SWTORI have now finished Ziost on my Inquisitor and I think I liked it more than on my Consular. The Inquisitor's taunt to the big bad sounded way better. Also the " That's not how proper Sith Lord behave" was kinda hilarious when I spared some Jedi, but it was the pragmatic solution. Also, it makes Theron indebted to me. Nothing like a member of the Dark Council having a "friend" in SIS. Also, a member of the Dark Council going to investigate an Imperial world works much better than the Consular going there and being able to dock at a space station over the planet without being arrested by the Imps. The Outer WorldsIn got two new crewmembers. Ellie and Felix. I'm running a full girl party so the boys (Felix and Vicar) stays on the ship with ADA. I somewhat pity them. Just a bit. That also means I don't have to endure their tossball arguments. I did most of the quest on the Groundbreaker and then moved to Roseway to investigate some stuff for the person who's supposed to give me a Navkey to my next destination. This is complicated. Also, Roseway is Raptidon central. I hate those. hate, hate, hate, hate. Why do they have to spit acid????

So Kass travelled to Messara/Pephka as having already fought the The Writhing Dread and defeated The Bright One she decided she wanted a few cuts of Beef for her travels. Cleared some quests along the way clearing "?", Kass was a hard ass to some guy who wanted to sleep with some other guys wife and in trying to help them got them killed. Rescued some guy who tried to the Ares Cultists and then run away, killed the cultists and sent him on his way even though he wanted to join the crew. Got to Goynton (SP?), avoided a quest I hate but agreed to kill a politician for some guy who wanted to be the leader. So did that, took down a whole fort then killed the leader and hsi crew reported back. Noticed the guy had already installed himself as leader up in the fort and went and killed him. I swear he actually said as I was fighting him "You" and was about to continue talking but you know spear through the chest. This all led to a flock of Mercenaries or is it a "Murder" of mercenaries who must have got messages on their group chat turning up. Kass who this PT has been a bit Jeckyl and Hyde took great delight in killing them all and watching them burn. Malakas mercenaries. :FLAME: Met an old guy and agreed to get him some flowers to take with him when he dies to give to his already dead wife to fulfil a promise. Always surprised Kass doesn't get to "comfort" the old guys daughter in that quest. Then the hunt for Swordfish and the quests to help Ardos find his dad in the Labyrinth. Did all those and went shopping for the beef cuts Kass was after and of course found the ring and looted all the chests etc. even though I need none of it and then as usual missed the last jump and had to go through the Labyrinth again EVERY BLOODY TIME. Anyway Kass's saddle bags were about 100kg's heavier after dealing with "Raging Bull" and the crew feasted and praised Dionysus well into the night and the next day and the next night and swore to become vegetarian ever afterwards. Well until Kass ran into this herd of feral kittens AKA Lynx. Lynx Steaks for Supper. Multi Shot with Exploding arrows, 12 or 13 dead in one shot. Mopped up the other half dozen with the spear: Next on to Pephka for The Minotaur Tour and Competition etc. Pic's Sacrificed a cultist to Ares Did a conquest battle on HARD for Athens for the XP: Swordfish wasn't on the menu fortunately Let's catch us a cow: SPOILERS melbella

Gilded Shadows: Visual Novel
I played Ari's route. I had to poke at it a bit to reduce the dissonance from falling in love with someone who kidnapped MC. Make sure they met before, had a nice conversation. Make sure to run away, so Ari would be defensive of Caleb being rough. The guide I was reading recommended analytical character traits but I will have none of anything that will make me be mean to an NPC by name of Rory. Rory is a gentle cinnamon roll, albeit mind controlled. Not picking the emotional trait means he's locked under that control. I may not have seen Rory again on the Endgame Ari route, but I know where he ends up. He's safe. He's finding a new life and what more could I want for that sweet boy ahem.... I liked Ari's route. They didn't focus too hard on him being a virgin, the jealousy was well done since he has absolutely no relationship experience and called himself out on it. I give him spot #3 of my heart in Gilded Shadows. Oddly enough, I was actually kind of bummed I couldn't get back with the Ex? Gorgeous, affectionate, actually concerned about her safety with no selfish desires to cloud it. Well, I guess Rueben had that but ya... Rueben. Not my favorite digital dude. Ari's is probably the least problematic route of the Endgame routes, just because to be in this part of the story, you have to get kidnapped. Although I become less outraged the more I replay the kidnapping, Caleb is just such a fucking asshole at the start. Shoving, yanking. Even with a psi inhibitor making her a complete non issue (he doesn't know it doesn't work) he still yanks her around. SIGH. I must get through the roughest part of that route. There may be like, information on it that adds to the universe and story. I can NOT skip ahead to the two final routes when they are going to contain SO MUCH world lore. If I don't give Caleb a shot now, I will never do his romance.

