with the Cyclops hysterical, I am guessing you won't be impressed to know there is an achievement to go find the goat that has the eye!!!!! FYI the ship battles are a challenge early on. Stop at Phokis to the North as you sail to Megaris first if you haven't already headed to Megaris. Good ways to earn XP and resources there plus you'll need to go back at some stage so you can set up the FT point. If you didn't know every dock and the Adrestia are FT points as well.

They invited me to be in her shoes and pick things for her to get me invested but my choices don't matter. Meh It's BS for me, honestly. Lesbianism is not genetic if that's what they're trying to say.
I'm looking at this from another angle based mainly on Aloy's development from the first to the second story which the writer has done well.
First story From isolated, rejected, vilified for 18 years to acceptance and venerated. Acknowledging who she is and regarding Elisabet Sobeck as her mother and someone she can emulate in the difficult tasks set before her.
Second story From distrust of people, thinking she had to shoulder everything alone (as she had done for 18 years, doing stuff alone. I understand why she talks to herself in the game) to understanding she can invest her trust and rely on those people who became her friends. That they can understand her goals, that they will stand with her and support her.
DLC Lest we forget, it's six months after the first story, not many years after. She debuted six months ago at the Nora homeland to being socially accepted and learning how to interact with people. Aloy is still developing socially and emotionally. The DLC relationship is likely part of that process. Most people experienced crushes when they're growing up and eventually move on as they develop further.
If this is the writer's intention, then it's a 👍 from me. If it is not, then 👎👎👎

Elite Dangerous. I've been dipping my toes into the water of what is exobiology. I'll get around and take some pics one day, but I've been too busy pulling my hair out most of the time trying to find the shitty biological shits half the time so I'd probably rage smash the screenshot button. Anyway, its sloooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. But also pretty lucrative apparently if you don't crash and die and lose all your data. Which apparently I'm having a real good crack out because I'm too busy looking around for signs of what I need to find and not paying attention to the rapidly approaching planet surface. Luckily, I've brought along some repair bots to fix up my ship I keep hulk smashing into the ground. Still gotta figure out how to use them, surely I'm due to find a high G planet to land on and really mess things up. Anyway, I've not been sleeping well the past few days. Thanks sinus, I really love this for me. And if I'm not dreaming about forgetting to do things at work, I'm looking for stuff to find and scan in my dreams. So, first day back at work after the weekend, and I'm driving on my merry way to the office. My half asleep brain sees the bitumen. The bitumen has repair marks - the little squiggly lines to fill in cracks. What does my cracked out brain see? Stupid f'ing bacterium samples and the next logical thought in my dumb brain is, oh, I should really get out and scan that. I wonder if the next sample is far away enough to have enough genetic diversity. Wtf brain!

Mus tadmit Venom is tough. I' d probably say Hulk tough considering th eamount of damage I've been doing with him. He doesn't have Hulk's healing capacity though from wha tI'v eseen but still I can see why Spidey gets so much trouble from the symbiote. I can omnl yimagine the kind o fdamage I'd be able t odo with bot hVenom and Hulk on a team. Guess I'll have to try it when I unlock Hulk later on. Mephisto's being a pain in the ass though I'll admit but that's normal for him. I still have th efina lpar tof Venom's DLC to do will probabl ydo that at some point today as well as doing another 1 or 2 main story quests. I may start Morbius's today but we'll see if there's time.

If this is the writer's intention, then it's a 👍 from me. If it is not, then 👎👎👎 Oh, from that perspective, ya, I'd give it a thumbs up too. Someone said Erend has a serious problem, Varl is not in the running anymore, and Avad hasn't gotten to show anything other than his very pampered leadership side. Aloy may feel like this is the first time she's had to breathe, now that they've bought time with her efforts from base game 2. And then a very beautiful and very capable woman with a similar stubborn "I'll do it myself" personality shows up in front of her. Additionally, learning Elizabet was, at the very minimum, bisexual may have given her licence to explore her own bisexuality.
That all said, I'm fine with her being a canon lesbian if that's what she was. I just object that they threw men at her several times and let the player decide how they want to handle that aspect of her, only to wrest control of that subplot out of player hands. From a "Would I replay the series" perspective, that would make every one of those decisions a waste of player time to consider.

