does anyone comment during banter about romance. Wondering because..

Have not seen any banter commenting on romance, or indicating rivalry.

Cora comments on Sara and Jaal's romance, and Liam and Jaal discuss certain things when Sara is romancing Jaal.

DanaDuchy uploaded all of the banters, it seems almost every combination has at least one.

Banter fires more often in Andromeda than in Inquisition, but the Inquisition romances were more widely acknowledged by the other NPCs. Let's use Sera as an example, because she's the best and I know more about her than everyone else.

Sera:
-Has "Woman Who Wants For Nothing" quest where you go around to the rest of the team and ask them all about gifts for her
-Blackwall/Sera party banter "she has tension, and I get it gone"
-Cassandra/Sera party banter "if you are going to pursue this, make it worth it...be happy"
-Dorian/Sera party banter "illustrious paramour"
-Cole/Sera party banter "you make words into new words"
-Bull/Sera party banter "bed your way to power"
-Solas/Sera party banter (mage Inky only) "not you [nickname], you're all right"
-Solas/Sera party banter (elf Inky only) "you fancy her too?"
-Varric/Sera party banter "these sorts of romances often don't end well"
-Vivienne/Sera party banter "even though she makes me happy and it has piss-all to do with you"
-Cassandra conversation (Trespasser, before getting married)...offers marriage advice
-Dorian conversation (Trespasser, after getting married) "I should call Sera Mrs. Inquisitor from now on"
-Sera party banter (Trespasser, Elven Mountain Ruins) - "not our honeymoon", Dorian, Vivienne, Cassandra, Blackwall all comment on the marriage, Sera's retort to Vivienne is beautiful
-Sera party banter (Trespasser, Vir Dirthara) - "she makes it fine!", Cassandra and...Blackwall?...also reassure her
-Sera party banter (Trespasser, Vir Dirthara, after meeting the Viddasala) - "fighting's better with candy", various companions comment on her being distracted, dialogue if in relationship adds "I've got better at home" (tested with f!Adaar romance, might be different for non-qunari)

I've romanced Dorian with a Male Qunari, and what I got was Cassandra thinking my Inquisitor is going to propose to Dorian, and Vivienne talking about him as that Teviner boy I am dating - both in Trespasser. I had most characters in my party while playing (except Blackwall/Iron Bull), flirted only with Dorian and a touch with Cassandra. Overall, the banter was rare prior to Trespasser, and really not as in-depth and complex as in Andromeda. I definitely prefer Andromeda in that respect, even though I have not heard anyone commenting on Jaal's romance. I normally have him in the party, and someone else.

The last time I have seen the: "We both love you, please chose one of us!" banter was in ME1 (Ahley vs Liara). And I have to go back to KOTOR2 to have two NPCs feuding over my PC's affections.

There's quite a bit more banter related to all the romances in DAI pre-trespasser - maybe you had one of the early bugs that meant it didn't trigger in your game? There's a list of the Dorian ones Here

PeeBee talked with Cora about how my Chris Ryder has a great ass and Cora was like "None of my business!"
When Jaal sleeps during a drive PeeBee will act as if she's getting it on with Ryder to wake up Jaal as a prank.

If you romance Suvi then Suvi and Kallo talk about it on the bridge. Only one exchange though.

I have heard an exchange between Jaal and Liam. Jaal asked Liam for... sex tips with humans. (specifically erotogenous zones ) Not sure if that's romance conversation but I think it is.

I believe Lexi comments on any companion or crew romance if you ask her how *blank* is doing.
