It balances out, sort of. I'm getting more cases where enemies are moving into solid structures and firing out of them, but I can't seem to hit them. There are also times, enemies get stuck on some invisible ledge making the encounter easy. PS4.
I've been getting the phantom email dialogue since the last patch. Same spot on the Tempest, every time. As for enemies getting stuck and firing from within walls, only once on the 'Turian Golden World.'
Thus far, the only bug I've experienced consistently is having no background music. At all. Ever. Not game breaking, at least, but kinda lonely.
Wait...I did have Vetra die once and I couldn't revive her, and her dead body kept floating along the ground, even when I tried switching Squadmates or going to the Tempest. That...was creepy. I closed the game and reloaded and she was back to normal though.

This is the one that drives me nuts. On Havarl it took me 15 minutes to do the Roekaar camp (where you get the guy to touch the ancient artifact) except for the last enemy who took almost 25 minutes as he was inside the cliff face behind the stairs. Once I found exactly where he was by getting shot at I was able to spam shockwave till he died.
I have lost count of the times this has happened on all maps.

New one for me, just started an NG+ game using a previous NG+ save and chose "default Sara" as the twin.
Got a huge surprise when Icould talk to my twin as she was my previous female character and not default Sara. Was even funnier as she is Asian and my created male Ryder is not at all Asian looking and neither was Alec??????

Two more quests I can't complete: 1. Earn Your Badge quest I've completed all three steps: fought the ancient fiends, fought the Kett, and fought the Remnant. The Remnant portion of the quest itself had a bug. The count of destroyed Remnant gets stuck at 14/15 after the last Remnant wave which makes that portion of the quest impossible to beat. I had to restart it three times. Each time it would get stuck the same way with plenty of time to spare but no Remnant in sight. It worked on the third try. Unfortunately, I didn't report back to the quest giver right away. After completing Jaal's loyalty mission and several other side quests I decided to go back to the quest giver, who's clearly marked with a quest marker above his head, but for some reason the action button in front of him can't be activated.
2. The second "quest" doesn't even show up in the list of quests, so I'm not quite sure if it actually has a bug or if it's a "bug inception"--a bug within a bug. On Kadara I met a group of refugees. One of them, a Turian doctor, needed some sort of medicine for his injured patient. Seemingly unrelated to the doctor's request, a Salarian from the same group of refugees decided out of the blue to give me some UV lamps he no longer needed. Neither of those two actions showed up in the list of quests, which I found a bit odd but didn't think much of it. A while later I came across a couple of space stoners whose "medicinal" plants were dying. I gave them the UV lamps and after a quick scan my Ryder determined that their "medicinal" plants actually had medicinal properties... and then... nothing. I don't have the option to talk to the the stoners again, they've given me neither a payment nor a reward for the lamps, and I can't harvest any of their plants. I've gone back to them twice so far and still nothing. The Turian doctor is still asking for the medicine I promised to bring. I'm sure the two things are related but either I missed a step somewhere or there is a bug preventing me from getting those plants.

So the fallout from this is my twin is invisible in the memory scenes🤔
I hope there's a way to repair save games, because my Ryders got their faces "mangled" from an epic crash on my PC. Didn't notice it because I was on a planet (with helmets on). By the time I realized, it was too late. ;

Game is borked. Got the Windows 10 Creator update on Friday. Tried to play today. I get a black screen on launch. It I alt+ctrl+delete it goes to window where I can see the game.
Driver updated and repaired the game files, restarted computer, same crap. Disgusted. Is there anything I can do? I do not have the Corsair Utility Engine.
Found a video of the problem I am experiencing:

Above problem is solved. Here's how:
Apparently the Creator update reset my monitor refresh rate. I know. That's f'ked. But it did.
Right click on your display. Select "display adaptor properties" and then select "Monitor." Next make sure your refresh rate is for whatever the game is set for which in my case is 60ghz. If you see 59ghz as I did then that's the culprit.
I've been pretty fortunate not to have many bugs at all through my game play (save for a weird head rotating Exorcist-Scott Ryder moment in one conversation)
However, this morning I experienced two pretty significant, one game breaking, bugs.
To note, I'm 66% complete, still have not finished Hunting the Archon, nearly 60 hours played.
1. I was on the Galaxy Map and scanned a destroyed ship for Suvi (I can't remember the solar system) and it zoomed in really far and way off outside the solar system. From there, I was unable to back out to the solar system view, reset the view or do anything. It was locked in. I exited the Galaxy Map and when i went back in, it was still in the same position and couldn't do anything. Reloading an autosave did nothing to fix it. I had to reload a save before the bug for it to work properly.
2. I usually run my Ryder with helmets on except for conversations until I complete the vaults, then I switch settings to have Helmets off. I finished Liam's loyalty mission follow up on Eos with my helmet off, then tracked Avitus Rix to the Turian Ark where it automatically put my helmet on. I played probably an hours worth of gameplay after this and didn't know anything was wrong until I landed on Kadara and went off port to see my helmet was on but the rest of my crews were off. I went to my settings to see it was set to off and changing the settings did nothing to remove it even after setting it on and then off.
So I thought okay maybe this will work itself out somehow. I went to Aya to finish up a side quest and my Ryder, in full civilian clothes... no armor, no helmet etc. had the helmet comm filter over his voice despite not having a helmet. I think this kind of broke something so I'm going to have to go back and reload prior to even going to the Turian ark to make sure my helmet is set to on and hope it doesn't result in this bug again.

