Version 2.0 has been released! The update brings new changes and additions to Kaidan's dialogue, the implementation of certain dialogue and features for same-sex romances with Ashley and Kaidan, as well as minor bug fixes. Changes:- Reworked the dialogue wheel options leading up to the flirt that initiates Kaidan's romance.
- Added two Renegade options for MaleShep during Kaidan's romance.
- FemSheps romancing Ashley and MaleSheps romancing Kaidan can now dance with them at Flux.
- Ashley and Kaidan's ambient flirts on the Citadel dock now depend on an active romance, rather than Shepard's gender.
- Fixed instances of Ashley referring to FemShep as "sir" in the post-Eden Prime conversation and the Virmire debrief.
- Kaidan will now only express an attraction to Liara if he is not being romanced.

As long as you were prompted to merge the Maps folders and replace files, the old version of the mod should have been completely overwritten by the new version. Did you install the downloaded Maps folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect\BioGame\CookedPC? Also, could you explain what happens with the window scene? I didn't edit the file that includes the scene (I'm assuming it's the scenic view scene with Ashley and Kaidan in the Wards), so I don't know what would cause any issues with it. |

And I think that should be it for new features, I hope you enjoyed the mod again! Just finished my PT and the mod seemed to work just fine! No problems with the romance scene. No use of "Sir" for femshep in the dialog. Aside from the dancing, were there any other tweaks you wanted me to watch out for? I'll be starting a ME2 PT with same FemShep today. I assume nothing new in ME2 given that Ashley/Kaiden get nothing but a cameo. With the first version of your, Ash's pic shows up in FemShep's cabin which is the only sign of the past romance. How soon will the ME3 mod be ready to test? |

The ME3 mod might actually be ready to be tested on a full playthrough soon, so I'll let you know when it is. The ME2 mod probably won't be done for a long time though, unfortunately. The lack of conditional editing definitely makes things difficult, and it would require a lot of testing and I'm more focused on other things right now. Currently, I'm looking into some compatibility issues with the ME1 mod, but once that's sorted out, I'm hoping to release a new update that will allow the same-sex love interest to approach the beacon on Eden Prime (and appear in the subsequent Normandy scene). And thank you for the kind words and support! I'm glad you like the mod. |

Hi everyone, I created a mod for ME1 that allows Ashley and Kaidan to be romanced by both male and female Shepard, utilizing the unused dialogue in the game files. Features- Fully-voiced dialogue: Through the restoration of unused dialogue, every line is voiced and animated properly.
- Anti-flirting: In the vanilla game, simply talking to Ashley or Kaidan would initiate a romance. The mod changes this so the player will have to consciously flirt with Ashley or Kaidan in order for a romance to begin, allowing them to avoid a romance while also not missing out on conversations.
- No misgendering: Ashley and Kaidan will not refer to Shepard as the wrong gender, and neither will any other character.
- Functional romance scenes: The previous method of making the romances available resulted in major immersion-breaking glitches during the romance scenes. With this mod, Shepard will appear properly during the scene.
DownloadNot sure why you need a MEUITM version of your mod, but MEUITM creator is going to make a new version of his mod (not sure when it will be ready he didn't say) I saw that yesterday in the comment section of MODDB because I wanted to start my pt with your mod & the game didn't want to launch from Origin. I realised it was because to MEUITM & was going to check the MEUITM page to find out why because I was using same install of the game (never unistalled it) when I found out about his new project using a new mod tool:MEM. So does this mean you'll need to do a new version of your mod ?? :x Damn, now i want to wait again before starting with your mod to try this new MEUITM version (hopefully it will be ready soon, he didn't say when it will XD) nb: For those who play ME1 with MEUITM & the game don't want to launch, you need to run Origin in administrator, must be because of an Origin update because I never had to do this before. |

Version 3.0 has been released! This update includes new features, more changes and additions to Kaidan's dialogue, and general bug fixes. Changes:
- Shepard can now flirt with Ashley and Kaidan at the same time.
- Kaidan's jealousy conversation can now occur during his second post-mission conversation with MaleShep.
- MaleShep can now end the romance with Kaidan during the jealousy conversation.
- Fixed an oversight that prevented the Paramour achievement from being earned when romancing Kaidan as MaleShep.
- Reduced clipping in the romance scene between Kaidan and MaleShep.
- Removed MEUITM-compatible version, which is now obsolete in light of MEM.
- Added optional file that allows the same-sex love interest to activate the beacon on Eden Prime.
- Added optional file that allows certain NPCs to flirt with both male and female Shepard.
I'm really happy about this update since I was able to fix some of the mod's longstanding issues and limitations. The beacon scene (and subsequent scenes) always having the opposite-sex LI was one of them, as well as not being able to romance Ashley and Kaidan at the same time (which took a lot of editing and playtesting to get working right). I've also been working on it since July, so it feels good to finally be able to release it. |

Ha nice, it's so much better this way  Now waiting for the MEM version of MEUITM & I'm back to ME1 I'm playing ME1 already. Kaidan approached the beacon and my male Shep rescued him. No romance just yet (still on Citadel, haven't done anything but implicate Saren, become a Spectre and do random side quests) but it's coming. Did meet Conrad but I have to assume it's the second meeting where he'll flirt with me. |

Congrat's on the release! Thanks, sil! I was also waiting until the release to finally say that I've made a lot of progress on the ME2 mod. The issues with imported same-sex Ash/Kaidan romances have been fixed (i.e. Kaidan's email and the conversations with Joker and Kelly) and I recently finished editing the dialogue to allow FemShep to romance Tali and MaleShep to romance Thane. It'll need a lot of testing and there are still some things I'm unsure about, but I'm definitely excited for what's to come. Very cool! Wasn't Miranda a femShep romance at one point too? |

Just a quick update: almost all of the initial work for the ME3 mod has been completed. Now all that's really left is testing everything and making sure it all works properly, and I have no idea how long that's going to take. If anyone would be interested in helping out (i.e. sending me save files, etc.), please send me a PM and let me know. I would greatly appreciate it. Dumb question. How do I send a save file? I did one full MET PT with a FemShep who romanced Ashley with your first ME1 mod. Would I send you the final ME2 save for that FemShep? I seem to recall sending files using Google Drive and having him access the particular file. Or you could use Dropbox. Then DM rondeeno the link. |

There's some FemShep/Miranda audio, but it isn't enough to restore the romance unfortunately. I restored some of the early flirts though, so that FemShep at least has the option to flirt with her (and same for MaleShep and Jacob). |

I am confused.
The NPC flirty Mod is changing two files that are changed with the Same Sex Mod. Are the NPC Flirty Mod files the same as the SameSex Mod only with the addition that Conrad and Parasini are flirting, too?
I am quessing ICE folder = Noveria (Parasini) and STA = Citadel (Conrad)?
edit note for German users: This mod works with the German voices, too. The Same Sex Romance is fully located in ME and ME2 and before ME3 Cerberus attack on Citadel.
