LylliaaI have two folders for mods. One is just the storage chamber. Some mods have: Option A, Option B, Option C. So, in this Folder remains all options, even though you have to pick only one. Some mods only have one. But you get the idea. Then I copy from my "Storage" to the "Override" folder. The overrride folder is what the game talks to. So, I copy "Option B" all by itself to that folder; leaving all options in my storage folder in case I change my mind. If I moved instead of copied, I'd have to remember to move it back later, and I thought this would save me the mistake of not remembering-> accidentally deleting->and then having to find the mod and re download it again from the Nexus. In the end, it seems I did not do my due diligence. I didn't have all the mods in my storage folder. I got a little confused about what mod was doing what in the override, so I dumped it figuring I was safe since all the mods were in my storage folder. So, I copy paste, make my adjustments, then realize some things are definitely missing. like the "natural hairs" mod that gave my original Reagan that shade of brown. But even after I re downloaded from the Nexus the natural hairs mod, it didn't fix my Reagan. It was still "lack of color" white hair, not even any stranding lines, with eyebrows to match. I'm new to the world of mods, and I'd already messed with it for an hour ish and still didn't know exactly what the problem was. So, I made a new Hawke. In conclusion, I probably just have too many mods on board (last time I counted was 25, it's probably around 30 now) and not enough experience with them to troubleshoot. And if you don't know mods, probably all of that was too much information. IeldraOld Reagan, left screen, is wearing the Classico Antiva Mod. The new version, right, is wearing the Orlesian Night Armor mod. I especially like the latter, as you can wear it in the prologue. The Classico Antiva Mod also had serious problems with shine in my game. Huh. I hadn't noticed that it made her look like Flemeth. In the end, Flemeth and even Isabella are showing way less skin up top than this mod delivers.

Stupid question but do you use the CharGenMorph Compiler? Only explanation I can come up with is that the mod is clashing with one (or several other) mod(s) which is why it doesn't appear properly. To stay on subject, here's another pic of Tamara!

Stupid question but do you use the CharGenMorph Compiler? Only explanation I can come up with is that the mod is clashing with one (or several other) mod(s) which is why it doesn't appear properly. Yep, definitely using the CharGenMorph compiler. Maybe it missed something? I've started up the Hawke CC creator a lot of times over this Mod Journey, and sometimes it seems like I have 30 new hairstyles, and in other only 10 extra styles. 30 extra shades of hair vs 10 extra shades of color hair. So, I'm feeling a bit suspicious of the Compiler OR what you said, some mods are clashing. (I'm thinking of some now, two mods that have extra hair shapes and two mods with extra colors. I just thought they'd + together to make 40 new hair styles, but perhaps the compiler just deleted the 30 new styles mod and kept the 10 new styles mod.) At this point, I just want to play and not mess with mods unless they are specifically bothering me or I know directly what the problem is. Like, fixing Fenris' jacket would be an easy one. If I mess with the mods regarding hair NOW, I may end up making yet a third Reagan Hawke. BAH humbug on that idea.

Mods can be very finicky after all! As long as it doesn't keep you from playing and you're happy with it, everything's good! If you decide to tackle the problem on, I wish you luck! ^-^ And if you do so, feel free to keep me updated; I'll try my best to help you out! ^-^

Found some old pictures of Aurora, so just for fun, Aurora in all her modded glory. Her look for all the acts. The tattoo colors marked her disposition. All diplomatic and sweet when she arrived in Kirkwall. Sarcastic and humorous once she finally started living as she felt she deserved. Near the end she lost her good mood and was generally angry and aggressive. Only found a big picture of her act 2 look. Can't track down the color mod to take bigger pictures of the other acts, but anyways. Bigger close up of Act 2 get-up.

I don't make tattooed Hawkes anymore because Inquisition doesn't seem to have carried the shapes forward. I guess I care too much about the Hawke engine transition. Are they really tattoos f you can erase them and get new ones?

I don't make tattooed Hawkes anymore because Inquisition doesn't seem to have carried the shapes forward. I guess I care too much about the Hawke engine transition. Are they really tattoos f you can erase them and get new ones? I just refer to them as tattoos since the slider was called that. But then there are types of temporary tattoos, like Henna and the ones you get with bubble gum. Maybe Ferelden has a less permanent tattooing technique or the mages are able to do some sort of laser surgery. Cut off the skin and grow new layers, or force the color out of the skin. But for Auro I head canon that those were just painted on. She would definitely be willing to spend a few minutes each day to paint her mood on her face, so everyone could see how she was feeling and approach her accordingly. So when DAI came around, she just painted something new on her face. Or didn't, since I have her in several world states.

Reinhardt Hawke, two-handed warrior (reaver/berserker). (My first warrior in DA2) (I promised to myself, I give a chance to Bethany to prove, she's not that boring good girl, and I will try the Circle mage version... poor Bethany! And I try to use blue answers with Anders at Act1.)

It's would be a real challenge with pro-mage. I'm not at the end of Act 1, and Bethany on 95% friendship. Very easy to make her happy with a good character. She is not as Carver But have some sense of humour. Not the best, but not that bad. Warden Bethany –as I remember– only grumpy, but not too interesting. But as I wrote, I played a long time ago, and she was rarely in my team. People mostly loves her, because she is lovely. This is true, but... UPDATED:
They say if she become Circle Mage, she change to the end, and will be more confident. And she is the one, who understand Justice, trapped inside a body, stuck in outside of Fade! I think I like her.

Bethany: It must have been hard for him, being trapped outside the Fade. In a place where no one's like him. Bethany: I bet he appreciated having a friend. Anders: He did.

Justice isn't merged so complete or he wouldn't show up in the fade for Night Terrors.

My latest Champion of Kirkwall, Maric Hawke. Yes, he was named after the late king. He is a snarky dual-wielding rogue who is just trying to survive and protect his family. He cares about his family more than anything else, so he's in for a rough 7 years in Kirkwall. By the end of his journey, he will be much more jaded and aggressive in his personality. Strongly pro-mage but also anti-blood magic. He has no tolerance for it, since he knows you can be a strong mage without resorting to blood sacrifices or mind domination. He will rivalmance Merrill. He will also be rivals with Anders but friends with everyone else. Bethany will join the Circle. Will duel the Arishok to the death to save Isabela. Will protect the mages in the end, after exiling Anders.

I'm playing two new Hawkes right now - a rogue named Alighiera (and of course her dog is called Dante ) and a mage named Lyra here is Alighiera - she ended up with Isabella btw, completely by accident, but it's a funny li: And the next two are of Lyra (she ended up with Fenris) I recognised only after playing with both for a while, that they do look similar - apart from hair-, eye- and skincolor. That was completely by accident, but since I like both, they stay that way.

Prefer customized Hawke, because despite that the default m!Hawke is nice, but at the start seems a bit old for a ~25-year-old man (he rather ~35-40, as I see). Default fem!Hawke is good looking enough.
