We made it, we finally made it the park tour of Jurassic World Florida using square Biosyn Sanctuary. At first we take an overview of the park as well how the enclosures look from outside the pens and then (from 20:29) we enter the enclosure so you can see them up closer:
We end one park and we move to another one. Welcome as I work to remake my Jurassic World Oregon:

Took a break from Survivor and spent most of the day writing yesterday. The curse of creative writing is that when you get an idea in your head- you scramble to write it down no mater what time it is 12 Noon or 2 a.m. Luckily I have my phone with me so that even through the day at work when I have some down-time, I can pound out ideas when I get them so that I don't lose them. But yesterday, I must have typed close to 20 pages and once the ideas start flowing...I only stop when I no longer have any. And as I said before, I write what I see in my imagination. It's like a movie being projected off my brain in front of my eyes.
I've tried writing to music (like George Lucas does), but even though it's star wars music I'm playing....I often find it distracting, so I tend to write in silence and focus on what I am imagining, because the slightest disuption...it's like when a dream is fading that you want to hold onto.'
Weird, I know but that's how it works for me.
MIght play some SURVIVOR today

BG3 I've to admit I wasn't expecting Dumbo. I'm not going to ask what species the NPC is and how she's managing to fly so steadily if she's getting drunk. I was rather expecting a flop buzz butt Dumbo as I watched her drink. Baldurs Gate. Ok, I'm intimidated. The place looks so damn big and I'm not even at the heart of it. There're people everywhere and conversations going off that I'm now lost as to whether I should stop to talk to everyone. That's not even counting the outlying city area. I can see there are some stuff going on further out. It's that touristy feeling of feeling very lost in a foreign city and not knowing where to begin. Kudos to Larian Studios for making me feel this way. Cyberpunk do not give me this feeling because you know none of the NPCs walking around can be interacted with whereas in BG3, you can talk to anyone and you never know if a simple question is going to lead to a quest. I stopped to initiate dialogue when there are obvious confrontations. Not every one of them drop a quest though but it's interesting to see the sentiments of the citizens reflected in their words. I explored the outer area all the way down to the beach then decided to keep to one quest than pick up a slew so I backtracked and didn't talk to a NPC I saw.

Fallout 4Love having Piper along for the ride. With her I've noticed my character levels up really fast. I quickly raised her affinity to 63% by doing Preston's radiant quests and just helping people in general. Also although I was going to join the Brotherhood of Steel I decided against it and just stuck with the Minutemen. Also Piper seemed not too happy with the idea of me joining them. So have to keep the future wife happy. So basically that's it been improving Sanctuary and doing radiant quests before going to rescue Nick Valentine. Also I do not know how to play this game without my steel fortress power armor? When I wear regular armor I constantly getting lit on fire, blown up, or just gunned down. Any tips on how to play without being dependent on power armor? Happy New Year everyone! awbi.in/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/1-1024x576.jpg

GW2I made a male Norn Guardian, leveled the old fashion way. Took 9 hours. Bleh. Faster than it used to be since they added the "adventurer guides" which gives a big chunk of XP for doing certain things at certain level. I did level 79 to 80 by using the Mystic Forge and a super easy jumping puzzle (it could be any of them). He's at the level 30 storyline, aka the intro the 3 factions. StarfieldI reinstalled it and installed Mod Organized 2 which has release candidate with the game support released since about a month I think. Only StarUI installed and I haven't really decided if I continue my last character (who is in still in the intro) or make a new one. I kinda don't like her name. Or I just really liked it when Vasco was calling me Captain Black on my first character.

Been feeling urges to start Borderlands already so I ma ystar tthem a little earlier or a tleast test the first one in terms of difficulty at least. As I was originally goin gt owait until afte rI'd played anothe rrun of HZD. I may still do tha tfor most o fthem as I may still spread them out among my other games. Will stick with Forza today but I may switc to the first Borderlands when I'm done with Forza as I played some Fifa yesterday given I was doing New years eve stuff so didn't get to play Forza. I am planning on going back to Forza today though. The Borderlands games are all downloaded I just need to get on and play.

