No it isn't. It would give them more time to work on conversations they do consider important. but that's not what you said... It's whats inferred by "Quality not quantity"!

Now i do feel like I'm playing a different game. I'd say it's more sixty-forty in favor of cinematic conversations. It really depends on which quests you're doing. Some people could easily skip contagion or the murdered Angaran village thinking it was a simple scan quest again. Because 90% of those quests is scanning followed by the good stuff at the end. They may not meet Reyes after scanning 7 different items in 1 building investigating the murdered Krogan. Thats just one road on Kadara. Its really easy to miss the cinematic stuff. Hidden missions on Voeld and Havarl. Really its design oversight, if they were in the main quest log people wouldn't miss them and actually have a clue that theyre important. Even Aya has a lot of cinematic content, not that anyone told you it was there. Or where to look.

BioWare writing "1200 NPCs speaking; more than ME3, basically ME2 + ME3 combined" "My face is tired. What happened to.... [PATHFINDER]?" "Where is the Pathfinder?" "You're looking at him." "Back up. Literally!"

They totally missed the opportunity to add a "no no, I'm fine with her staying there" option.