ACV
So the whole thing with the Reda contracts is...interesting in its design. Kind of fun because they aren't really that involved but they don't pay out a lot so you have to keep on doing them if you want anything. Fun.
Decided to go after Fenrir after all and I feel a bit deja vu over here but did end up facing the wolf in epic battle. Quite the interesting boss fight since the wolf is powerful, though I am not sure how powerful...but I guess the best way of saying it is he is slow as frick so pretty easy to dodge. The tornado attack was the only thing to really be concerned about. Bit grindy though being, maybe, so under leveled, so it took awhile. But I did get him.
Finished off by going off to Halfdan to check in with him and got to tell him how Ivarr died. Again mentioned exactly how he died, didn't translate exactly into the spoken dialogue but it still worked and Halfdan was understanding since he broke his honor. Kind of a little weird that we had to keep going off to Picteringa and the east of Euvicire in order to get all the things done in the area. Though it is lucky that I can keep on retiring at Ravensthorpe.

Ended up abandong Grid Legends a sit was trying t oforce m einto racing lobbi4es every time I tri4ed to pla ya career event. I have started a career on the old 2010 game bu rts ofar only done the firs t2 rqaces I go t2 points from the firs trace in Bahrain afte rfinishin g9th but m yrace in Australia wa sa trick yone as it was raqining cats anddogs but I managed t otake 14th. Which wa sstill good enough t obea tm yteammate and complete m yteqams objectives so I won't complain too much. Especially a swe tewather and racing don't really go well together especially if you're playing for a mid pack/backmarker team. Because in F1 2010's career mode you do have to start off at a backmarker team.

