I managed to get Naming the Dead to complete on EOS in a new play through yesterday. Does anyone know if it was patched in 1.08 as this is my first new play through since 1.08 was released. If not then what I found was that I counted all the dead and was certain I had done them all (6th PT) starting with the guy ("Howell"?) behind the building near the parked shuttle at site 1. When I scanned the last one the mission didn't complete but the number updated so I figured one of the previous scans didn't register or update the mission. I went back to Howell to start again and it let me scan him again and the mission completed. Maybe just dumb luck but hope that helps others if it is a solution. If I recall right, the first guy that starts the mission is by Clancy's shuttle, then you find a dead body just outside of site 2 that was bludgeoned to death. Inside site 2 you have a dead Turian and Asari, then you find a dead woman where you meet PeeBee. The second monolith is where you scan only one of 3 bodies, then you end it with the guy who was autopsied alive by the Kett in the area you meet Drack. Yep, that's the exact order I did them in but in my 5 previous games it only worked the first time. This time I decided to go back and do them in the same order when the mission didn't complete and when I scanned the guy I found first ( "Promise: Theo J. Harwell" and yes he is next to Clancy's shuttle) the mission completed.

Save Data File Error on Xbox One persistently appearing even though I have now deleted that entire game save and started the game again with a new character. Despite the message, the game save will launch and run, but I didn't trust it for obvious reasons. Therefore, I have uninstalled the game and am currently reinstalling it. If that doesn't eliminate the message, I give up.
The message appears to have started happening when internet connectivity was randomly lost during a lightning storm.
ETA: I have found some information talking about getting stuck on the loading screen (which did happen just before this save data message first came up. Recommendation was to clear the Alternate MAC address on the Xbox One. I wish I could have found this out before uninstalling everything... just noting it here in case the problem comes back after the game is finished reinstalling.
ETA: My problem is internet connected... apparently my upload speed is 0 when Microsoft Live tested it. As a result, the game doesn't receive the confirmation of deleting the corrupted data (probably caused due to the game saving during a fluctuation during a recent thunderstorm), so it won't clear the message until it can receive that confirmation. I'm working on getting the modem issues sorted out and will post if the message clears after we get that fixed.

I had no problem the first time round (although I had to use the Prima guide to find all the bodies). I'm doing another run and just noticed that, although it looked like I'd found them all, the quest didn't complete. I'll have to try this and see if it works. Thanks!

I'm working on getting the modem issues sorted out and will post if the message clears after we get that fixed. I finally did get the error message to clear. With a solid Live connection in place, however, using the "A" button response to the error message in game did not delete the corrupted data even though it said it would. To clear the message, I have to go into my Manage Games menu, select my profile, and then select "Saved Data" and then "delete everywhere." There was no option to delete the corrupted old save without also deleting the new one I had just started that would not have been corrupt. Furthermore, for a person with only a Free Live Membership, there is no way to select to delete information just from the cloud storage and no way to prevent the game form backing up saves to the cloud despite the fact that the cloud storage could not be accessed by the player with a free account at any time anyway (i.e. the backups are useless). This is not an acceptable circumstance in my view and Bioware should take steps to improve how this game handles saving data. I don't see it happening... but Microsoft should also allow players with free accounts some way to at least clear out the cloud without affecting the saves on the local console.

On PC, I have the latest game patch(es), up to date video card drivers, settings/resolution correctly detected by the game, but my game does not stay fullscreen after alt tabbing out.
Anyone got any advice? So far the only way to get the game back to fullscreen is to play around with the video output settings and the game reverts back to full screen until the next time I alt tab out to do something else.

Common shortcut for full screen." Apparently it broke after patch 1.05

I am having trouble with Paraan Shae when Ryder first visit in Aya. You are supposed to follow her , but she will just stop and not walk and I get stuck. If I walk past her they will shoot me. If you go back towards the guards they tell you to catch up, but she does not move. Did repair the game and disabled the mods, but seems not to change. Its very frustrating

Its very frustrating I had the same issue recently, took 5-6 attempts, It didn't seem to be a problem the first time I played. Biggest problem was stopping after the stairs, in the end I just stayed very close and tried moving slightly to one side. Got stuck once, but moving a little past Paraan Shae and going back got things moving again. If I went too far it seemed to break. Just kept trying again by getting shot when progress halted. Sorry it's not very useful, just a me too post. I did get through it though!

I got her moving after 10+ re-loads. Probably the only thing you can do since it is at the begin of the walk. Just re load and re load and re load I am just happy it wokred out

