In MEs 2 and 3 you could equip Shepard with different visors. Sure they gave different stat boosts but they just looked really cool visually and helped us give our respective Shepards a more individual flare as well as a nice compromise if you wanted cool headgear but didn't want to cover everything with a helmet. Maybe it's a rule that our turian squadmates get to have visors a game before we do.

Didn't mind the option, but I saw them making characters fugly as it could get, I don't see the appeal.

I personally miss the Kuwashii Visor. I wore it all the time just because I loved the look of it.
The helmets aren't bad, but I would have liked some headgear that doesn't completely cover Ryder's face.

Ha! I read this as volus and I was all like "Hell yeah!!"
I did like visors because they gave bonuses, and yet were midway between helmets and no helmets. Made me feel legit, but could still see muh face!

I don't miss them much. I thought they fit the trilogy pretty well, though, but I don't see them being completely necessary in MEA. Maybe one day when there's cities and shit.

I wasn't a huge fan of them but I didn't hate them either. Anything that adds to character customization options is good in my book though.

To be honest helmets are more realistic in the setting. Shame there's precious few helmets in the game. I just wish they'd get rid of the breather masks for certain companions, as stated above, and give them proper helmets.
Though considering Peebee's walking around in a jacket, skin exposed to the elements, perhaps I should be thankful they remembered the masks.
