They talk about what they are doing.
Raeka or Hayjer are studying the Kett and exaltation and hopefully discover weaknesses.
Sarissa or Vederia are studying and mapping out the Scourge to make it less a danger.
Avitus is looking for the unaccounted Turian stasis pods and bringing them back.

Sure why not. they don't need their arc to do their job. they still have some of their people and worst case if they are the lone survivor, they can just drop their pants and start making babies with other races at least if possible and if needed in Meridian xD thats the endgame of the Initiative after all lol (Gil reference). Not Alec's final goal though of course.
