Maybe I'll get the Human "Cover your brains" Kineticist to X before I get any UR mods, hell maybe I'll get most of the UR characters to X before I get UR mods or lvl 10 bonus stats.

Hey, if they combine stats like Barrel and Stock into one mod, I'd be all for it. Why would you need a stock with practically none of the weapons have recoil and the ones that do are easily manageable? Compared to ME3 at least... Not need, want - more mods into one mod saves space.

Two words summarize my thoughts on this:

I was just thinking about this the other day. In ME3MP, the barrel mods were uncommon, and the heavy barrel mods were one step up at rare. In MEAMP, the barrels are already rare, so if - not saying they will, but if - they introduce heavy barrel mods, they'd likely be URs. It won't make sense to have them also at rare, unless there's some other drawback, like significantly increased weapon weight and/or reduced bonus damage and/or reduced penetration distance. On the flip side, even with a crapton more URs at start, MEAMP seems to have a much higher UR drop rate than ME3MP, so having more doesn't necessarily mean it'll take longer to max manifest. Didn't someone on uBSN or reddit calculate that it's somewhere in the 500-something hour range to max the current manifest?

I'd be wary of calculations of hours to max manifest at this point, simply because we have only very early guesses at actual drop rates based on still relatively small sample sizes. I'm not saying it's not fun (or monumentally depressing) to speculate -- but I would be careful not to invest the answer with too much value (unless some data-miner has figured it out while I wasn't paying attention...which is totally possible).

Just curious. Why do you like the Reegar? I don't know about her but I like the Reegar because it's the only weapon that can stand up to all the Funnel Webs and Redbacks

It's just the rarity filter thing. I'm not implying that it won't happen but that it's unlikely to happen, at least not until after they release more useless UR weapons/characters. We'll probably see more UR character and gun cards, but I think the only thing that can prevent UR weapon mods from dropping eventually is the whole game tanking and BW ending support prematurely. There are a ton of useless mods in SP (tactical scope, heavy barrel, light stock, whatever) that give minute improvements over "standard" versions, in exchange for some penalty, so they'll probably show up at some point. None of them are UR though, but considering that standard barrels are rare and HVBs aren't in the game yet... edit: hmm, basically crashsuit said this already. Oh well.
