Y'know, I really don't think there even is a 'best way'/good way...

Everytime I go into the store I buy a variable quantity of Basic Packs.  I used to buy a specific number, like 5 (10k credits worth) just to make sure I don't ever find myself in a match having run the through all my revives.  Lately  I've developed a little game that determines how many I buy; I spend 2k credits at a time until I get some kind of elemental ammo.  I arbitrarily imposed a rule that if I get one in my very first Basic Pack, that one doesn't count -- although it rarely occurs.  My vague, 100% non-scientific impression is that I average some form of elemental ammo at about the rate I did when I was spending 10k on each visit -- which is to say once every 4-5 packs.

That's pretty discouraging -- especially if you're looking for one kind (1 of 3 drops should be disruptor).

So, again, there is no best way/good way.  It's pretty low on my list of complaints as far as MEAMP goes, but I wouldn't argue with a big nerf to ammo drops.

... somewhat higher on my list of desired changes, however, is a bigger supply pack like the good ol' 33k version from ME3. Spending 2k at a time is dreary, especially with the retarded button pressing to reveal cards.

While we're on the subject on ammo, is there any consensus on what the "best" ammo type is? I've barely used them, tbh. Is Cryo Ammo still crap, compared to the others?

Same here,and it seems to be the ammo I use the most.

Since when is armor debuffs and freezing enemies crap?