Gilded Shadows: Visual NovelI've named freedom fighter MC, Morgan Culver. And Resigned MC Mia Cameron. See it? ha. They are similar people but very different people at the same time because of a big decision- one accepted fate and one did not.
Binged Caleb and Magnus' route. Some more comments about Ari's route now that I have more to compare it to. I did actively dislike what a wimp she was on Ari's route. She was so much more powerful with less training on other routes, Jack and Rueben routes come to mind. It seems like being locked up somewhere safe receiving formal training actually inhibits her powers. Her imagination combined with the stresses of being in harsher elements pushed her to find some of the coolest powers she can use on other routes. I just don't understand how to she can mimic super rare Celeste after a few observations but struggles so much with psi, shieles, or teleportation. On other routes, it's very much, "I wonder if I could... or I need to!" and then it happens. So it can be frustrating to see her struggle so much on the Ari/Caleb route.
The routes where she chooses Endgame are simply a worse deal for her-all 3 Endgame routes, her family has to go into hiding. Her mother, an renowned artist, now literally will not be allowed to do art. And MC doesn't get to do the research she worked so hard for on Ari's route at all- this is the worst narrative outcome, because she just becomes a good little soldier, reflecting I guess that Ari is also a good little soldier?
Random, if you pick silver hair, there will be extra comments about it. Then Magnus implies she accidentally killed kids when she was a child if she has silver hair. That's not the unique references to hair I would have hoped for, like, ouch. Pass on
MC's ability to express unhappiness with Endgame: It's unfortunate that I don't get to tell Magnus that Endgame sucks in as quite as much detail on Ari's route. We're both very much aware of it sucking on Magnus' route. But on Rueben's route Magnus admits that MC may not have been even forced to go to Endgame. Even if she goes, they do a lot of reliance on the ignorance of the new member to never consider finishing their safety training and just going back to their old life. Yet on Endgame paths, he's right there, feeding her that very lie to ensure she doesn't go anywhere. It's really brutal, telling her with dead eyes that her dreams don't matter anymore.
Caleb's route had lore on it and she had a better career outcome in that she learned how to interact with alien technology and that got her back into her research. I enjoyed seeing Caissa saying what he did about breaking her out of Endgame. It's what made me do Caissa's route 3rd, that kindness. It was just, once I was on that route, Caissa had his criminal father to contend with and that kindness doesn't come through until the route is half over. Overall, I'd rank Caleb slightly below Caissa. They both have some issues with the romance but believe in her freedom. It's just on Caissa's route she can actually be free.
Nothing about Caleb and Ari's routes made me want to date Magnus. Only his words on Rueben's route really intrigued me about him. He's one of the more prettiest love interests for certain, I'll give him that. They sell up Caissa as the prettiest but Magnus wins. But Magnus is cruel to her on Ari's route (those brutal lines) and on Caleb's he decides to do relic experiments on her without her consent. I'd suspected during the non Endgame paths that Magnus was happy that she didn't end up in Endgame. I observed on Ari/Caleb routes that Magnus was not so secretly upset angry MC chooses the Endgame path. On his route, it was confirmed. When she wakes up from her pseduo coma, Magnus confronts her and is like, "Why did you come here? there were other paths." Then implies that some sort of sexual desire for Ari/Caleb is what made MC's decision to capitulate to my kidnappers. WHAT a bit of revolting garbage to hear come out of that pretty mouth. "You made the wrong decision, is it because my lackeys got you all hot and bothered?" is a disgusting question, no matter if you word it nicely.
Yuu the Endgame doctor is quite charming on this route, I finally understand why he would get a route to himself.
There are just... so many wrong things happening on the Magnus Path. Very story heavy, so I like it for that reason. He seems very aware of the other paths she could have gone on. But after accepting that she'd chose this one, apparently he did try to use her for his own goals but then realized he'd fallen for her and couldn't use her as a tool anymore. But he doesn't really do this at all on the Ari/Caleb route, so that plot point doesn't seem as well explained. Did he not use her as a puppet as much on Ari's route because she'd fallen into being a good little soldier and so was not the renegade he would need? But when she does kick up some fuss on Caleb's route, she did get more space for her research dreams, but still not enough of a renegade I'm guessing? Or does it require renegade plus more extensive time around her to suddenly make him realize she was the puppet he was looking for? And if he hates Endgame so much, what is the incentive he has to be so cruel to her on Ari/Caleb routes? Magnus got brain wiped 5 years before, so he's not entirely whole of mind, but even after his own route, I don't understand his decisions. The romance itself... there was a point where I thought I was on the bad ending because Magnus seemed insane and I'm just supposed to trust him blindly without explanation to make sure people can't follow. He does explain, later, why but that I had no sense of trust of the man at that point says something about the writing to support this romance naturally. Then there is the sex scene reading out like MC capitulated to a desperate person throwing caution to the winds The seduction was zero, haha he's so random he just loves me and sees no reason they can't have sex on his friend's couch after a frantic trip across the planet? I dunno. I've noticed in visual novels that sometimes the romances suffers from being on a "BIG STORY" path. There isn't enough space for both the romance and story to coexist in a balanced fashion when you get to that level of "world is in peril."
I rank Magnus route higher than Rueben because of the lore. But the romance itself has as many problems that are worse than Rueben's romance.
There are 2 more romances available, but one isn't being finished writing yet. I plan on smooching a guy that represents a 7000 year old AI program next.