Anyone know if the "build improved shield generator for the Nomad" task been addressed? It's the only task I've been unable to complete after 3 playthroughs. Other than a few trophy things to knock out, I think I'm done with the SP.

I do the same thing with helmets as you and I have had the same voice issue but it was just a one off.

I reset it and game started normally.
Thanks for this, that update is coming but not released in my country just yet.
I run into a bug regarding the Angaran Armor Blueprints. Level VIII and IX are missing. In the research menu after the Level VII you see two Level VI (same cost of VIII and IX) and if you research them no new blueprint will be unlocked.
I made a video, if it may help.
I'm on Xbox One.
It's not a game breaking bug but it's a bit annoying to being unable to unlock two levels of the blueprint, especially when we actually spend Research points with no effect. I hope they will fix it
Trophy for "Promote a Strike Team to level 20". I've had 5 level 20 strike teams now. I've retired 1 for too many negative traits. Still no achievement. Any ideas?
I'd been holding off advancing SP until the next patch, but finally gave in and played the two Angara worlds ...
Someone posted before that the puzzle for PB's mission has (at least) two solutions, only one of which will be accepted by the game. I solved the puzzle, the game told me it was not acceptable (at least it didn't sick the Remnant on me) ... tried it two more times ... gave up, went and did other stuff, including firing up the three Remnant towers ... went back to PB's Remnant tech quest, solved the puzzle using a different solution. My guess ... simpler Sudoku-like puzzles can have more than one solution ... probably not true of the more complex puzzles. Less a bug than BioWare not having the foresight to allow any solution that satisfies the game rules ... instead, it looks for a single solution.
Another bug, this one tied to the trading quest that plays out on Zoeld. Got to the site where stuff was and Ryder calls out the ambush ... a couple of mooks a good distance away spawn ... and are doing nothing ... shooting them starts a skirmish, but when they are dead, the "ambush" does not show complete. Way, way, way up the hill/mountain there is another mook, barely visible, that is too far away to shoot and does not register on the HUD. You have to run up the hill/mountain to get in range, kill the mook, then the ambush portion of the quest completes, you can gather up the stuff and the quest sequences to allow you to deliver it to the trader on Aya.
The cold continues in the Remnant Vault on Zoeld ... counting down my health until I die. Upon respawn, the temps are set to acceptable when I use the gravity well and everything plays out (as I assume it was supposed to) in the vault. The specifics ... when I hit the gravity well and it resets my temps ... for whatever reason, when I exited it at the bottom, it acted like I was up top, with the colder temps. The autosave kept me close ... so I lost almost nothing ... just had to descend in the gravity well again and then do the mission without issue.
In several cases, someone I'm supposed to talk to, can't get the "E" button to show up. So far, in all the cases, approaching from some very narrow angle as resulted in the "E" showing up and I can engage in the conversation and progress with the quest. I should be able to approach from any angle. Or maybe approach from the front like a conversation ... but the very narrow approach corridor seems random ... based on the specific character I'm trying to interact with to get to the next stage of the quest. I'm just glad that eventually (so far), I find the angle that works.
Like others have posted, the latest Win10 update mucked with my settings. Didn't do anything to me in SP, but messed with me in MP, specifically with my mic. Annoying, but not a BioWare issue, instead MSFT updating/changing my settings issue. I'm still finding things, here and there, that the update changed, that I have to change back. Not a lot that BioWare can do about that.

Dirk Barrett thinks that I told him about the weapons stockpile but I didn't. Also, there I was just killing some local wildlife on Elaaden when, suddenly, the star gate from 2001: A Space Odyssey appeared right in front of me. Of course I had to jump right in.
Sadly, no creepy baroque room for my Sara.
I had a manual save right before this, so it was an easily fixable issue.

I got the same bug too. Could be because when they reached level 20 we were using the Apex HQ App? Just a thought. The strange thing is when I look at the achievement list on my Xbox One I read under that very achievement X% of players unlocked it. Everyone I heard was unable to unlock the achievement.

That's what I was thinking. Friendly Fire achievement is bugged also. I'm on my 3rd playthrough and still can't "build the improved shield generator" and "earning you badges" is borked this time. This fukin' game.
Biovar plox fix this movie night bug on new game plus because it's beyond annoying when I try to talk to someone and he goes "OH I SEE YOU GOT *insert what* FOR THE PARTY", when I didn't yet get it.
Getting a lot of bugs on Voeld on my NG+. This wasn't an issue in my initial playthrough. First, the Task: Gone Dark is bugged to where when I stumble onto the Angara tech, it tells me to scan, but I am unable to scan as it thinks I have already scanned it. Also, the sniper that you're supposed to recruit near Techix is bugged out for me as well. He doesn't trigger when you are in the area. Actually, a lot of quests on my NG+ playthrough haven't triggered properly. Please fix as the completionist in me is frustrated!