BG3
I decided to focus on companion quests although I've started on one of the main quests.
Shadowheart's quest is the first to be completed because the party went past the place she's supposed to go to. Then I did Gale's. Next is Astarion's.
He said to look for his pals and I found them but they vanished rather quickly before I could initiate conversation. Upon looking everywhere and not finding any hair of them, I reloaded after doing a search on why they vanished.
According to one answer, it's the Moonlantern. I removed it before trying to talk to the NPCs. They vanished again. Hmmm. I decided it could be Shadowheart's weapon because it emits light. No undead or evil being can tolerate it unless they succeed in saving throws. I had her switch to the crossbow she carries.
Nope. They vanished again once the party approached them. Ok, let's try this without everyone. I put Gale and Shadowheart next door while the PC and Astarion try once more to initiate conversation. This time, it went off. Upon reflection, I realised it's not about any weapon. It's Shadowheart herself. I forgot she has become something else and her presence alone is enough to drive away the lesser demons, etc.
I haven't talked to Withers but I did it on a return to camp. He spoke of someone close to the PC. I have unfortunately no idea which one he's talking about because he mention no names. Astarion? Wyll?
Wyll sprouted lovey dovey stuff when I chose the line; Let's talk about us. One of the options that sprang up is to tell him the PC and him are pals. It should be easy to break off because I chose to dance with him and nothing else except a meaningful look after.
With Astarion, the PC could ask him to bed which I didn't choose. He was hissy about the PC having another lover and said a lot more when I talked to him during travelling. He sounded jealous. 🤣

So as I go through Hogwarts the more you can def see some of the overdone open world stuff. I wouldn't mind some of it but at one point completing them stops giving any xp. Like you get xp for completing the challenge aspects of the game, like kill # of baddies, or complete # merlin trials. But once you do any extras you a big fat nothing, no exp and no rewards. Like the Merlin trials, I finished those up and there are still plenty more on the map but if I do them I get nothing...so why put more?
Also the loot chambers...so many of those that give rubbish and are just a repeated little layouts.
Still though its been fun with the main story, actual side quests and combat

Fallout 4
Rescued Nick Valentine and let's just say he is not what I expected. Although he is one of my favorite npc's along with Piper. Love that noir detective style. Did the interview with Nick then we both went to investigate Kellog's apartment. We found a used cigar which we let dogmeat smell and he picked up the scent. After taking us to various locations we came upon Fort Hagen where Kellog was hiding. After killing some synth's we met Kellog after we got the information we killed him. Revenge for killing our wife and kidnapping our son. Went back to Cambridge police station and decided to do Paladin Danse's quest. That's where I left off. OH! Preston Garvey made us general of the Minutemen.
I find the idea of synth's fascinating after meeting Nick. I mean he has his own personality and talks like a real human. I know Piper said they had real flesh and blood, but I thought they were like the Terminator. Just machines with no personality. Anyway although I am not going to join them I want to see what The Railroad, Brotherhood of Steel, and Institute thinks about them. Especially the Institute since they created them.

The Talos Principle III've managed to complete the first 3 regions on the island. And, suprise-surprise... there are puzzles! The puzzles are very similar to the ones in TTP1, but they've added little extra gameplay features. Lasers... but with the ability to change their color. Walls you can "quantum tunnel" through. Etc. Story-wise, the philosophical debates central to TTP continue, though this time with the island residents "Prometheus", "the Sphynx", and "Pandora". And because the robo-city has some impressive wifi range , you get to weigh on the sometimes-weighty discussions with the other citizens through your iPad-esque tablet. Each hub on the island has some pretty impressive architecture. Every once in a while you see some wildlife poping out as well. I watched a rabbit chasing this fox around for ages...

2023 really was the year of the gaming hiatus for me. I did play the prologue in Robocop, it was a lot of fun. The introduction of skill trees killed some of my interest for now. I had a little skill tree PTSD I guess. Haha.
My recent hiatus ended after watching Andor and Rogue One, and wanted more Star Wars. First, I started with the OG Star Wars Battlefront, I played through the Empire Era campaign. It took me a number of tries before earning victory at the battle of Hoth. I enjoy this mission, but actually having to use your NPC allies can be frustrating. Though the arising misadventures can be funny too, like three snow speeders trying to rope the same AT-AT and crashing into each other, or when I was curious if I could ditch my co-pilot mid flight, so I told him to get out, and he immediately jumped. Geronimo! Yeah, you need a co-pilot to run the rope gun, but they have a tendency to steal your craft if you leave it unattended for five seconds!
After this I started Jedi Survivor, still in the prologue.

BG3 A NPC is rather persuasive but I remembered what Withers said in a conversation. He asked a question but instead of leaving it to the PC to figure it out, he gave the answer. It's a surprise because he hardly gives answers to the questions he asked. I take it as a warning. A warning I have to heed. Thus, when this NPC speaks, I decided to play along than outright put a boot down. This NPC just gave me the of my life. What are the heck are you up to? I played along but gave a definite no when the NPC suggested changing the relationship. The PC is definitely not in a relationship with Astarion. I finished his quest and what he said after, in camp, made this clear. This was after I decided to draw a line with Wyll. So that's two companions who are not LIs. If Shadowheart say something, it's going to be a no because I intend to make a guy for her in another PT. Maybe this PC would end up with nobody.

