I've completed the game once having to use the internet to find all the model ships, but nowhere have I seen mentioned the Mech model sitting on the table right next to the hamster cage. I have no idea how/when I got it, so I'm wondering what the heck I did to get it so I don't feel like I'll miss it on repeat playthroughs.

I'm miffed that the picked up ships don't carry forward in NG+ like the purchased ships do; hopefully a patch can fix that. And the quest items messing with movie night...

Seems it's a model of one of those mechs you fight in the game i guess.

I thought the Tempest model appears after Movie Night. It wasn't there until I completed that in my playthrough.

Ah I meant the 'real' Tempest the spaceship. Not the Tempest model.

I remember running around there for an hour trying to find the collectible ship. I didn't know that you had to buy the Nexus model first before the Hyperion model would appear.
