If it isn't an RPG, it really holds no interest for me. I'm not looking for Bioware's version of Uncharted 4.
(Unless it's 1313, then I might be interested)

Side Note: All they did when talking about SWToR was STORY STORY STORY STORY never mechanics, PvP or end game group content all that game had at release was the 6 class story's. The PvP was so bad that when they attempted to fix Illum, the second time in 4 months, and it still was FUBAR they have never attempted to fix it again.
They know squat about balance at any of the studios, Edmonton, Montreal, nor Austin

The issue with Illum was that their half-assed self-completed Hero Engine which is not compatible with the official Hero Engine and its various updates, craps out as soon as more than 8 people are in any given zone, which is absurd for an MMO. That's why the SP story was given so much focus, and endgame raids limited to 8 people.

I can agree with you that the Warzones where more fun than most MMO's and that they were pretty well balanced at Release...... until they decided to let the three months go by where 50's were also included in the 10-50 bracket.( thus allowing us 50's to stream roll through any warzone that didnt have at least 4 50's on the other team. Getting maxed out gear before they(bioWare) decided to add a 50 bracket) And let us not forget the fiasco that was Warlord boxes and getting the same piece of gear through opening ten boxes

So THATS what BioWare aims for you heard it first here, lads, we're in for a long haul. When did you first start learning English? I think when I was 10, now I'm 27

"According to him, the BioWare Edmonton game is codenamed Dylan, though that may also be its final name." Yes, I've always wanted to play Dylan. Can't wait for Dylan DLCs, Dylan Director's Cut and eventually, can we dream?, Dylan 2. Meh, I think I'll stick with Roy for now

but why would anybody actively want to mimic The Division? There are some little things to learn for Bioware from The Division and the way Ubisoft/Massive handling the game: - ridiculous bullet sponges - nerfing, nerfing, nerfing, nerfing - not fixing bugs - open doors to cheating with no anti-cheat-system - and absolutely no visible dealing with obvious cheaters (which is really smart in a pvp-game) - no content/endgame after 30 hours of gameplay except pvp - complaining the community being too toxic (Whoops, already learned, closing forum ...) - not fixing bugs - dividing the community in pvp vs. pve players (why should they care, no forum...) - endless grind for nothing (at least they are on a good path here...) - providing two DLCs that do not reward the grinding - not fixing bugs - abandoning game after one year - never being able to balance weapons and powers reasonably Oh wait... Seriously: There are a few things that make The Division worth playing, but there is no obvious reason to mimic any aspect of The Division. Better try to "mimic" The Witcher...

Better try to "mimic" The Witcher... They already tried this and you can play MEA Campaign and see how well it turned out. Here's what they said in an interview with a gaming magazine before the game was launched: “We are approaching the completionist aspect very differently, because we've done and learned a lot from Inquisition. But we've also observed what other games have been doing, like The Witcher. And it was very important for us that the quantity of scope doesn't downgrade the quality of whatever you are doing there.” (Fabrice Condominas)

The only other MMO I really played was the obvious one and I got bored with that much quicker (played only around WoD.) I don't know why they thought doing ME style story shit was a good idea though.

Hmm, so Ryder is the last name of the protagonist in Mass Effect Andromeda, and Dylan is the the name of the new game. Wait, wait, don't tell me I think I got this one. The protagonist of Dylan is going to be named Dylan Ryder. That's it. Well now we know what industry Bioware really gets it inspiration from. Before you mention Sara Ryder's face you should learn what time amateur hour is.

Can't speak for Destiny but I've had 500 hrs or so in The Division, that game had its moments, personally I think the survival DLC is excellent and the PvP part can be occasionally fun, but I highly doubt BioWare would learn anything from these aspects. Instead, I guess those are what they will probably "learn" from The Division: 1. Big, open maps rendered in shiny graphics but without any meaningful interactions, except for tons of pick up icons (They've already been doing this since DAI and later MEA, about time to refine it with the definitive Ubi style;); 2. Endless grinding with terrible RNG (You don't even possibly have a "maxed" manifest in The Division so no more maxed manifest problems;); 3. Heinous server connectivity that kicks you out right during combat (Yeah we've had this standard "feature" since ME3MP, but why not customize the experience with randomized disconnection codes? Will be happy if time proves me wrong, though. We'll see.

By calling MEA Andromeda rather than Mass Effect 4, I actually expected MEA to be the Destiny Clone that the new IP apparently is going to be. Though it wouldn't surprise me if the "new IP" is simply a different approach to Mass Effect, an approach that would have pissed off SP forums were it not referred to as a "new IP".
