I've completed the Vetra loyalty mission and side quests on H-047c. However, I have not found a way off the planet so I could continue playing. Every time I stop by a forwarding station and try to leave the Nomad, I get the message to I should stay put because the radiation levels would kill me. I have even tried driving up the ramp on the Tempest but get nowhere. If I select the Tempest on the map, nothing happens like if I was selecting a forwarding station (fast travel).
None of the orange domes have anything to do with getting back to the Tempest, although one allows me to change my load-outs.
I've been to every corner of the map even to where the out-of-bounds marker fills the screen but haven't discovered anything. Am I missing something?
This has really got me scratching my head.

Press Y, Triangle or "T", depending upon your platform, to extract to Tempest from the Nomad.

Just enter the nomad, press the triangle (ps4) or y (xbox one).

Well, who wooda thought? Worked great! Where was that instruction found? Thanks a lot!!! This is the best thing about this planet. By the time you get off it you know about fast traveling directly to the tempest. Same happened to me. Just too bad it's so late in the game.

It's a wonder that for all their tutorials and the incessant 'press alt to look' that you can't even disable, they still fail to explain such a basic mechanic.

By the time I reached this stage of the game, I had already gone back to the Tempest by accident numerous times.
Cause my mind works like this: In the nomad --> triangle Ouf the nomad --> triangle,

I also didn't know how to exit that planet lol. Luckily, I was talking with some friends over Discord that evening so they kindly told me to press T. I do remember thinking why they left the fast extraction button out of the game but it turned out that I simply didn't know there was one

I do know how to do that. But my completionist playthrough allows for: - No leaving planets except from the Tempest bay/ramp directly.
- No fast travel via Forward Stations.
- No skipping of planetary transitions.
Good times.

Simply drive the nomad fast enough to achieve exit velocity.

I was like... how the hell do I get into The Tempest with the nomad... Drove me mad and then I googled it and the easy answer was hold T down. Works on every planet too so would have been great to know this early on

Same here. I was 80+ hours into the game. I decided to check the controls layout in the menu. That's when I realized that there's a 'T' button.... .... and that I can turn the Nomad headlights on\off.

Good times. This is dedication. When I use the "Nomad extraction" feature, I assume Tempest is coming to do a pick-up. That's enough immersion for me. I like driving around, but sometimes I find that I'm just ready to leave.

That's one of the reasons I always go through the configuration/key bindings menu before starting a game, to ensure I know what key does what.

Jump nomad into cliff, and enjoy screams from the back seat! Ah, the number of times I heard that. "Hey guys, I can jump this chasm, honest!" "AAARGH! NOOOOO!" I like to think that thanks to the low gravity the Nomad didn't get smashed and the Tempest keeps having to take off, pass it a line, and haul it back up, rather badly shaken, only for them to curse me for trying to kill them as I try again. Nearly made it one time too, landed in a small chasm only to eventually slide back into the main one.

I accidently found out to hold triangle early in the game, it also works if you want to leave the galaxy map when in the tempest. Although it would have been nice to have that in the tutorial. They also didn't say to push square (ps4) or x (xbone) to switch wepons. Since I did play the trilogy, I figured it was, but for those that haven't, it would be something nice to know.

Simply drive the nomad fast enough to achieve exit velocity. LMAO When you first get on planet you get warned that if you go too fast you could achieve orbit. Well that sounded like a dare to me so I spent a good hour trying like hell to go really fast and hitting a ramp like outcrop. NO luck, I was so disappointed
