Could a Krogan pull it off seeing as Spectres are modeled after the Salarian STG? The former's combat tactics are very different from what is learned on TUCHANKA.

I don't really see why they couldn't. There are a variety of roles Spectres serve and krogan can learn to operate in ways outside of the traditional.

Andromeda trivialized just how dangerous Krogan can really be.
They peacefully left the Nexus instead of violently taking it over after that punk AZZ human used them.
The Krogan fistfight on New Tuchanka was worse than the no contact sparring sessions that some traditional martial artists dorks do.

I am thinking further down the road decades or even centuries post ME 3 and that is with a Krogan that were led by Wrex and Bakura and they have proven they can behave post Reaper war. |

The krogan can to Andromeda for a new start like everyone else. the last thing they want to do is go back to there old ways. |

Krogan could be spectre but it would require a lot of work before that actually happens, but that is certainly not impossible.
