Not sure whether to post here or in the MP subforum, but I'll try here first. Sooo I was opening a few Bronze Item Loot Boxes earlier, and things were going fine. Until...  Duplicate of the same gun, of the same rank. I was under the assumption that once we get another of the same gun that it would get upgraded to the next rank. Is this not the case? What should I do with this dupe? Should I hold off on opening the item loot boxes until a certain point? Thanks in advance! |

In multiplayer if you buy the loot boxes and if you get duplicates it will upgrade the item lvl.
Those guns are single player only. And in single player item level is based off your level.
So you being lvl 2 means you will pretty much only get lvl 1 items. you just happened to get 2 of the same thing.

EDIT: Follow-up question, so if I open these boxes at max level, I can get a rank X? What's the highest rank of guns that you can get with the boxes?

I just open all of them as i get them, especially if you have the app. they are not in short supply. |

I just deconstruct any guns I get that I don't want to keep. I have no idea if they would level up if I waited until later but I get so many that I'd hit my 20 limit of unopened loot boxes in a day or two, if I didn't open my loot boxes.