This was a roller coaster of quality. I went from, "This is awful, why did someone recommend this to me," to "omg how is it making me cry". Then it went right back into awful. And then the demo ended on a huge up swing of emotional investment. I was given a choice I honestly didn't know what the right one was- Craziness. I think it's because the writer chose some dark themes but writes about them like a cheerful child. Although the protagonist is themselves 20, they act like a cheerful child and then the serious things happen and she appears mature for a little bit. will buy on sale

Played CK3 with new dlc stuff.
Made a hideous scaly albino dwarf, a minor count where I live IRL. I got him to go petition the king. With the new DLC there's a new travel system. Being poor I send the ugly dwarf alone, and he got mauled by a bear and died. That all happened in 10 minutes.
So I recreate a ugly scaly albino dwarf named Rudolf the Second StillAlive. He lived up to 50 years old, he went on many hunting trip that all failed. Last one I finally manage to track a wolf, really high chance of killing it. Rudolf managed to kill the wolf but got mauled and ...died. His son is the new count. He's real ugly as well but really good at knowledge. He goes to many festivals and travel all over the map. During one travel, food is low. So I got him to forage for food, with his high knowledge it should be no problem. Alas he ate a poisonous berry and died. His son Dudolf is the new count, he's an imbecile ( don't know how that happened his mother was a genius) Dudolf goes to some sparring festival and tries his luck. Something goes wrong and he got a spear through the throat and died. So now the heir is the 6 month old sister. There's not much I can do with her, so she goes to meet her young peers and have some fun. At six years old, during a travel she gets murdered by some secret agent. The end of the StillAlive dynasty.

Since I missed out on the Diablo 4 beta in March, I was happy to have another chance at it over the past weekend. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately ), the Blizzard launcher doesn't tell us how many hours we played a game, so I don't have an exact number on how long I was in the "Server Slam" but I did go at it pretty hard. Played a sorceress and finished pretty much all the major content in the beta. Played all story and side quests, did a number of dungeons., 2 of the three strongholds and defeated the world boss. The last one was pretty hard I gotta say. Took me 3 tries to get it. On the second try, I didn't die at all, continuously dished out fairly heavy damage and still we didn't get the thing's HP down only to about 20% before the timer ran out. On the third try though, we managed with minutes to spare. It just seems to heavily depend on the team you are with since you are only a very small cog in the machine in this fight. Anyway, all in all, I was quite impressed by the game. It has the fluid gameplay of Diablo 3 combined with the nice dark and gritty less comic-y optics of Diablo 2. A perfect combination if you ask me. The atmosphere is great and really dark and the story get off to a very good start I think. Where Diablo 3 went into the grandiose very quickly, this story starts out a little more mysterious and a little bit more focused on the human side. I am sure eager to see how that continues. I was also impressed as to how smooth the whole experience was. I was expecting to be in server queues more than playing the game to be hones but I never once even saw one. I must have logged in and out of the game 10-20 times over the weekend and I always could just start played with no fuss. If the launch goes like that, than kudos Blizzard. (I still doubt it will though. ) There are a few criticisms of course. While I didn't encounter many bugs, one thing that consistently annoyed me (especially playing a more ranged combat focused class) is that in Dungeons, opening doors doesn't make the walls of the next room transparent. So you can't see the enemies in there and you just have to fire into the room blind. Small issues but it kept bugging me. I had one instance, where the game would stop reacting to my keyboard inputs, only the mouse still worked. Since I couldn't drink potions or use abilities anymore, I died pretty quickly and that reset the controls apparently, so no biggie. As a solo player, my biggest worry about the game ahead of time was of course the shared open world/GaaS/MMO aspects. Here too, I was positively surprised. Yes, you do see other players every now and then but it's not too many. It certainly isn't as bad as Immortal was in that regard. I'd still prefer to be able to play in a private mode but still, better than I expected. Some of the design decisions that come with the MMO mentality do bother me though. I don't mind an open world in principle but the map here is very filled up with repetitive MMO-like activities, which certainly pulls me out of the immersion wquite a bit. You can also tell that dungeons are very formulaic with the old "go in, find a key/mechanism to open that one door, kill the boss behind it, receive designated reward for your player account" scheme. Sure, the dungeons in D1-3 are also just tile sets and also formulaic but it didn't show as much, at least not already in teh first act. I mean, as far as I can tell, there aren't even any non-story dungeons with multiple levels or anything like that. Ah well... As a conclusion though, I have to say that overall, I was very pleased, even sometimes impressed, by the state of the game. Since I am sure now that I do want to play on release, I pre-prdered, yea, you got me Blizzard, well played ... I did pre-order the standard edition though, Activision-Blizz, you go shove your cosmetics and battle passes up your Azmodan.

