So, not sure if I was seeing this right yesterday or not. I was messing around with Pull + Melee on the HAdept, and punching Outlaws off cliffs, and I noticed multiple times that the XP notification was only 55XP. The first couple of times, I assumed it was because someone else had damaged it, so intentionally did it to a couple of Raiders far away from anyone else, still saw 55XP.
I mean, in the big scope, it's not a ton of XP loss if that is what's happening, but it's just weird that they give you tools to murder things like this, and then halve the xp for it. Unless I just didn't see it correctly or something. I suppose it's possible that an enemy I had previously dropped singularity on or pulled got killed around the same time, and that's what I was seeing. (Yeah, not it, this is Kill score, not an Assist score). But figured I'd ask.

I had not noticed this. When I play later, I can test.

Try dropping a Nova on an enemy from a floor up, if you can catch them in certain animations or ragdolled, you'll trampoline them to the next planet over. If I'm on the roof of Sandstorm, I have to try it every time just in case it works.

Also, Kill Feed shows Pull as the killing power.

If you melee while you're holding them, it sends them flying a little ways! Also, there at the end your kill score pops up, and it's only 15 (and the feed shows [Pull] Wraith for the kill. That would be less than 10 percent of the normal kill experience, since the dogs are usually worth 165 I think. I wonder if it's because almost no damage was done, just a power used on it?

OK. Yeah, it's almost like you get an assist but gravity gets the kill (but gravity doesn't get credit in the feed).

In related news, getting a gold kills badge gives you a higher score than two silver kills badges.
(But if you are trying to open packs maybe your score is not your highest priority.)