Completed my Stronghold Franchise playthrough today. The best is still Stronghold 1 in my opinion. Both Crusaders a close second and then Stronghold 2 -though the graphics of SH2 -omphff.
Now as to Stronghold 3... The three campaigns are ok however... The Military ending... While I understand it. I hope if and when they continue it they don't make "The Boy" the enemy. But that is the vibe I get from the ending.
By the time of the game the Wolf seems to have changed into a more psychological enemy. Doesn't care about the pawns at play around him -they can die or win -doesn't care just wants the boy. Wants him so bad just to kill him in private? No. He wants to torture him -obviously. But the Wolf is smart -very smart. More likely he will torture the boy to the point of death but actually plans to turn him to his side. Only to twist the knife by revealing the "I'm your father" meme to break the boys' mind. Yeah I know its claimed he killed the boys father but we are never actually shown this. And even if its not true -what better revenge than to use your once enemy now your ally to take out those who used to be your allies ally?
Please tell me that this is not where they are going.

DA II
Hawke was honest with the Arishok in all Qunari matters and even told him Isabela had the book. However, he had enough of the irresolute and corrupted city and unleashed his soldiers on the populace. The Viscount was killed. Hawke met Meredith and Orsino and chose the First Enchanter's plan to lure away the Qunari soldiers at the Keep entrance. Isabela returned with the Relic and it was given back to the Qunari. However, she rejected the Arishok's intention to bring Isabela back with him. The Arishol issued a challenge to Hawke which she accepted and won.
Thus the Champion of Kirkwall was born.
Fenris's sister came to visit. Unfortunately, she saw fit to sell him out and the party found his master and goons waiting for them. It was a pleasure to watch him kill the master. Decided not to let Fenris kill his sister. As Varric was in the party, he advised Fenris not to do it. Before leaving, his sister revealed that the lyrium markings was not done against his will. He wanted it, competed for it, as an exchange for his mother and sister's freedom. After the event, Fenris confessed he didn't know what to do with his new found freedom but promised to stay with Hawke.
I didn't bother very much in choosing options when talking to Sebastian because nothing in DAO and DA II will be transferred to the Dragon Age Keep. World states for DAI have to be manually input.
Talked to all the companions except, of course, Anders. Picked up all the SQs, etc available.

Marvel's Midnight Suns
Today while playing the Act 1 closing quest, I decided on my final Hunter deck. I restarted the encounter because the team wasn't doing very well. I probably just needed to change my strategy slightly, but the new deck choice also flowed much better. My paragon Light Hunter uses 2 Quick Slash, 1 Guarding Strike, 1 Holy Flame (which is going to be a Holy Burst), Summon Charlie, 1 Fortify, 1 Heal, and 1 Holy Gift card with the Balanced Collar (and eventually the Heightened Senses passive). I'm not interested in the deck having maximum optimization, and I enjoy what I put together.
My primary party member is Morbius (one of my favorite Marvel characters; don't mention the movie though, ugh), and eventually the Scarlet Witch. I'm surprised how much I've grown to like Nico, and I wish I could find more room for her. I will probably stop taking the Hunter on general missions.
So far, I am quite impressed with this game overall. I enjoy both the combat and the story-driven elements. I have to admit, I knew I was definitely going to be receptive to the company selecting some of my favorite heroes and heroines, and pulling from storylines that I collected and read in the past.

Finished Tyranny. Really enjoyed it and it's sad we probably won't see another set in that universe. I was overall satisfied with my ending, though I think I had a few bugs in some of the ending slides.
Next I'm going to keep going with Outer Worlds, I finished all the initial quests on the Groundbreaker and got the ability to land on Byzantium. So going to head there next and see what I can get up to.

Also started another RTS called Zero-K. store.steampowered.com/app/334920/ZeroK/It was free when I got it from Steam but its nothing special. But I am liking it for one reason. Its actually the first game -aside from the original Driver: You are the Wheelman where cheating actually makes it fun. I AM REFERRING TO OFFLINE -don't dare do that in multiplayer -unless its authorized -still... Send in 1000 air units against a single power unit -its epic. AND OVER KILL -LOL

