Mass Effect: Hephaestus - Possibility and future plans.

I assume they are not going to be the only ones colonizing the planet, just the initial crew, but 300 still seems kind of small, I would have thought 2k or more. Mass Effect is rather small scale though.

to be clear this would be like a show, a cartoon, a web series, based in MEU using the Sims 2 animations. I would be able to find it on youtube, here on bsn, or newgrounds or elsewhere on the web.

It sounds interesting, I wonder if you'll go with the usual Mass Effect/Star Trek style ship crew, where the main character is the captain with a pilot, team of engineers, a doctor, maybe a chef, navigator, councilor, Requisitions Officer, Communications Specialist, Yeoman, etc., then the squad... would that follow the usual ME squad M/F/M/F/K/A/T/Te, M (male protagonist, shepard/scott)/F (female protagonist, shepard/sara)/M (male squadmate, kaidan/jacob/vega/liam)/F (female squadmate, ashley/miranda/ashley*/cora)/K (krogan, wrex/grunt)/A (asari, liara/samara/liara/peebee)/T (turian, garrus/garrus/garrus/vetra)/Te (tech, tali/mordin/edi/?).

Yes, that is true. However, manipulating The Sims 3 is way more difficult than manipulating The Sims 2. The Sims 2 is an older game, but it holds more downloadable and personalised content than any of the other games. There are more cheats, mechanics, tips, methods and so on. I've done research and tried it myself. Due to the rather exaggerated and goofy nature of the third game in comparison with the second instalment, some people have only been able to create realistic and serious projects by making and installing their own animations and skeletons into the game. That is something that I'm not capable of. In other words, TS2 has more tools and it's easier to manipulate than TS3. I've been using TS2 for ten years, so I know its ups and downs.

I suppose I know enough lore and I have done some voice acting in the past. Can't say I'm the caliber of Hale, Meer and the like, but I have a voice and a mic.

As for testers - anyone and everyone participating can be a tester/QA.