The Talos Principle 2So with those first 3 hubs activated, we now enter the pyramid megastructure we found when we first arrived. And inside we find... probably the best rendition of a Borg ship in gaming. Of course, I'm running around trying to find any hidden goodies in here. So, what gives? "X" marks the spot! Eventually, the puzzle section opens up and it is a huge space. Relatively simple puzzles here, but lots of running around... You definitely get your daily steps in here. So it wraps up with another quick message, a brief jog back to the landing pad, then out again. Or... that was the plan, anyway. ... Yes, I fell through the world. Again.

Fallout 4
Did the radio tower quest with Paladin Danse. Once the mission was complete he offered me a chance to join the Brotherhood of Steel. I respectively declined his offer. Went to Goodneighbor with Nick to seek out the Memory Den. Once inside we entered Kellog's memories. Once that was done I spoke to a ghoul about the Silver Shroud he sent me to recover the costume from a nearby costume shop. Got the costume gave it to him. He offered me the chance to take the costume and silver assault rifle and become the Silver Shroud. I agreed and he sent me on some quests involving cleaning up Goodneighbor of all of the delinquents. The ghoul was kidnapped by some gang leader. I did not like how this questline ended. No matter what I did the ghoul kept on getting killed. It bummed me out but after multiple reloads I had to progress. Met the mayor of Goodneighbor the ghoul Hancock. Really liked him and wish he was a companion.

