Which is bloody meant to be that way?????????????????? The whole bloody purpose of Berserkers to flush you out of cover. I mean, hello? You could have played 5k hours on Platinum for all I care if you don't understand the purpose of various units and that some like Berserkers, Adhis, Breachers and similar shit exist to pull you out of your safety, because otherwise you'd be fucking invincible in cover, which is not how its meant to be. my god you still haven't read my post. you should do this before you reply. at first I wasn't saying it is too difficult and secondly I wasn't saying that it affects me - because I am constantly running anyway. And now you are missing I said "of course I understand what Bioware is trying to do with these types of enemies - but that they overdid it"Like I mentioned: ME3 later had Dragoons and Bombers for this very reason and it was ok. But Andromeda is not as well balanced. You say I don't understand the purpose of units but instead you should start reading before replying! let me quote you: "hello" ??? This is your reply to me: "ah I understand. so once I've learned that the Berserkers etc. can't shoot over cover anymore?
It's not supposed to be a walk in the park, you know. If it's too difficult you may want to try Bronze or Silver.
Do I really want to react to this? Ok, I have played more than 2500 hours on gold or platinum. but probably you are right, I should go to bronze then.
Aside from the fact that I wasn't even saying it's too difficult. Because it's not. I was just trying to say that I know people who expected cover to actually do something and therefore have less fun playing Andromeda when they are constantly being shot at, no matter where they go. I am running around anyway."
Where it writes what you stated? Just first sentence makes anyone see you don't get it if you complain about Berserkers doing what they bloody are supposed to do. Second part is no less ridiculous, where you imply that cover does nothing... kk mate. Cut the BS.

I get shot from insanely sharp angles when I'm in cover. If an enemy is not directly in front of your cover, they'll shoot you while you in it 90% of the time.

Because your freakin body's hit box is exposed at an angle. jesus tapdancing christ how much hand holding do you need? Just touching a wall while somebody is shooting at you doesn't magically make you disappear. You can shoot THEM in cover at an angle too!

*sigh* this game doesn't punish you for using cover. it punishes you for camping one spot for too long. next time, try fighting from behind cover and then repositioning to a different spot when you get overwhelmed. don't just stand your ground, get killed, then immediately alt tab to the BSN forums to complain about it. the game's got issues, but this is not one of them. Lol. This game punishes you for using cover because simply constanly moving and dodging is almost always better like all the time always ever. Got it? Going into cover gives you very small advantage of boosting shield/health recharge rate, but other than that simply moving out of enemy line of fire and using skill are way safer than going into cover. Also going into cover restricts your movement including melee and camera view. Wonder how long you stay in cover mode during 15 minutes of game play. Mine is probably under 20 seconds.

you must be really mean people and where did I say its too difficult?? I am talking about that it's annoying and less fun to play - especially for those who like to use cover. There are just too many enemies who ignore cover - Bioware just overdid it here. if the two krogans spawned in different places instead of chargin about together & if the stupid frag launcher ability didn't stagger the crap out of you then it wouldn't be so bad

I have heard that Krogans struggle to hide behind low cover as enemies still hit their humps. Havent tested it myself. Can happen if your hump is showing.

I wish there was more tall cover. Low cover make me feel less safe. How am I supposed to pewpew fight space monsters with so few doorways?

How am I supposed to pewpew fight space monsters with so few doorways? what we need is a good counter top in a room with only one doorway behind which to hide and from there randomly reach up and throttle unsuspecting mooks while some annoying bastard makes the whole world shake with swirly patterns and skipping manouvers

I think I agree with the premise of this thread. Some enemies like suicide Breachers make no sound and get a free stagger and knock off most or all of your shields, and there's often nothing you could have done to prevent it. At least Husks and Bombers in ME3 had to set up their anti-cover attack/grab, right?
It is annoying, and I think it's fair to say some enemies do things to artificially add difficulty. But I think it also has to be said MEA is a little easier overall for the health/shield values we're given. Geth Primes threading a needle to snipe you was pretty cheap too. Not that I think suicide Breachers aren't bullshit, but I think it's a smaller deal than many other current issues. Hell, if cooldowns were faster, powers were stronger, and combos were good, that might remedy the cheapness a lot by proxy.
I find the enemies to be very well done overall and worlds better than a game like Warframe, where you have no shield/health gates, hearing threats is almost non-existent, and most enemies are either trash fodder or kill you without warning.

I feel that the game pace overall is too fast for me to handle. I'll play because why not, but, yeah, I cannot keep up with the folks who do movement better. There is really no time to look for cover, heh.

Wait. Why does Andromeda hate me? I thought we were good friends.
