Ok I have been killed by the console key for the umpteenth time. I reach for 1, accidently hit `, then start furiously typing 1,2&3 into the console.
Pretty soon I am dead. Grrrrrrrrrrrr! No More![/Rant]
So is it possible to disable or rekey the console button? I doubt I will ever use it.
I cannot seem to do it from options, maybe there is a .ini file somewhere I have not found?

What make keyboard? Some are programmable.
Past history on BioWare games like ME, you'd have to enable the Tilde key to open the console by editing a file (but that was a different game engine). Possibly changed when they switched to the Frostbite engine?. So maybe it's possible to reverse this. But I don't know what file to point you at.

Honestly, I popped my tilde key off the board the first time that happened because I knew it would happen often. Stuck it in my desk drawer. I'll snap it back on when I'm finished w/ MEA one day.

If your keyboard has a gaming "mode", it will allow you to disable certain keys when you engage gaming mode. Razer does this, probably common but I don't know.

Ok! thanks for the ideas guys.
My solution for the moment is to rekey the power buttons from 123 to 234.
Works so far. Plus I find it far easier reaching for the 4 then the 1 key. Whatever was on 4 I don't use anyway.

Not having that problem on console, but I have been killed when trying to charge a target in the complete open flatlands of EOS and getting 'Target is obstructed'. Last night I got it when 3 wraiths were occupying the same space...(and short time later, 2 Jaal's became conjoined twins, making 'Armor Diplomacy' even creepier...)
