I know it sounds like a trivial thing. But some things just rub us the wrong way more than others. And for some reason, his voice irritates me more than anything else about this game. I can't explain why. Every time I hear it, it reminds me of everything that is wrong with the game. Its like they hired one of their own computer programmers to play the voice of the news announcer, rather than a legitimate talk-radio voice. When I hear it, I hear "cheap," "cutting corners." Add to that his laxidasical and flippant attitude---like he didn't even care about what he was reading---just pours salt on the wound.
lol. And I'm not one to complain about much. But I needed to vent about this (oh, and the lack of variety in the enemies. But that's for another time).

I'm not sure, but it sounds like David Hayter voicing that guy to me.
I never had a problem with him, personally. He was always background noise.

I like that news guy in person but the news voice irritates me too.  I think any voice that does vocal fry, bugs me and a lot of Salarians do that although there is one human female on the Nexus that does it a lot too. |

If there was something that bugged me, it's that we don't have a return of the random minor quest that might pop up from overhearing one of the HNS reports. In ME1, there was one about the missing survey team, and the news you overhear is one of a few ways you can learn of this mission. I really enjoyed stuff like that.

Didn't he say he was just some journalist before coming to Andromeda? Was probably just some dorky writer for space Kotaku who became a TV personality because he was the only remotely fitting candidate or something. :S |

What bothers me more is the lack of subtitles, and the constant interrupting, so you're hearing the news and then someone says "HI PATHFINDER!" and it cuts off.
