Its a bit confusing ... but im used to having my quest list jammed full as i tend to be a completionist anyways.
is there any order the quests need to be done in? or do the enemies scale with you? Im asking because i just landed on Voeld.. decided to do a mission on EOS for Cora before moving forward on Voeld...
just dont want to find myself going into a part of the story or a mission and being way out levelled and OP AF ..i like a bit of a challenge.
I can say this.. theres a whole lot to explore in the game and a lot of side missions ..they didnt skimp out on the stuff outside the story arc regardless of its overall relevance to the end story.

Ignore the "Additional Tasks" as the majority of them are fetch quests that only get you experience or money. My recommendation is to focus on the story missions as most of them take you to all the places the side quests are, anyway. That way, the story will be a challenge. I completed the first few planets and was so OP mid way through that I just breezed through battles.

Did you try upping the difficulty to offset your OP equipment?

Yes, eventually. It was still pretty easy although I was an insanity level person for the OT and for ME3 MP I preferred Gold and Platinum. SO, your difficulty mileage may vary. Still, the fetch quests are a waste of time, especially the ones that make you go between planets and systems.

Yep the game is chock-full of boring crap to do. Clearly devs learned nothing from the reaction to DAI and Witcher 3. Bioware became so trashy

Bioware became so trashy Haha the Witcher quests fun what are you on? i think the witcher 3 had interesting quests... but as fun that game was for the 300 hours i put into my 1st playthrough there was quite a few boring side quests as well. Witcher 3 had a lot of gather this and go kill those quests . Every RPG has them..In the witcher there was probably only 60 hours of story with 200+ hours of side quests . I dont mind a lot to do.. but i will say there is a difference between the witcher 3 extras and this game.. this game some feel flat and no real purpose.. at least in Witcher 3 many felt like they fit into a larger purpose. Im still very much enjoying this game.. but im not going to get caught into the trap of playing it constantly.. many people will just grind the game and bore themselves. I'll play this and go play some other games for a while.. and come back to this.. I think a player can burn themselves out of a games mechanics if they try to do too much in big swaths of time. ..

Yeah the only reason I can make any progress in SP is by taking 2-3 day breaks from it. I can only take so much monotony and shit dialog per gaming session.

The Witcher 3 side quests, taken as a whole, are the best in gaming history IMO. Can you name a game with better side quests?

Since I haven't full delved into it I can't say my opinion of the quests but if they are at least as good as in past games or even more like The Witcher 3 I'll have fun.