Some new stuff for me ... a game run that was started after 1.08 and "stuff" not experienced on previous runs.
Voeld. Started out, level 2 cold did not go away at the point it normally does, though the dialog triggered that the cold had subsided. Going into a forward drop zone gave temp relief, but as soon as I exited the circle, back to level 2 hazard. Extracted to Tempest and came back, once leaving the level 2 area, level 2 hazard went away but level 1 hazard did not trigger, reverted to safe range temps instead. Did nearly half the early part of Voeld (pre-Moeshe and before saving the abducted Angara), eventually, exiting the level 2 hazard on the third monolith, triggered level 1 hazard. I've had the level 1 hazard bug out before ... but as a visual, the hit on life support was there, just not displayed. This time, actual hazard was bugged out, not just the graphic. Level 2 displayed properly, just didn't transition to level 1 when I left the level 2 zone. The level 2 hazard was definitely active.
Voeld. Later in the same run. Trying to get the last scan on "Gone Dark" task. After defeating Kett at a campsite, could not scan the Angara tech. Extracted to Tempest, came back, no change. Total of three sites that the tech was displayed, but could not scan it, to complete that phase of the task. Extracted to Tempest, went to MP to play an APEX mission. Came back, initially, Angara tech wasn't triggering, feared that the task was totally bugged, then one finally appeared, could scan it, task progessed and was able to complete it.
Voeld. Vault and Earn Your Badge ... Destroyer becomes invulnerable, looks like it is moving in very slow motion (but can still damage you), then finally is moving normally again and can take damage. Wasted a lot of ammo during the invulnerability period.
This stuff could have existed, pre-patch 1.08, but I did not see it in previous runs. This run was created after patch 1.08 was deployed, so not some kind of mismatch between pre- and post- patch 1.08 game mechanics.

Anyone else experience this?

I have never had that with Buxil. She just keeps coming up with the same lines she says when you talk to her on the ramp in the Kett Command centre when you finish the kett command centre even back at the Daar where she is. I am going to go back again to Voeld today as I think it may be because I just went in and cleared the cave without fighting the Kett above ground. My life support fighting the Architect was lasting only 10 to 15 seconds. Normally I can get through one leg with one remnant spawn before having to seek cover to restore life support. Yesterday I couldn't even get through shooting the opening the first time before running to a building. Maybe I have just never noticed the grenades coming through the walls before as the battle has normally gone faster. In my previous PT's I'd say 90% of sites have remnant or Kett in them, yesterday it was incredibly obvious that a lot of them were empty, could have been as high as half of them. Another thing I remembered was that in my last two games, doing the medical cache mission I have not been able to interact with the wounded Angaran female at one of the sites whereas before you could talk to her.

So another new issue yesterday, The prompt for the Path of a Hero quest where it asks you to speak to Kerri's producer has inexplicably appeared on my screen and I am not even at that stage with the quest and it cannot be removed. Even tried a repair. Bonus material is The Adhi v Creepers war in the background. At one stage there were 4 Adhi and at least 8 Creepers fighting. The Adhi won

I noticed a bug this time round that I don't think happened on my first run-through. The scene with shirtless Liam and naked Jaal in the Tempest cargo bay had an additional Jaal torso stuck in the scenery while the scene was going on! Very surreal

I just did the Medical Cache mission yesterday and I could talk to her fine (on Xbox). It happened to me last PT as well on PC so maybe its a 1.08 bug.
I've had that happen pre - 1.08. Usually the culprit is some enemy offscreen that you can't see, which makes NPCs non-interactable. In my last game I left and came back but then she was gone.
Same thing with the scientist studying the yevara. When I went inside the cave, all enemies outside the cave were dead, yet she wouldn't talk to me. I went back outside to discover respawned enemies. Once they were gone, then she was active.
This is why "combat mode" is stupid unless you are actually in a firefight.

99% of my problems with quests are guys that disappeared from the fight only to reappear later partially melded into a structure. It's always one baddie somewhere.

Also having the Voeld temp bug, which is new since 1.08. As posted above, the level 2 hazard did not go away at the designated spot and stayed in place until I brought down a forward station. Now I have constant safe zone (not complaining about that but I know it's a bug).
I wonder if they tried to fix the hazard bug post-vault and ended up with this as a result?
Playing on PC. This is a brand new game/char started after 1.08 was installed.

This is a brand new game/char started after 1.08 was installed. I got it too but I managed to get rid of it. I'm not sure that it works every time but I saved the game while in the vault, reloaded and the hazard was gone (I'm on Xbox). This was reported back in March and the official answer on the website is that the Hazard is not a bug: answer.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Hazard-2-bug-in-Voeld-vault/td-p/5941655So maybe getting rid of the hazard with save manipulation is the actual bug. Which makes sense, I guess, as what else is the point of those shield generators? As an aside I can't help thinking the Backup Life Support consumable is bugged because even with this Hazard it never seemed to make any difference when I used it!

So here is a question: I started a new game, trying to play a more military minded Scott Ryder. When I first met the three Nexus scientists before going to Eos (when they are still in the Nexus Operation Center, not in their lab at the docking bay), they offered me to start those tasks (hitting rocks for science and the one with the plants). I figured, doing some role playing, that my Ryder would initially refuse as there wer more important issues at hand. I expected the tasks to end up in my journal anyway or at least to be able to pick them up later. When you refuse, both guys say that it's not that urgent and imply that I could get back to it later (which was my intention). After this, I could no longer talk to them in the operations center (there was no interaction symbol anymore on them).
However, now I am done with Eos and the scientists have relocated to their normal tech lab at the docks, I still can't talk to them and from what I've seen, I'll never be able to take up the tasks again.
Now don't get me wrong, I am not super eager to do the filler quests, but I think it is weird that after that one chance to get them, you seem to be completely locked out of those quests. It's especially weird, given that the character imply something different. So, did I miss something? Is there a way to still pick up the tasks somehow? Or am I locked out of getting a 100% playthrough done yet again?