Gilded Shadows: Lance A dollop of destiny makes my heart grow fonder. It is a safe warm cute romance with plenty of space for them to grow and know each other. I like the alternative background music, it was fresh. I loved the resolution of not just Endgame’s issues but for Caissa and his father, I was very glad to see them all reunite with Lance. At this point, we’ve seen MC train 7 times, and the author was aware of that and changed the approach of it. MC didn’t get to be as much of a powerful bad ass on this route, but it was okay. We have other routes for that, and it suited Lance’s pacifist nature that there would not be constant battle. MC is just as happy about her career trajectory on this route as she is on Quill's. Loved all the CGs of his entire route so much, some really good eye gazing. I like how he handled MC--treating her softly like a precious found person. There was swooning. Muah, sweet Lance.
Yuu the Endgame doctor route has not been released yet, but he seemed quite charming on Magnus’ route. It was there that I finally understood why he would get a route to himself although I do wonder what his story will really add. After the other Endgame three routes, I already know that Endgame is not entirely full of assholes.I wonder what kind of world lore smooching him will bring to the table

Marvel Midnight Suns
Got to play some tonight. There is still on Morbius story mission (I thought I competed it). It's a tough one. I can't seem to prevent one vampyre from attacking a civilian. Started Storm's dlc and now I found the best team. Storm, Magik, and Wolverine. Together they dominated the Storm's first story mission. I also did a few side missions. Overall I forgot how good this game it was. It's a shame it never got the recognition it deserved.

Marvel's Midnight SunsToday while playing the Act 1 closing quest, I decided on my final Hunter deck. Yeah it'sa good game it was my 2022 GOTY. I see you got the Legendar yEdition too seeing as you have Morbius. Yeah he's a good character as ewl especiall yonce you ge thim in his Bloodlust mode he can be very dangerous to anyone wh ogoes up against him. As fo rwhether you have an optimised deck or not it doesn't really matter too much as you're relying on wha tcards you draw most of the tim eanyway. Yo uonl yhave control over the cards in each of you rhero's decks not realy on whic hare drawn as they're randomly shuiffled and chosen. You'll pick Scarle tWitch up around halfway through Act 2. It's always a good idea t ohave a coupl eof quick cards anywa yfo rwhen you're fighting minoins as if you can take an enemy using a quick attack you can ge tyour card pla yback. Whic hcan come in hand yif you need t opla y a more defensive ability like a heal or a block boost or something as well. You cqan sometimes mitigate poo rcard draws by the items you take into th efield so you're never completel yhelpless you jus tneed t okno wwha tcards t opla yand when. Planning on going back in and playing a dark Hunter soon but I don't know when yet. Jus tthought I sghould mention as well tha tin order to get friendship up you d oneed to take the Hunter on most missions both side and main quests. You do need t oget each character up to friendship level 5 in order to unlock their Legendary card abilities o their ultimates as I call them. Basicall ythey aer abilities such as Hunter's Bladestorm which are like extra powerful and can come in really handy especially if a boss shows up. Some it'l b equick and easy to do and some will take more work it reall ydepends on how much you end up using each character throughout your run. I tend to try to us ethe Hunter whenever I can. I only tend to drop them if they'e rinjured or the mission doesn' t have them such as the quest whereyou pick Morbius up wher it tells you to use Blade and Spiderman instead.

Marvel Midnight SunsGot to play some tonight. Yeah it is a shame a sunlike a lot of games these days I hardl ever encountered an ygame breaking bugs I found it pretty bug free everytime I played plan on doing a doublre header playthrough soon but not 100% sure when yet. As I want to do a new game plus run with the Dark Hunter suit. Mostly because I think I like the dark hunter suit more than the light on eand I wantt ouse it on a playthrough but I need to unlock it first. It'll be a good chance t oplay a male Hunter as I've not played a male one yet. Each of the DLC stories aer made up of 3 parts wit ha fina lmission that wil lunlock afte ryou complete the last of Storm's where the 4 characters and Blade team up t otake on the enemy of the DLC one fina ltime. It's quite the fun final mission too.

I am having some trouble killing the vampyres before they attack civilians. Once I finish the game I will be doing a new game plus and will create a female hunter. Don't know if she'll be Light or Dark or in Between.

