Personally i'd love to have a Drell squadmate again.

I also think it would be super cool to discover some Prothean refugees on an ancient Ark of their own. Perhaps 50,000 years ago they were attempting to flee to Andromeda to avoid extinction. Their ship could even be seen getting attacked by Reaper forces right before they make a jump to FTL. That final blast could cripple their ship's auto-wake-up function and kill the pilots, leaving the rest of the crew stuck in cryo unaware. But that's just me fantasizing. What are your hopes for up-coming DLC?

Definitely Drell, easily my favorite species in ME universe. I'm also a little bit bored with the usual suspects and wish there had been a Drell and a batarian squadmate in MEA... I don't know who I'd replace though because I do like all the MEA squad.

Even if the tin shuttle they forced their slave labour force to cobble together can make the trip, it'll probably take few thousand years longer and house only the floating corpses of those stupid enough to step aboard by the time it arrives.

I love Thane, but I would love to play in close cooperation with a Male Quarian (I do love Tali, but I'd love to romance a mysterious male like that), and I would LOVE to see the "I come with Lore" Batarian squadmate or close associate. Particulary if they give the Batarian a gravelly voice w/o British accent. Just someone really interesting from the rogue world. Zaeed was extremely awesome, but if he were Batarian... with Batarian lore... or even a more complicated story, the sort that they tried with Dorian and Iron Bull in terms of love-hate relationship with one's own heritage/people... would not mind a less sugary take on it, like with IB who betrays you. Not that I want my Batarian to betray me... oh, no!

Okay. TL:DR: Male QUarian, and a Batarian.

Ditch the current movement scheme its so clunky and dated. Played Destiny for two years and they have a simple move system which works really well. If the the third person perspective is needed for squad tactics rap it into the tech with a shoulder mounted mini drone which give an eye in the sky viewpoint.

I voted batarian. I feel like the entire species got shafted in the original trilogy. They were all but discarded in ME3. It'd be nice to see some batarians that aren't terrorists and/or jerks.

We know that the Quarian ark is supposed to have Drell, Hanar, Elcor and Volus on board, so at the least those five will appear. Personally an Elcor companion sounds pretty bad@ss. I mean they're slow as hell but are basically living weapon platforms, able to carry heavy armament suited for tanks on their backs. Also, and this is just a thought, but depending on when the Quarian Ark left the new DLC could be a way to tie in at least part of ME3 to Andromeda. If they left after the initial reaper conquest of the Batarians and Earth it could lead to the true reasons for the Initiative becoming public knowledge and if they left after the Rannoch missions, the the Geth could also be aboard.
