Halfway through it. You can see the writers really respect the lore, which results in jokes that aren't funny, but still. You'll get a better idea about the people on the Nexus and Sloane Kelly. Their motivations. But there isn't anything that made me think 'OMG! Everyone should know this!'.

I'd say, only read it if you're a big, big lore fan.

I'm a 100 pages in and I can say I'm enjoying it better than the game so far. Why? Because people act in realistic ways and there is a sense of urgency unlike the casual nature of the game. I think it's great supplemental info on a lot of the npcs we encounter in the game.

What's with the mis-matched eye colors? She isn't the only NPC that has that either. There are a few throughout the game with two different colored eyes. I know that occurs with some real world people, but it is ultra rare.

I feel like the writer of the book was not on the same planet as the person who wrote Sloane in the game. Because Sloane is actually a really good character in the book, and now is suddenly a cackling, ruthless dictator in the game.

I knew a guy with mis-matched eye colours. He was a gigantic prick. Maybe it's a side-effect.

I'm not sure but I think Fangirl Courtney Woods (DA The Descent writer) wrote all of the Kadara subplot in MEA.
