There are enough shoddy production issues in MEA for me to easily believe that their management does not know how to do anything useful.
I can appreciate deadlines - they sort of go with paychecks - but deadlines by themselves are not even a small fraction of what you need to make something worthwhile.
(But, hey, there's no law against being stupid. Or ... something.)
And I have hope that the Bioware people stuck with carrying this thing will be able to fix some of the worst problems (and there are obviously plenty of those that need fixing).
Still... I kind of hope that the ex-Bioware people manage to hook up with some other people with good in-depth understanding of rendering (and not so over-encumbered by bad contracts that they can't deliver), and that they can keep doing what they do best. I would like to see some of what they make.
