Wtf it stops at 20? I guess it's just screw everyone you didn't wake up before you maxed it out. I assumed it would start at 20 on NG+ and go to 40 or whatever so you could wake up everyone else but nope, starts at 1 again.

But then you wouldn't be forced to think about how you want to spend the points that you didn't know were limited.

When the Nexus points started showing a minus after level 20 I was kind of disappointed. I really wanted to be able to get everyone out eventually. Even if it meant that level was only possible in a NG+.

Pretty sure that assistant confirmed my character's question about being able to wake up everyone eventually...
The game lied to me. ((ヾ(≧皿≦メ)ノ))

The game guide says that you should get enough extra points when you hit level 20 to unlock all cryo pods. Maybe it's a bug, or they changed it after Prima made the guide. Both are very plausible.

I assumed that, if you put enough work into it, you would able able to eventually unlock all of the cryo-pods, but that the higher lvl ones would be harder. I was NOT prepared for the points to stop counting abruptly; and after the patch and the inventory lvl increase I got mad because now the points I put into inventory are POINTLESS.
Not to mention you companions only use a certain amount of their skill points and then the rest sit there wasted. This game....

Some of the cryo pods are useless (all the ones about credits, if you craft a lot, or all the ones about crafting if you buy your equipment) so it's ok to make some choices

Right now even one of the better ones (Fusion Mods) is buggy and actually makes some of those mods worse, if the descriptions are to be believed.

You may not get to unlock them via cryo pod points, but the ending of the game kinda tells you what happens with them.

Not to mention you companions only use a certain amount of their skill points and then the rest sit there wasted. This game.... Max level for squadmates is level 70. Maybe for a dlc, Bioware adds another power for each Max level for Ryder is level 132. At level 130, I had all powers maxed at level 6 I do agree about the avp stuff. Maybe in a dlc it will be raised or in a sequel Bioware will raise it

I'm almost certain that one of the devs mentioned pre-release that we won't be able to wake everyone up in a game, but they're eventually woken up. Additionally, in DAI we had influence lvl cap as well, even though it made as little sense gameplay wise as Nexus cap. So adding those two points together, I wasn't surprised when I hit the cap.
Quick edit: Of course I had to find it right after posting... Adding to first part:
Ian S. Frazier @ PAX @tibermoon The idea of certain people NEVER waking up isn't really a thing in the game. The ones you don't wake up in gameplay presumably get woken up post-MEA once things are more established, IF you do your job right.

Agree they should raise the level cap of the nexus, if there was not, I would have at least 5 points to get permanent bonus cause I did most of the side quests.