Don't know if she'll be Light or Dark or in Between. Yeah I played my last one as a bit of an in between one as I wanted t ouse a mix of bot hlight an ddark cards as I used the mindbender and mindreaker cards and I also used the dark whip card a fai rbit as it's quiet useful whe nupgraded as with the upgrade yo uca nuse it without any herois mcost. Also in my last playthrou ghI modded i tso it had quic kas well s oif I killed the enemy wit hit I got th card play back. So in tha tinstance I was able t od oa fai ramount of damage with it. She was mostl ya light characte rin how she responde t things she was just more of a characte rthat was not afraid to let her dark side out to play when required if i thelped her and her friends get an advantage. Currently I'm downloadin gF1 23 so focused on starting a career mode on tha tonce it's done. I' m not planning on playing the story though yet until after I reinstall F1 2021 as I wanted to play part 1 again before playing part 2. Somewher in between my time with Fifa F1 and Grid I'll probably take a break t opla yother games i have installed so I may well play my Midnight Suns double header idea then. As I'm yet to play a male Hunter so that'll make it a little different a sall my Hunters thus far have been female. I'm thinking atmI'll probabl yget F1 2021 installed tomorrow so I can pla ythe story again and continue my career on that a bit. As fo rthe vampires the trick is kill the ones wit hthe timers on them a sthey'er the ones that hav efeeding frenzy o nthe mmeani9n they'll attack civilians the moment those timers hi tzero so if you kill them fast then deal wit hthe rest you should be OK as they have timers o nthem much like the hemaliscs do you'll notice.

At this rate all future Bioware games will be half done and modders need to rescue it for free.

F1 2023 story mode
Whoever wrote that plot has no idea how things work in a Formula 1 team. Or how people at that level would behave. The whole thing is like some angsty teen drama, written by a teen. At least it's good for a laugh.
Two young drivers throw temper tantrums for the smallest things. As if it's their first time in a competitive sport and they never experienced it before. And they think they are the hottest thing ever without the need to prove it. Some teammate drama in there that would have been solved if any adult took 5 minutes to talk them through. But the adults act at the most incompetent level of movie tier plotters and backstabbers. Then we have the usual daddy issues because every writer in the world seems to have them and can't stop writing them in.
There are so many things to write a story about in F1. But apparently it all has to be Drive to Survive (a silly pseudo F1 documentary series on Netflix) with heroes and villains. It made more sense in the "Grid Legends" setting where it's all fictional competitions and people.
I mean, there are some horror stories about poorly managed F1 teams. But that was back in the 1980ies. Nobody will get away with such shoddy behavior nowadays, let alone build a brand new team that fights for points. The only possible explanation for the whole mess is if "villain daddy" threw away over half a billion just to torment his son and another random kid.

Yeah I haven't played the new story mode yet as I plan to soon afte rI played the first one again. But yeah the first one was a bit like that as well. I think they jus tput something like that in to give us single player gamers something different to play outside of just career mode. Bu tthe firs tone was lik etha tas was the Journey moe a bit in Fifa. I als oheard somewhere that they were thinking of bringing the Journe yback for this years EA sports FC game but I don't know if that's true or just a rumour. Bsed on what I do know about how EA handles things I suspect it's just a romour even though I did like the Journey. I suspect the biggest chang ewill likely be a few new womens leagues to add to the 3 they gave us for Fifa 23. Mostly likely the German Spanish and Italian leagues I'd imagine given they added a couple of Greman Spanish and Italian clubs as part of the Women's Champions League they gave us alongside the NWSL update. I am looking forward to giving th Women's Wo0rld Cup mode a go though on Fifa 23 when that gets added next week I think as I heard that was coming on the 27th or something.

Not exactly "today", but I met the Legion expy in Honkai Star Rail. Voiced by DC Douglas, no less. Ah, yes, Svarog. Best robo dad. I actually now want to see a crack fic where Legion acts as a dad to Clara Shepard, a child clone of Shepard grown by the Lazarus Project as a source of stem cells and then quickly abandoned.
