yeah, cuz you know how there are fat people all over the place in starving colonies. maybe we havent found the "lost" colony yet and then we will find where they are all hiding.

I don't think it's common to have different body types. Some games do it and some games actually allow you to have a different body type for your own character, but most I think are cookie cutter. Dragon's Dogma comes to my mind as giving you leeway with your own character design as well as seeing different body types for NPCs in the game.
