I only played some of me2 but im intrigued my what i saw from the ps4 footage
Did they change the camera angle used in me2. Seems more like dai's camera
What is going on in the begining? Are we explorers? Are the flying robots that we walk by part off our ship/collecting samples?

Are we explorers? Are the flying robots that we walk by part off our ship/collecting samples? The 4k Tech video' focus was on the visuals and graphics of the game. While all of the footage was from the game, the hub was removed and it was arranged in a way to avoid spoiling the viewer on certain things. It also seems to be the reason behind the camera angle and why the squadmates are not really seen outside of the cutscene.
In Mass Effect: Andromeda we are the aliens as we arrive in the Andromeda galaxy as refugees in the search of a new home. We've been in cryogenic suspension during the journey. There is an emphasis on exploration including of the unknown so we are likely explorers. The robot-like creatures seen in the 4k Tech video are referred to as Remnant and are from Andromeda.
