So this is my second playthrough and I'm at the decision to 'Save the Angara' or 'Destroy the facility'. Now on my first play through it distoryed the facility. Doing this causes the Resistance to be unable to help you from what I've read at the end of the game to fight the Archon. But they did help me, they were there fighting. So this doesn't make any sense.
It seems like the smart thing to do is to destory it. After all nothing is stopping the Kett from capturing more people again then. Sacrifice the few to save the many. Especially when the Resistance immediately gets a big boost in people joining the Resistance after everything happens. Especially when the facility is destroyed.

Especially when the Resistance immediately gets a big boost in people joining the Resistance after everything happens. Especially when the facility is destroyed. That forgets the fact the Kett can just rebuild the facility. Also, the people inside the facility are the Resistance's best soldiers and scientists that Jaal ordered there. The problem with the Moesha's logic is she forgets the Kett have a frigging Empire and it's a BUILDING. Whereas the Resistance are people who are in desperate need of. Besides, the Kett just start killing people instead of kidnapping them once it's destroyed. So I saved the fighters since I believe they can come back and blow it up much easier than I can training an entire new core of fighters. The fact everyone thanks me for saving the fighters also tells me it ws the right choice.

It's like not destroying the Collector base is ME2. Or if we hadn't distoryed the Krogan facility on Virmire in ME1. It just doesn't seem like a good idea to leave the Kett with a strong foot hold on Voield. Especially one that takes the prisoners and turns them into Kett. But you are right too. Is it explained what the Kett did to the people to make them so obedient and not fight the exultation?

Is it explained what the Kett did to the people to make them so obedient and not fight the exultation? Well destroying the Collector Base is actually the wrong decision in a rare, "Renegade Choice is correct" as the War Assets which you seize from Cerberus are immense and can almost let you complete the Crucible from them alone. It certainly FEELS right at the time, though. Destroying the Virmire base also cripples Saren's clone army and leaves him only able to rely on the Geth. Here, it's a strike against the Kett that might impede their efforts at "processing" the Kett but we see later they have other facilities too and that it would have a horrific cost. So I contented myself with shooting the Cardinal and killing as much of the personnell as possible. Re: Brainwashing No, but the Kett aren't a bunch of mind-wiped people either. I think they're just very very good at brainwashing. Maybe with a religious bent. Those people who would resist to their dying day being sent to labor camps.