Sims 4
So the neighbor moved in with the wife and teenager sim...ex-husband still shows up every now and then, but I mostly just ignore him teen daughter is doing well in school as well as her aspiration of becoming a painter...mom is doing quite well in her aspiration of being a botanist as well
oh and of course the ex-husband despises the new guy of his ex-wife... (should be fun for him to show up at a later date...and have them duke it out ) ex-husband actually keeps trying to get into contact with his ex-wife (sending friend requests on the sims version of Facebook) but again, I just ignore him
teen daughter made a few friends in school, so that's good as well

My time at Sandrock Kelly’s adventures continue. Was taking a little sneak peak at what happens next in the story (so I know what to be gathering in the downtime) and decided to take a peak at Qi’s romance in the meantime. Didn’t see any quest but learned that you hold hands during a date. Which is so freaking precious. Seeing her drag Qi around by the hand was just Learned that Fang likes Cantaloupes (don’t really give him gifts because of how he reacts at the start, but sometimes enjoy being a little pest) and that Mr.X doesn’t like jewelry. And he said he was a bad bird so it feels like Fang has scolded him for stealing jewelry in the past. Poor baby. I’ll bring him shiny rocks next time, since those are ok. Arvio can get the jewelry instead. Those Cantaloupes must be pretty tasty since Dan-Bi and Zeke love them. And I got like 50 of them just chilling in my pocket. So that's some future popularity. Balcony plans were a bust since I can’t put furniture on the roof. But might make a tiny little fenced area. But darn I was really sold on a chair on the balcony. Because it’s really nice to just sit down and admire Sandrock in the evening. But have added a second floor and a porch, so some of my dreams came true. Been really enjoying the cutscenes so far. Gotten a lot of chuckles and do like how stuff is sometimes happening in the background. It's neat. Musa’s visit was so painful cringe wise. Then it got hilarious. Then it got meta since he was saying a line about that Sandrock was definitely going to end and the game crashed. Granted it was probably because it was running in a semi cutscene mode for a while since I had to leave for a while, but still, found it amusing. Found it less amusing a bit later on after I'd closed and reopened the game and my saves kept crashing when they loaded. Thankfully restarting the computer fixed it. And now it's presumably back to waiting since I finished fixing the air in a nearby valley. Hoping it will open up some Mole caves soon so I can fully dip into upgrading the workshop some more. Also been figuring if I shouldn't just go for Qi, since he's a adorable and the first run of Portia that I finished also had a red head falling for a man in a lab coat with a two letter name. Got a theme and everything here.

Erend's problem is that he hits the beer and ale easily; let's celebrate! or why did so and so have to die. One for the road! It's not like they're in medieval times when the water was not safe to drink that people drank ale most of the time. Not saying they didn't drink water but if they had a choice, they drank ale.
Aloy is independent, she can do what she wants or rather what the writer wants.
Some of the tribal allowances are frankly, to me, illogical and unrealistic. The world setting is tribal with the reborn human race having lost all knowledge of modern technology and a lot of important things (medical, etc). Hence, they are suffering tribal losses from; diseases, birth mortality, children mortality, accidents, incidents (earthquake, etc), tribal wars, deaths from murders, etc. All of these take a toll on numbers over the years with a sharp spike from the Derangement and the plague. What would tribal leaders do? What would have been set down right at the very beginning when people had to leave the Cradles and their groups suffered losses from their inexperience with the outside world?
There's one SQ in which a Tenakh I think, is the oldest of the tribe. It's mentioned no one is as old as he and he is displaying signs of dementia. No one knows what it is, why he is behaving as he does. This is the clearest indication that most people die young. If they ever reach 60 years old and beyond, it's very rare.
There's another SQ in which a young Tenakh is looking after her grandmother. I doubt the grandmother is 60 years old. At a guess, I'd say she's 50 and she looks that old because they all live in a harsh unforgiving world. There are no conveniences, there is only hard work and more hard work every day in order to survive. A simple mistake can take away a life.

So more map opening yesterday but Kass did several quests she came across and has been doing ancient Tombs wherever she finds them to get the ability points. Did lots of underwater treasure hunts and water areas below Attika, Korinthis and Argolis and between Argolis and Akadia and down the Lakonian eastern coast stopping to open up all of Lakonia. Visited Melos and Kythera, next across to Messara and then the three islands above that, Nisyros, Anathi and Thera and I think everything has at least one FT point. Then will start the Athens Story or maybe go to Pephka and fight in the arena to get it out of the way. Pic's Athens Yeah, Nah I'll be back. I think they'll make more than one Kassandra Mighty and Beautiful Phobos

Played a sorceress and finished pretty much all the major content in the beta. Played all story and side quests, did a number of dungeons., 2 of the three strongholds and defeated the world boss.
I played this weekend too, though only the main story long enough to get my first character to level 20. The world appears to be huuuuge with lots of zones to explore within each major area. I got the rogue maxed at 20, then a barbarian and necromancer each to level 6. I didn't know what time it was ending, so I got up to take a bathroom break and when I came back was booted from the server. Thought maybe I just lost connection but when I got back to the main screen the only option was to 'uninstall' instead of 'play.'
I'm wavering on whether to buy on release. I agree it does seem pretty stable. Seeing other player avatars in the game was weird but kinda fun when 2 or 3 would converge on a world event and just whack away at everything. The bosses seemed pretty tough though, even when supposedly the same level as my character. Not sure if they were meant to be taken on by a group of players but it just seemed like my one little toon would do minimal damage while getting the snot beat out of her and chugging health potions, hoping the next hit would cause more to drop. Can't even count how many times I died. I actually had to lower the difficulty from Tier II to Tier I to beat one boss, and it was still hard, and then I just left it at Tier I.
What did you think of the skill trees? I found myself pursuing a single line in each group, rather than spreading points over several options when you can only have one basic and one core active at once anyway.