NHL 22So my 'ocassional sports update even though I've been playing a lot of sports games of late'. Actually its been growing more and more tempting hence my activity and me coming to you guys. And because of maybe games that could be coming up in the rotation I just might start another franchise afterall. Chief amongst these though is that I have been updating the rosters to what the Bruins/ Avalanche have today...more or less. Not entirely, I have kept a couple of players, but that has been what I have been doing recently. And well my big thrust for today has been doing that with the Bruins. I had an active season going, couple of players that I liked, liked how it was going, but I was reminded that the season mode only does 1 season...its the Franchise mode that does multiple which would be more preferable to me. So I might restart a franchise as the Bruins but that does mean that I had the inspiration to indeed update the roster. Picked up both Kevin Shattenkirk from the Ducks and James Van Rymesdyke from the Philadelphia Flyers. Even not being as into Hockey as I have been still know of both players, still like both players, and happy they are on the Bruins so I put them on the Bruins. I also updated David Pastranak's stats since he has actually gotten an overall boost from the old game. He's a 95 now instead of a 91...I mean coming off a 60 goal season its almost to be expected. First game with this updated lineup against the St. Luis Blues. Won 4-3. Tied at 2 after 1 period. They had a 3-2 lead after 2. And I scored the final two in the third. Ulmark had a pretty good game I think they had like 23 or 25 shots...I had 60. They do seem to love boosting opposing goalies. And well basically all three of the highlighted players contributed. Pasta scored the second goal of the game. Marchand kind of tried to 'shoot' the puck but it ended up going right through the goalie crease but right on Pasta's stick and he buried it. Then on one of the most beautiful goals I've scored in the game, at least this time...3-3 with a minute left. Shattenkirk gets the puck down low almost behind the net. Pretty sure I had him shoot it and either it rebounded or again missed but Van Riemsdyk was sitting low in the slow and it bounced off him for a deflection goal with a minute left, 4-3 Bruins. Other fun story line is that all the Czechmates contributed. (Pasta, David Krejci, and Pavel Zacha) all contributed even though I officially broke them up so they are on different lines (decided to reunite the perfection line of Bergeron, Marchand, and Pasta). But yeah Pavel got the first goal of the game when Husso decided to pass the puck instead of holding it and it went right to Zacha who buried it. Krejci meanwhile tied the game up kind of in a similar situation. Had a lot of puck luck this game actually but pressured it on a small breakaway and then had it buried. Up next I still might mess with the lines a bit more and I have also endeavored to do what I did with Madden and actually see if I can't figure out how to use Pasta's super star ability with more frequency and also figure out how to do more of those deflection goals which can be a neat way of scoring and as you saw it was vital today. God of War RagnarokThe grind continues. Making progress like the Doctor hitting a diamond wall for billions of years to chip away at it and get to the other side...making progress. First when it came to it ran into another one of those bull things that got me last time. Blasted away at it with the axe boomerang ability and just targeted it all on that thing, knocked it down till about half health and I just wailed on the thing. Took me three or four tries to get into it but also got back to the time trial thing and in a weird twist of fate I made some progress. At least in terms of figuring out what to do. The thing kind of loops around to the beginning so you go up, get chest, go back down. Thing is I just couldn't find the final Vahalla's chosen for the like of me in there so it got to max difficulty level before I got back in there and well it killed me. easily. But more info on what to do now *thumps up*. Also had a fun conversation with Eir. AC MirageCan't believe I am going to say this but I kind of wish the contracts were a little bit more...radiant? It actually seems like there is a limit to them. Don't quite know what that limit is IE if it will refresh with new ones as you advance the story for difficulty but there is definitley a limit. It does make sense given you can get skill points from them and it does help keep things tidey but as I have mentioned they are actually nice little tactical scenarios to play through kind of so have some utility. Speaking of though the 'tales of Baghdad' are now two for two. Granted all the problems with the ACV world events apply, as I mentioned, they are just more vignitte's then actual stories and there isn't a lot of creativity. But both of the ones I have done have been fun and they at least have fixed the 'what the hell am I doing problem' from the last one. Today's involved climbing up to a vantage point and on the way up this small kid also wanted to jump and do the Leap of Faith because he had heard of the Hidden Ones and wanted to get their attention by doing their thing since he claimed they avenged his mother years ago. Basim of course gives him pointers on how to do it and the two do it. I was a bit nervous because seeing the Leap of Faith from an outsider perspective is actually much more terrifying then doing it just *THUNK*. But he was fine. The coup was that this other woman called his name and my jaw dropped because it was very familiar for fans of ACV. I was quite pleased. On the combat front trying to figure out how to work with my tools and what not and what upgrades will work with them and what won't. On the smoke bomb front it does do that assassin fantasy thing where it chokes people out and can assassinat them. Been having a lot of fun with that as it gives you the opprotunity to at least slightly balance the scales if you get into trouble. Of course this could lead to you over relying on them and if you are out you are fricked. May be of a concern but may also need to keep an eye on got the upgrade that turns the smoke bomb into a flame bomb. How I read the description I thought it was supposed to be only if it got exposed to flames and that ignites it but I tried doing it just all random like, almost, and the thing went off burning me and the targets...then I died and have to start back quite a ways. I'm annoyed. Also unlocked the sleep dart thing and the tension there is there is an upgrade to make the thing lethal. But I really want at least one non lethal option for reasons just in case I don't feel like killing anyone so what to do...but I discovered and it occured to me that I could use the sleep dart and even if I want to kill them...I'll just kill them. Also got confirmation on how Noteriety works in real time and it can be a threat. Actually a couple of things happened there! But yeah the system is easy to clear, relatively, but not as easy as the Odyssey system. Still it can sneak up on you. And I was just minding my own business not hurting anybody with 1 tier noteriety in the middle of the street and a civi starts yelling 'criminal scum! the criminal is here! guards!' And there actually was a guard close by who came to investigate and get into a fight with him. The immortals meanwhile are probably, relatively speaking, pretty tough opponents...but not impossible since I have now killed three of them. Another thing about the game is its kind of hard to follow along with the investigations, these aren't exactly traditional quests and they get 'solved' very quickly so I think for purposes of spoilers I am going to stick to ones I consider more of the hubs, IE those actually involving some singificant plot development or involving the death of an Order member...to that end... The Book Burner. So interesting stuff going on here and first moral conundrum relevant to some of the above thoughts.
Go to the House of Wisdom to investigate the Order's presence there and instantly stumble upon a good ole fashioned book burning. ANd missing books. Of course I personally suspect the two aren't actually mutually exclusive that they are not actually burning books just stealing them and using the burning as a partial cover. But that has yet to be confirmed.
Anyways though first little incident happened here because one of the places I was asked to investigate ended up being filled with guards. But I wasn't actually sure how much influence the Order has or are these people just random guards doing their job. So I didn't want to kill them...wasn't quite successful...but they chased me away.
Somehow I got mixed up and started pursuing another investigation path. This time following a scholar who promised to have information. He led me into a three way ambush and I discovered that there are more then just one armored type of enemy in this game. And the one with swords is a lot tougher and more nimble then the ones with the...big maces I suppose they are. Plus I have also discovered that these guys are pretty tough if they have regular opponents with them...the whole tanks with infantry phenmnon. But I did persevere after two times of doing it so right now getting a little tempted to turn down difficulty but not too much and haven't hit the three times dead in a single encounter.
Anywho though because of this pissing me off and me taking this as evidence that the Order had infiltrated the House of Wisdom I proceeded to slaughter the guard force in the first building. ANd I discovered the guy I was supposed to be there for was already brutally murdered. But he put me onto the next destination.
And that led to being the next Order member. Her name is Zahra.
Not sure if its what I did entirely or a plot point yet but I decided to take advantage of a muscian just outside Zahra's estate. A bunch of guards showed up to watch him play and then Basim made a note that the estate was entirely empty. Again not sure if its something I did or all the guards were gone because plot but it did help investigate the place.
Anyways after investigating the place and getting to the rooftop she showed up. I was a bit too cocky...fire bombed myself...and died as a result.
