Anyone know why the game goes into "building shades" every time I log on? Why does it build thousands and thousands of shades every time? I would think once would be enough.
Seems to have started with the patch.

It's something that it has to do for many of the lighting effects in the game. Pretty much every modern game has to do this, they just don't tell you.
It was doing it before 1.05 as well, but I don't think anybody knows why they decided to start showing it with the latest patch. I wouldn't be surprised if it was unintentional.
