I personally like to imagine that someone worked up the krogan karate fight as a joke and everyone found it so funny that they decided to keep it in.

More likely they paid a lot of money to capture that stuff and realised what it looked like too late to pull it.

The period between the E3'2015 announcement and the E3'16 terrible trailer was actually the golden age of Andromeda. When we actually could hope it would be an aamzing game.

When we thought there might be a planet with a "firestorm" as awesome as that from Mad Max, for example.

This is what I was getting at.

I was going to post this sentiment with just the 2015 trailer.

Its basically the moment Andromeda started to and stopped feeling like a Mass Effect game.

The feels are there the music is there. The final send off from Shepard promising that:

You, are that explorer now

Where ever you go.

What ever you do.

We, will be with you.


Aaaand then the Asari are deflecting incoming fire from a frigate back the enemy.

And Krogan have become soft spoken wussified immasculated feminised fluoro coloured and non threatening.

Prone to cut scenes like that one...

But yeah I decided not to do that.

"Man, that guy knows some maneuvers!"

Really just as a base concept I have to believe that this scene started as a joke.

I thought we had this pretty well settled in the trilogy; krogan hand to hand combat is headbutts. Headbutts for days.

Also on a side note, personal opinion: Morda's VA is the worst in the game. Maybe the worst in the franchise. Maybe the worst that Bioware has ever hired.
