New Bioware IP - just imagine...

I can't help but wonder what Bioware could accomplish if they were focusing on 1-2 games at a time instead of 3-4.

The Division with BioWare balancing just sounds like... Well, The Division. Damn, that was a broken game on release. Also, the singleplayer was pretty good.

More I play MEA SP & MP.. more I feel like MEA was the last attempt to cash out on ME franchise.

I think both BW and EA had no intention letting ME go on. They just wanted to sucker punch us one last time for quick cash using nostalgia.



ME was the only EA game I ever played... and I don`t expect anything good from neither BW nor EA anymore.

I liked Destiny.. but Destiny was really hard game to play casual with PuG. I love how casually I can play MEMP but even that might change in the future games.

I still want to try the Division out to see if they can do some decent DMR gameplay.

They fixed destiny up with their second DLC.

It's co-op. So full priced Mass effect mp with a different skin. Pre-order cancelled. After the mea disaster, biower lost all the remaining customer trust that they had. Will never buy.

“I don’t know much more than that… it is a huge scale project, perhaps the biggest BioWare has ever done. It’s bigger than Mass Effect Andromeda, considerably so."

So Bioware basically kicked down one of the most revered IPs in the business to its low-talent C-team, meanwhile dumping all their A-team resources to a semi-MMO Destiny-light. Called Dylan.

Have those Canadians gone regularly mad?

You might wanna check the console initial buy in as to why.

As for myself, the telling point here is that in this little marketing blurb there is no mention of story or thematics or worldspace.

What there are mentions of two grindy mmos designed to appeal to console players and console time constraints. The fact their advertising right out of the gate is "HEY KIDS DO YOU LIKE GRINDING, DO YOU LIKE POKING NINE INCH NAILS UNDER EACH ONE OF YOUR EYELIDS" in every sentence, sometimes twice in the same sentence.

Back when BW was purchased, those like myself in the industry saying 'hey guys, you might wanna brush up your resumes' were considered big fat jerks and typical doomsayers.

And yet here we are. The preeminent 'large' storyteller in western gaming is advertising their new spiffy grindmill specifically to people who can't help but ride the skinner box all the way to its inevitable conclusion, and there isn't a single sentence devoted to story in the advert.
