Does anyone remember one of the first looks at the game where they had the sandstorms on one of the desert planets? What happened to that? I assume it was supposed to be EOS, because they tell you that you need to use the Nomad because the winds made it impossible to fly a shuttle around. But then you see Peebee and Kett flying around in shuttles, so who knows.

It was most likely buggy as all hell and probably didn't playtest well because I imagine it wouldn't actually affect anything but the player's vision and fuck them up during combat.

I'm glad this thing never made it into the game. As a rover design, there are elements that I like, though its rear wheel is pretty incongruous to the rest of its design. I think that the Nomad is a great looking vehicle that deserves to be the final product. |

Fighting in a sandstorm with spotty visual contact sounds kinda awesome to me. Man I long for the time when use of powers will actually affect the enviroment, as in an AOE attack will actually clear the air momentarily. |

Nah, personally I find the whole thing looks like an uglified lovechild of the Mako and Firewalker, and the rear wheels are atrocious and don't look at all practical for an all terrain vehicle. I agree about the Nomad though, I don't think there's anything I dislike about its looks. |

Apparently Alliance Military engineers did not think that way when they were rearranging interior of confiscated Normandy SR-2 between ME2 and ME3 events. |

Yeah, I don't know what kind of Cayenne you've ever seen, but the Nomad's emphasis on its large wheels and exposed chassis makes it more like a space-y dune buggy. It'd be closer to a Merc 6x6 before Cayenne. |

I'm glad this thing never made it into the game. I think it's a vehicle on Elaadin actually. It's just permanently parked. I really wish some of the land vehicles drove around the planets just as moving scenery |