THere is a lot to do in this game. And Oxenfordschire is fairly trash when it comes to story and everything else.
So continuing on with 'Chipping Away'. And another two hours of just doing random crap because the game does not let you know where all the random crap is. So ended up wandering the country side hither and thither looking for objectives to do to limit Eadewyn's forces. At least it was multi part so I didn't have to spend the entire time just looking for one thing like with the orange long boat. Yellow long boat. Whatever.
From there continued on to meet up with Basim and Sigurd as they continued to look into the Saga Stone and what not. From a story standpoint this is kind of weird because, at the risk of repeating myself, it does come out of nowhere based on the story structure of this game. This game's quest structure is very serialized in the sense that each serial is just one giant episode rather then a cohesive whole. Sure, it does tell its own long term story, each arc is sometimes part of a larger arc, but they are often isolated from one another. So Sigurd and Eivor goes from being very good buddies to all of a sudden being at each other's throats with no real explanation or slight degrading of this over episodes. Just bam. Now in its defense there is two pieces to defend it. 1. Evior himself points it out when Fulke asks him about it. 'We would always know each other's mind...until today.' And 2. Given what Eivor says about Sigurd chasing his own glory and not being there for the Raven clan, at home, this sort of resentment could've been boiling for awhile. It is also worth noting that later when Sigurd mentions that it is prophecy that drives him Eivor almost like 'snaps out of it' for a second and started asking about what prophecies. Almost as if he did forget about his own visions about the growing divide between Eivor and Sigurd. This actually put a really fine point on the whole thing because you'd think Eivor would be a lot more hesitant about picking fights about Sigurd if he is afraid of a prophecy of betrayal...but even though its only been hours since I last talked to Valka in universe its probably been months since Eivor has even thought about them, hence he forgot, until he was reminded. Second problem here is from an RP perspective which is more interesting. Trying to do a bit of a dance because I essentially have three goals with this playthrough which I believe I have stated in some form. 1. Be different from my female Eivor in choices. 2. Still be consistent in RP and character for those reasons and 3. get the 'bad' ending just to see it. In that end though kind of interesting because I punched Basim because he was being a dick and I think Eivor could see that Basim was the prime influencer in his brothers fall. But I could not bring myself to punch Sigurd this time because I still feel that punching both in the exchange would be a bit...silly. No real justification for it. Even though I feel you need to to get the 'bad ending'. From what I have heard anyways.
From there did the Caste of whatever here which is one of the more frustrating bits of the game because you have to go in there first to sabotage the defenses via stealth and then lead a second assault and castle siege. Now you should have the option to not do it but this just creates the issue where you have to go in to clear the castle out twice. ANd given there was a lot of soldiers in there stealth was pretty difficult to do... at least for me. And well killing soldiers is not really an option to weakening the defenses either.
This did lead to one of the better and in context one of the more interesting scenes of the game. Fulke coming to Aelfred to let him know about Sigurd. Which was I have gushed about this sort of thing before, just the tension of the scene in the game obviously setting up Eivor to be taken, then Basim offers, then Sigurd ends up getting taken instead. Just beautifully done. But in context Fulke is a part of Order of the Ancients. Aelfred is a member of the Order of the Ancients. But Fulke is a heretic/ pagan in Christian clothes. She makes an appeal to Aelfred's Christianity that Sigurd is a blasphemer that believes he is a god in flesh but we know from this whole arc that she believes modern Christianity is silly and is looking into the Isu to help them dominate but Aelfred, as we learn later, is a true Christian, a true believer, who intends on wiping out the previous Order of the Ancients so he can transfer it into something else. Its not clear how much that Aelfred knows about Fulke at this point and her heresy and its unclear what he will ever know but knowing the end of the game it is really fascinating to see the two best antagonists of this game squaring off with one another who are nominally in the same organization, and thus has a vested interest of stopping the Basim/Sigurd/Eivor alliance...but also having antithetical ideologies to each other as well, yet still speaking in somewhat code in order to convey the meaning to one another of what they need to convey. Its really remarkably well done and almost saves the entire Oxenford Arc...almost.
